Tribal Community Eye Health Program | Palamu Tiger Reserve, Jharkhand, India

Many parts of India lack of eye care infrastructure , where communities are remotely located in deeper forests away from development , health infrastructure and services.
In Partnership with the Society for Environment and Social Awareness (SESA), the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation has worked to provide access to vision care services in some of the most remote parts of India.
SESA has a mission to create a healthy, vigilant, and progressive society empowering everyone to establish a self-dependable society.
Our work in this program has provided over 9500 screenings and 4800 spectacles covering 50 village communities near the Palm Tiger Reserve. This project collaboration and documentation was beautifully shot and edited by ‪@MINDIA‬ . The story covers the unique challenges of providing vision care in the most remote areas of the world, and shows the beautiful colors and faces of the many lives we impacted.
