Was just browsing...how to, with fennel. I've not cooked it before but since I love roasted vegies, this will be added to my list. Like your recipe, this will be a keeper. Thanks

Thanks for the idea. I've been wanting to try new veggies and always thought but never tried fennel roasted. I will be trying these roasted veggies for dinner with salmon with lemon butter sauce.

I've jut been introduced to the wonderful world of roasted veggies. Have some lovely parsnips, turnips, celeriac, and carrots waiting for their turn in the oven. This dish of yours looks heavenly!

Out of all the gourmet foods I've cooked for my family, this one- this SUPER EASY FREAKING RECIPIE- is the one that got the rave reviews. And with the parchment paper on the cookie sheet, it didn't even involve cleanup. I'm both irritated and thrilled.

Looks Great & Healthy but: (1) how long do you leave them in the oven?
    (2) How do You make the roasted fennel & carrot soup?

I was just wondering what to do with fennel. Have a few carrots and fennel in my garden. Also like how simple it is to fix.

love carrots, think I love fennel ( love black licorice, heard it tastes kind of like licorice) . I'll go for it and give it a try - you never have steered me wrong :) . Oh, yeah, the colorful mix of carrots you gave me are planted and I'm getting excited :)

I've never tried fennel because I don't like licorice, but since you hate it too but like fennel I will give it a try. I love my counter oven like yours and would like to rotisserie a chicken. I know a video of that would not be for everyone so maybe you could just tell me the time and temperature you use. Thanks.

  • @LindasPantry

No I will do one when I do another chicken... I did them at 375 for about an hour and a half. Thank you for watching.

It's a delicious recipe but the video is about 7 minutes too long. You're a great cook- work on shortening your videos and then you can be a UA-cam star

Hey Linda, I searched your pantry for turnips. I have never eaten them but a neighbor dropped a bag from her garden on my doorstep! Do you ever cook with turnips or do you know what type of flavor they have?

My main criticisms are the carrots should of been sliced in half. It looks a little crude when you cook them whole like that. And also you really should peel the carrots the outer skin is always bitter mostly from the soil that is in it. Maybe you went overboard with amount of olive oil. People are trying to reduce fat intake nowadays and all that oil is over the top with calories. I am half Sicilian and we used to use oil a lot more years ago. But the cost and the calories are a slight issue.
