like do i want soft? dark? 3d? do different styles and see which one turns out the best and what looks best and also just genuinely what is easier for you (unless you wanna be advanced). search sounds too to find what sounds you wanna use which will match your edit. if you have a random style like me and switch, it’s fine!

I’ve been editing for 3 years and I’m still so basic, I really want to be like other editors that are creative but idk how I’ve been watching SO many videos but I still don’t get it
Most of them use qr codes. If you still want to be naturally good at editing, watch tutorials, maybe the ae-like ones to be a GOD at video star. Or you can use Clip packs if you aren’t bothered.

Avoid QR code’s that aren’t made from you or else your never going to learn because that’s what I’m doing right now and I learned some basic transitions

For the packs, I usually just buy the yearly membership, then you get everything
It’s kinda a scam in my opinion lol. you don’t really need all the packs (at least I don’t) I barely use anything outside of multi layer, custom coloring, and maybe psycho sorter or velocity. But that’s just my personal preference. 💗
RAD EDITS yeah, people use different things, I use mainly multi but I also use re-effect a lot and transform. I like knowing that when I find something I want to try out, I’ll be assured that I can use it. That’s why I like to have everything ^^

I sooo relate on the make a preset in multi layer just in case somethings not right because I didn’t when I first started editing and I’d always have a rage when something wasn’t right and I had to restart
If ya’ll can’t or don’t wanna pay, there’s an app called CapCut, and there’s multiple different filters, transitions, animations, and audios all for free
i use free videostar and my edits arent choppy at all, theres lots of ways to make your transitions smooth just using free stuff ^_^.
