I imagine the wasabi functions similarly in this dessert to how ginger would in various holiday recipes. I’d love to see your take on some healthy and fresh holiday options to balance out a table spread full of roasted/mashed/fried/baked foods.
I love your flavor profiles and your techniques, I would love to see your take on an upscale holiday dinner...appetizer, entree, side, dessert. How about something unexpected, like bacon-mustard-white miso roasted brussel sprouts or some sort of duck fat- fried potato with charred scallion vinaigrette and your take on a beef/bison Wellington or...,looking to be inspired for the holiday dinner by you!
Oh my gosh all of this looks so good! Can you make the steak with normal frozen chicken breast thawed? Or fresh chicken breast cut in half? That dessert looked heavenly! Thank you for more great ideas! I would love to see more chicken or turkey dishes! :)
Would like to see that chicken sandwich idea played out. The slaw would do well with some of the chopped nuts added in. Then dress it with a sweet and tangy vinaigrette (lemon, rice wine vinegar, cilantro, sugar, salt and pepper). Sign me up for that lol. Also since you like making desserts why not try making a soy sauce caramel. It has this sweet/salty thing doing on with a little savory note. I used it on green tea ice cream for a sundae and it was killer. Try it out and tell me what you think.
Great recipes Byron. Your chanel has I inspired me to create a chanel. I'm currently learning about the whole video content creator process. I cant wait to post my first cooking video. Have a great evening.
I enjoy your videos but prefer it when you record the voice over afterward. Live narration like on this video is sometimes hard to hear. Even with the sound turned up I missed much of what you said during this video.
Constructive Criticism: Your videos used to be crisp and sharp and really good to watch. Then you changed something. Now you tend to mumble a lot and there's a lot of superfluous stuff. Maybe you wanted longer videos, but to be honest they aren't as good anymore. Like mixing. We all know how to mix, you can cut most of that and show the final texture along with the ingredients that went in. With recipes, what we want is quick video to show us the recipe. After all, when you want it, you're looking for something for dinner. You don't want to waste 20 minutes on it. Hope that helps in some way.
Wow this is really delicious! Im surely gonna try this recipe during this coming weekend. Thanks for sharing, you inspired me!! I’ve create a youtube channel. I do subs back
I love how realistic your videos are .. a lot of people would emit scenes that we actually experience in the kitchen !!!

I will add a tablespoon of rum into the dessert.

Byron, the granola addition to the squash is a great idea. However, a little bit of me dies every time I see someone use boxed stock.

The cook who bites his nails and later eats his own food in front of the camera, nope, not weird..
