They’re literally the only reason I even got a Jeep. I only wish I knew about them sooner instead of going through multiple mustang convertibles and hating life every winter.

No more zippers or channels . No more storage bags for the removable windows . No more getting out to go through the boring ritual of putting up/ down the factory or the usual aftermarket soft tops .
Mytop should consider a partnership with Jeep and offer the power top as a factory option .

@AdventureDex How loud are the motors when raising or lowering the top? Every video has music during that portion of the video.

My favorite part about my mytop is how much more open air freedom I get on a daily basis because there’s no way I’m getting out to dozen steps every time I park and then all over again when I come back. Especially when you’re running errands all over the city.

I have this top on a 08 but I noticed after motor was replaced it is twisted. Each side is twisted top to bottom. Is there a way to reset it? Also the back tailgate of top has formed a gap that was not there first year it was on.
Bro I love your channel great job and keep it up! This mod is awesome but as someone that lives in a cold climate I like moving to a hard top for the season. But I agree the price is pretty good considering the electric top from jeep doesn't give near the freedom that this thing does!

What is necessary to put the hard top back on? Do you have to remove all of the MyTop, sans the wiring?
Can you use roll bar pad covers with this top?
Quick question: for cold weather climates, would you recommend weather stripping or sealant when the trim work is installed? Seems like a place where snow and rain could get in. Thank you for this!

I live in Wisconsin, same question, lots of snow, can theses tops support a couple feet of snow? And can the material take negative degree weather with out cracking or crumbling or deteriorating
This should be offered as an option from the factory.
Just curious why you did not use a three way switch in place of one your orang switches seems to be a lot of wiring adding up. Still looks nice keep up the videos.

It's a great idea but I have the hard top and the soft top, I like to put the soft top on in the spring and put the hard top back on in the fall. I couldn't do without my hard top in the winter

Are you still using this? Since you can’t take out the windows are you seeing any wrinkles or fading in the rear windows over time of them being squished down when top is open?
Yea still using and loving it. No wrinkles. I’ll be doing an review soon!

well dex i bit the bullet and ordered one for my 2013 jk because of you so i ordered it and the lady called me telling me maybe 6 to 8 weeks and i used your code the lady i tal;ked to knew of your videos i told her about code and she says its a free mystery gift and expired but she is going to see if she can gift me something but anyway thanks for the reviews and all the videos you help me make alot of decisions on my jeep oh by way you still have the digital dash installed thanks brian

Yes, there is a 2-year warranty covering all the mechanical and electrical parts.
There is a very LIMITED warranty to protect the company. NO LABOR of any kind and the company is resistant to clearing up issues

They need to get rid of the mandatory install by one of their installers. I have swapped engines in a dozen Jeeps, but they wont allow me to do the install. Im not paying someone to install it just because they say, it's a stupid rule. I was going to put one on my wifes 2019, but after arguing with them over several phone calls I decided to just F it.
If you did an engine swap, you can definitely install this haha

Yah it’s tricky, there are a few lability and warranty issues involved. 🤷🏻♂️
Actually, we have customers who install it themselves successfully but we have also had some people who damaged the top during installation. The only thing that we are saying that our warranty does not cover things that were damaged during the installation. Let's say you would receive the myTop with a non-functioning motor, that is still covered and we would send you a replacement. If you cut open the box carelessly and cut through the canvas that would be on you. The reason we strongly recommend to have the top installed professionally is that even if something happens during the install the shop is the one having to replace the cut canvas in this fictional example. I hope this makes sense. Call us, if you have any more questions.

Yeah. Having owned 5 soft top Wranglers since 97, I can guarantee those plastic curtains will look like shit after a season. Argue all you want and try the "it's a high dollar clear plastic" all you want, it's going to look like shit.
