Slime advent calendars was actually something I started for my german channel a few years ago and those videos were always popular. So this year, I decided to turn this format into a huge review of the most popular Instagram slime shops! I'm so amazed at how far the slime scene has evolved over the past few years. When I made my first video in 2017, there were far fewer slime textures and most stores always had items in stock. Two years later and the variety of slime has exploded and shops are offering hand-sculpted clay decor, bespoke packaging and loads of other extras. Most shops operate on a restock basis so you actually need some luck and determination to get your hands on the most coveted slimes. Here are some tips which I think should help:
1) Follow the shop on Instagram because slime restocks and new products will always be announced here first.
2) Create an account in their shop so you can check-out as fast as possible without entering your address or payment details by hand.
3) Make a note of restock date, calculate time zones if needed, and make sure you are waiting for the restock at exactly that time.
4) Get into the shop and checkout as fast as you can. You should already be familiar with the slimes from Instagram so try to resist the urge to browse which wastes precious time.
♥ Slime Textures ♥
Here's a guide (from shortest to longest) on how long a slime will stay good. This often depends on the water content, "thinner" slimes tend to deactivate quicker and turn sticky. The thicker and drier a slime is, the less likely it is to go bad. I find most cloud/jelly/butter slimes stay good for months, whereas glossy slimes will start turning sticky after a few weeks.

For those who don’t know what coppa is, coppa is a group that was created in the 1900’s to stop people from collecting data about children, they have a rule where you must be 13+ or have adult permission in order for your accounts data to be collected, ( ik this is pretty boring so far but it’s a serious crisis for UA-cam ) however people/kids obviously lie about age or use their parents accounts and use this app, UA-cam. However UA-cam collects data, there is a age restriction which is 13+, which means their technically abiding coppa rules. If they weren’t following coppas rules, they would be sued, which is what has happened now, UA-cam has been sued 170,000,000+ because when UA-cam managers and operators go into interviews, they end up saying that youtube is a friendly place for children 6+, when their age restriction is 13+. Coppa started to collect these quotes and eventually sued UA-cam. Your probably wondering why this is a problem you need to listen to. Well, it’s not just viewers, but it’s also content creators. Coppa has made rules for youtube such as being fined ( you need to pay ) an amount of money if you violate coppa rules. Those rules are 1. If your videos intrigue children, or for audiences such as children, you will be fined based on your popularity. That’s the main rule, so let’s just say dan might be charged somewhere in the 40,000... 😞 this also affects viewers, because of you watch DanTDM, or maybe stampy, itsfunneh, anyone who intends their audience to be family friendly, their videos may be taken down, and be charged. This means most family friendly content will be gone from youtube. However there is a STOP COPPA website, it only has about 700,000 signatures compared to the billions of people who use UA-cam almost daily. Thank you if you’ve managed to read this entire

I was a bit surprised myself (my last slime review video was 2017), however I think slime has gone from a mainstream trend into a niche scene which will always be around. I was really impressed by how professional all the stores have become and judging by the speed which restocks sold out, this "trend" is far from over!

What is coppa
Lil Pizzy Crafting is for all ages, her channel isn't directed specifically towards children.
Coppa is the children protection law that stops kids under 13 from being given directed adverts and thing like that. Google, and therefore UA-cam recently got sued around 175 million/ thousand *don't remember* for taking advantage of children using the platform, as there has been evidence been given against them during business discussions. Although now creators are getting sued and basically demonetised of UA-cam and the legal takers if any videos are deemed for children, which can include ridiculous requirements like cute characters. One video can be sued for around 45000 dollars.
Many creators have problems with these sort of things because when signing in to UA-cam, you must have a google account, and that states you must be above the age of 13. Although UA-cam did get 'cocky' by stating in discussions the platform is the most popular for ages between toddlers and pre teens, even though UA-cam is technically not meant for those ages.
If this channel does get hit *touch wood that it doesn't* they would get paid 80-90% less money, videos would get less notifications ads and recommendations.
Although this rule gets to stupid since if a parent does permit there child on yt they need a signature like what how the flack is that gonna work???
Although I have no clue whether the information is 100% true or not since I;m not a creator.
