First song, first album, Good Times Bad Times is the first Led Zep song I heard and still my favorite. From the opening crunchy riff I loved this band. Love Custard Pie too.
I was searching the comments for this. I was a couple or three months away from HS graduation and I bought the US releases of the first Led Zeppelin and the first Jethro Tull on the same day, never heard them before, played them to death. GTBT was the first LZ song I ever heard and it's still my favorite, too. I didn't do arenas and stadiums later on, but I caught them 4-5 times at smaller venues like the Fillmore East and the NY State Pavilion. Good times!

I would say it's Hard Rock BUT Zep laid the ground for Heavy Metal Without Led Zeppelin there would be no Heavy Metal I guess this is why most Heavy Metal bands refer to Zep as their main influence, while most Hard Rock bands refer to the Stones

I never understood why in the the out door was ranked so low in his video ranking the albums. I thought it was a great album that kept alive rock music when disco was taking over. While innovative and against the grain, I felt Led Zeppelin 3 was the least one I listened to.

In my opinion, not popular, FOOL IN THE RAIN, huge Zeppelin fan growing up.The finest song they ever did appeared on their last album, John Bonham was at his best and just owned his version of the "Purdy Shuffle".They where grown up, in tune with themselves, and just brilliant, and cheeky. Love it. Sad, when Bonham Died, I remember exactly when I heard the news.Ugh.

First song, first album, Good Times Bad Times is the first Led Zep song I heard and still my favorite. From the opening crunchy riff I loved this band. Love Custard Pie too.
I was searching the comments for this. I was a couple or three months away from HS graduation and I bought the US releases of the first Led Zeppelin and the first Jethro Tull on the same day, never heard them before, played them to death. GTBT was the first LZ song I ever heard and it's still my favorite, too. I didn't do arenas and stadiums later on, but I caught them 4-5 times at smaller venues like the Fillmore East and the NY State Pavilion. Good times!

Whole Lotta Love annoys me because it is so blatantly a rip off of Muddy Waters' You Need Love. It's a fucking cover.
When someone first plays Whole lotta Love they are greeted by a strong riff and interesting vocals, and are swiftly bored by around 2 minutes from jimmy page showing off guitar skills for the rest of the song, its weird and boring!

Love that the Rover made your number one. I think Presence is my go to album lately for the last couple of years when i want some Zep. The riffs on that album are excellent. Though it's a little too short being only 7 songs!
No "Dazed and Confused" or "Whole Lotta Love" or "Communication Breakdown"? OK. #1 is "The Rover"? Wouldn't make my top 10. Oh well. I guess it's good that Zeppelin has enough great songs that people can disagree and still have really good reasons why. In other words, they got a shit load of great songs.

I never understood why in the the out door was ranked so low in his video ranking the albums. I thought it was a great album that kept alive rock music when disco was taking over. While innovative and against the grain, I felt Led Zeppelin 3 was the least one I listened to.
When the Levee breaks #1 and Since I've been loving you LIVE versions any show #2. After that wow, too many to choose from, and I'll go back n forth forever.

Not my favorit band, but I really like Whole Lotta Love
In my opinion, not popular, FOOL IN THE RAIN, huge Zeppelin fan growing up.The finest song they ever did appeared on their last album, John Bonham was at his best and just owned his version of the "Purdy Shuffle".They where grown up, in tune with themselves, and just brilliant, and cheeky. Love it. Sad, when Bonham Died, I remember exactly when I heard the news.Ugh.
Favorite would be 10 years gone. No offense to anyone, i never need to hear anything from IV again.

Zeppelin has been my second favorite band tied with Yes since I heard Led Zeppelin II. “Whole Lotta Love” blew my mind at the psychedelic part when I listened to it for the first time. And my love for the band has only gone up since then. So I don’t know if I can choose just 10 songs to praise but I’ll do my best...
