Folks, whether you believe in the unknown or not, do yourself a favor. Always, always, listen to your gut. You feel something is off, take action. Do not ignore it. Whether its about a situation, a person or something unknown; if your spidey sense is tingling, take heed.
So true. Wise words. Sometimes Your subconscious can register information much faster than your conscious thought process. If you feel something is wrong or off, better to make haste than stand there and figure it out.
Saint Paul MN here. Wow this interview gave the chills. I grew up in the UP of Michigan. I delivered the Duluth News Tribune early in the morning. I remember it was the fall, and it was early dawn. I was coming to the end of my route. Up ahead, l saw this large white dog as l got closer it stood up next to a White Pine tree. It must have been 7ft. Tall. I never ran home so quickly. I woke my parents, and they did not believe me. I will never forget thst.
Dogmen and Sas are still around. I’ve got a crabby DM behind my property near Duluth. My friend also saw one checking out her chickens on Island lake in 2020. They are real and they are 4th dimensional beings, so can vibrate faster than we perceive (unless they are having slow, dark thoughts about securing a snack). Ignore anything that seems off. They can’t harvest when they’re not being acknowledged. Stay safe. I get how you feel! 😊
@leahseim6635 You also stay safe & Pray the blood of Jesus, as Protection over you & your's. As well as Command/Order them out too, just as you do to satan & his evil spirits in the name of Jesus Christ❤
Yep. My dad & stepmother had a remodeled old schoolhouse 20 minutes outside of Chetek, Wisconsin, [which is about 67 miles due east of where you guys are]. Indian burial mounds, old cemetery, pot lake nearby. I am a Christian and a few times i wanted to stay up there outside on the farmer up the road's land. I went up one summer for my birthday to camp by myself. Guess what? I saw a man literally materialize about 15ft in front of me in Farmer Orv's woods by his little pot lake. It was 2pm late July, 1990. I was going to camp there overnight by myself!!😮 First, i saw what looked like dark full hefty bags, then dark jeans, jean shirt, and white white hair= the man's face was turned away from me. That voice was like " get out of here right now!" Jumped in our old blue pick up & bumped up and out of there as fast as i could. Drove down about a mile from orv's to the farmers across the street from my dad's school house[ since he wasnt home] i went across the road & told the 2 farmer's sons what happened & we went back out there asap= no imprints in the long grass, no tracks, nope. Nothing. Seriously.?!!! It was always creepy up there but so beautiful one could ignore it or turn a blind eye to it. The land where this happened was just up for sale = 11 acres & a cute little 1890's farmhouse, with a pot lake. Only 229k. The family didn't want it? Only 229k??? Other properties with no acres up there, just a home, are more. I can bet i know why the land was so reasonably priced= totally stigmatized. Definitely haunted.
I know where you are talking it's far to populated for anything to live their odd n not be photographed. Pretty sure u seen Jan Arthur flueghoff. That man could appear out of no where. Sposedly he is dead now but no one can find a death record.
I believe you. When there's a dark cloud hanging over an area, it's usually because people there are living bad. Bad music, bad language, bad relationships with lots of fighting, drinking, drugs and other types of abuse. You can fix it though. Clean up the land and home. Let light in the home and lots of lights. Good music, kind words and love. Prayer often together and good movies. Get the land producing and put animals on it. I had to do t his once. My property is now highly productive. Lots of kids coming through the years for party's and fun get to gathers. It's known as a very happy place to come now. People come to take family photos and reunions. 😊
I was born and raised in Minnesota. I had an absolutely terrifying experience with one.I was about 14. It was in winter, I lived just outside Chisago City. Very remote, the house was built in about 1900. Large farm fields surrounded the front, including the neighbors on three sides, just huge fields, with huge old growth woods behind us, which ran down into a large basin area, woods on the hillsides and down all sides of the basin and covering half of the flat bottom area, with a swampy area and a lake that was covered with a rolling mat of weeds and rootmass on the other half (which was called a bottomless bog). So very secluded. I saw it face to face. I actually still get sick with fear thinking of it. This is not a normal being. It has hooves. It's not "bigfoot". And, it doesn't always leave tracks. That was so freaky. There was snow, a lot of it. Only one set of tracks came in, tracks walked around as it paced around where I was. But no tracks were left from it leaving. It was so terrifying. I was frozen in place. I could feel it staring, leaning over me. I can never forget it and it's been 50 years.
😮 I'm guessing you live somewhere else now? MN here, also. About 50 miles south of the Twin Cities. I'm SO sorry that you had to go through that experience!! Kim
I’ve had Wendi (go) zombie deer types after me since I was little. Did the tracks look like a person walking around? The first W came after me when I was in a 3 season porch in the suburbs north of St. Paul as a kid. The I am God told me they were ancient evil because saying the name attracts them telepathically to you. But, they are all over as well. They can’t climb trees and hate fire as it makes the broken angel spirit part of them vibrate faster into mist. The dark causes him to slow down and become solid like the decaying deer part. They are more like ambush predators. But can run fast on all fours. (We ran from one at night.) They tend to think people are roaches who need to be squished. They don’t like silver either, but if taken down, the spirit will just find some other human to manipulate. Best to just leave them alone.
Thanks Chris for another great story, my grandson, who we adopted & my wife all look forward to your story every Sunday. My grandson is four years old. We don't miss a single Sunday.
That's too young to expose him to scary stories hun. Please allow him be innocent, silly, and happy, and stick to reading children's stories with him for a few years, will you please? You want him to have happy dreams, not nightmares, right? Thanks, Grandma ❤
Well, if this is how your channel is...great interview, no swearing or paranormal demonic stuff...I am in. Really enjoyed this. I live in Alaska, have had dm and bf on my land for 60 years. Really excellent interview! New subber here.... Alaska-
Minnesotan also. We’ve had multiple experiences here in southern MN. The most recent was in July a couple years back. I was sitting on the east-facing steps waiting for my husband to come down the road. Three bellows of something like a bull elk about 7 seconds apart went from south of me to north of me - knee high corn so I would’ve seen it but didn’t. But the bellows were so loud my ears rang and I could feel them in my chest. Husband came up the driveway moments later and he saw and heard nothing but he was on a tractor.
My daughter was coming home late one night from a party with a friend. She said there was a wolf like dog eating road kill in the road. They had to go around it and she said it's back was as tall as her car top. she was driving a honda civic at the time. We live in the high desert of California where there are stories of of UFO's, chupacabras, animal mutilations and other weird things that go bump in the night. I love your show, even though I get spooked!
I used to live on the river bluffs next to the Federal land on the Minnesota side across from Osceola, Wisconsin. Me and my family had multiple strange experiences there. Everything from being stalked by something in the woods to UFO’s and strange lights in the sky and the woods. I would go out on my deck to smoke late at night and sometimes you would get that uneasy feeling you were being watched. Our strange experiences took place from Spring of 2017 to 2022
My cousin was having surgery so he asked if I would stay at his place and feed the animals. He lives in Carlton county. He has a big 89 acres and most of it is woods. One night his dog started barking and I thought it would be a bear or wolves after his chickens. There was a very tall creature that was covered in dark fur standing by one of the apple trees. It had no trouble getting apples up high in those trees. I would have needed a latter to reach. I watched it as it finally walked across the property back into the woods. My cousins neighbors down the road stopped by the next morning to see if I needed any help and I told them what I saw. They told me they had seen it and so did my cousin. I have never been that scared in my life. We walked down by the apples trees he looks at the ground and says he was just hungry. Never watched my cousins place again.
I live in Northern Minnesota. I saw a monster wolf a few years ago. I remember thinking that I wouldn't be surprised if it got up and walked on 2 legs !
The "Giant Wolf", up-right 'walking dog' stories that come out of the _MN. Cottage grove_ area (both modern & from A 100 yrs ago) are insane. I even had one myself! > South of 94, East of HGWY 10 & West of the St.Croix river // Wisconsin border (it forms an upside down triangle, that Cottage Grove area on A map). For centuries has had its strange share of odd creture & "dogman" sightings.
I wonder if you had a run in with the Bray Road Beast. Back in college, my buddies and I packed up my truck, we traveled through Wisconsin one weekend. We wanted to find the Bray Road Beast, never did happen of course. We started our weekend journey with supposed witness reports and the locations of potential sightings. Don't quote me on this, it's a large wolf that can, for a short period of time, walk on the hind legs.
There is a story on UA-cam that is really scary and the man who had the encounter was working for the DNR. He was in the official DNR pick up. lol. It was in one of the uppermost counties of Wisconsin, on the state line. He had found a dead deer on a gravel back road and it wasn’t reported yet, but he had a tailgate lift and he would pick up large carcasses so he lowered the lift and put the deer on the lift and into the back end, hopped in to the truck to fill out the paperwork - which is lengthy, but required. As he was working on the report he felt the truck lurch and bounce. He thought the wind had come up. Right after that he felt the truck bounce again and when he looked in the rear view he saw a wolf standing and with one big paw it was lifting, dragging the dead deer out of the back end. It broke off the lifter tail gate at the same time. He said the wolf was standing and about 6 ft tall. On two feet. Eeew. He started up the truck fast and rushed to the closest police office and they returned. The deer was gone but they found the broken off tail gate lifter in the corn field about 20 ft away. The police said it was not the first time they heard about this thing. It was a scary one. The Bray wolf sightings were more in central southern Wis.
After 38 years, it is so affirming to hear someone describe their first experience of hearing the vocalizations the same way FINALLY! I've always said it sounded like a cow in labor getting it's guts ripped out. In the years since, I've heard the "common" whoops and howls, but only the Sierra sounds came close to what we heard that night. Thank You Aaron for sharing your story. I have been living in these creatures territory for 47 of my 54 years of life. Dozens of dozens of events such as vocalizations, rock clacking, them leaving gifts, and bluff charging when we didn't abide by "time of the day/night" that was considered by both sides as theirs. My first event was when I was 5 and seen my first trackway. My last, was last night, when they tossed rocks onto the roof for 40 minutes.
Hearing the deep gutters scream/growl/howl that lasted between 7-10 seconds, was what finally got my attention. I still haven’t heard any recordings that were exactly the same. It takes the brain time to stop shorting out when it can’t give a logical explanation of what it heard.
@@marciepowell9731 I have done a couple interviews here on youtube. The most current one is on Abnormal Investigation's channel. I live in a very active area and probably will be doing another one sooner or later with an update of what's happened lately.
Yay , two Base Camp Chris stories in one week, this is easily my favourite story telling channel, I never miss one. Really appreciate the enthusiastic interviewing style you have 👍
LOVE the way this man tells his story. Very simple and “this is the way it was” type factual. Not sensational, or built up, or anything like that. Very believable. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I live close to the Minnesota border. It's usually uneventful (mix of prairie type land that stretches forever on 3 sides, then a wilderness state park on the west side, we are 1 hour from the nearest city). But in early December 2019 one afternoon we had a hell of a fight to get this dog thing OFF our porch and off our property. At one point it was STANDING at our door, feeling around the rim of the door -top to bottom, with it's paws/hands/whatever (everything was going so fast it was hard to hone in on one thing about it) but it was the biggest dog you ever seen that was standing at our door (about 7 ft), and hopped our porch like a dude (arm holding body weight, while slinging it's leg over). There is some seriously weird stuff out here in the middle of nowhere fr
I live remote coastal AK, near proximity to a salmon stream. Black and Brown bears are common through the neighborhood. In the 25 years at this homesite I've not heard of anyone in the neighborhood having problems with them. My Malamute pup gets pretty worked up when they are around which perhaps keeps them a distance away. None the less, I keep a Model 12 Winchester with 5 rounds of #6 shot in the magazine centrally located in the house just in case I need to make a lot of noise and pepper the butt end in a parting shot. However, if something creepy were to occur I'd have no hesitation to ruin it's day!
I'm from Minnesota! My friend (a no nonsense guy) was just telling me about his encounter early morning while fishing. From his boat he saw a large two-legged dark creature on the shore, next to a tree, and he says it looked like it was waving to him. He watched it until it left, waited for for full sunrise, then went up to the tree. He couldn't see any tracks but he said it had to be 7 feet tall or more. He said it could have been a bear reaching for an apple but it just didn't move or act like a bear. This was the Knife Lake Kanabec County area. He's not the kinda person to tell stories or want attention.
I grew up in northeast S.D., but know Minnesota pretty well ... Mankato is squatchy ... New Ulm is Squatchy ... Winona is squatchy ... I'm just glad knowledge of them has grown from the verboten topic it once was.
The entity was probably waving at him and telepathically ordering him to come closer. Good thing your buddy waited until the dude left, or he may shared some sushi with the being. Not that all higher dimensional beings are aggressive. Some are benign. But, if you don't know; don't go. Some are looking for volunteers for their breed and feed programs. Stay safe!
So was there an apple tree that your buddy seen that so called creature next to? Just curious cause not many apple trees along the water line that I’m aware of. 🤷🏼♂️
Spent lots of time in the woods around Knife Lake when I was a teen in the 90’s. Ran a trap line starting at about 14, got a big river otter once, that was my best catch. I hunted squirrels in the daytime with an old mountain cur and chased coon at night with hounds. Scariest thing I ever seen anywhere around there is getting to a tree expecting a coon and finding a big sow black bear in my light instead. Seen wolves a few times, (the real ones not imaginary dog men bullshit all these bored city boys are talking about in this video) but there’s nothing scary about wolves, they take off like a shot at the sight of a human. Probably generational fear after having their whole species eradicated. If you want something scary, talk about what those reintroduced wolves have done to the deer! Anyways it was nice to see someone comment about Knife Lake, my dad is still just north of Warman. Got a brother over near there too. As for me I got the hell outta MN. It’s too crowded for decent people now. Only dogman you’d find there now would be some Biden voter’s misplaced poodle. If you did find him that damn state would probably immediately pass a law granting dogman pronouns and special bathroom access while they were building a dogman accessible abortion clinic. Too bad what’s happened to that state. Used to be a pretty good place. Not anymore.
I live in northern Minnesota and have had three different experiences with Bigfoot. The third time scared me so much that I froze I literally could not get my body to move and my truck was about 30 feet to my left and Bigfoot was about 30 feet to my right and I could feel it starring at me. It was very dark that night. I was outside and I heard this loud noise on the other side of the swamp that was a little over 100 feet of where I was standing it sounded like a big truck going through the woods by the swamp. I didn’t have a flashlight but I kept staring in the direction of the noise. Then complete silence no frogs croaking just quiet. The swamp is at the bottom of a hill that I used to slide down in the winter when I was young. I would say it’s about a 45* slope. I kept staring towards the swamp because I was too scared to move. Then I heard four loud steps to my right I felt the ground move with each step and when it stopped it took a long intake of air I didn’t hear it exhale but I could feel it staring at me and at that point I was so frightened I honestly could not move. It felt like minutes but it was only seconds but when I could move and run to my truck it felt like I was in slow motion I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it. I went back there the next day and I could see where something was standing at the top of the hill from the tall grass. But another thing there was a tree branch about 6 feet in length and 2-3 inches in diameter shoved down in the ground almost 2 feet. I got it out and I couldn’t even push it down far enough to make it stand by itself. I don’t scare very easily but I don’t care who thinks that they are not afraid of anything and would laugh at me but I guarantee they would be shaking in their boots if it happened to them.
@@tonyinfinity It’s not B/S in any way I’m 52 years old I don’t make up stories. My experiences with this goes back when I was just a kid. People that have walked around my property waiting for me to get there have said pretty much the same thing. Stating that there’s something back there and they would wait inside their vehicle until I arrived. This has happened several times with different people. These were full grown adults and didn’t know each other but yet they basically said the same thing. I have had more experiences that I haven’t mentioned. I no longer live there, I sold the property for less than half of the value it was worth. Only fools would go looking for Bigfoot
@@jimmoravec1326 It would be awful to be frozen in fear like that. That’s a dangerous thing in and of itself. People who survived inside the twin towers in 9/11 said their manager trained them to evacuate quite a few times. They managed to move down the stairs. Others froze in their spot. They never made it down. You were lucky that night!
@@jimmoravec1326I believe you! My son has seen them multiple times. Twice while living in Zurich Switzerland while camping, and the first time here at home in Northern California, and this is the same area where my Daughter-In-Law's father also saw Bigfoot going all the way around their trailer while camping. Some people are open and more spiritual and you will see them. Don't let others phase you that don't believe you because they are real. They are out there.
@@jimmoravec1326I believe you! Some people just do not have an open mind to it and just because they've never witnessed it doesn't mean it's not real. Because they are real. My adult son has seen them a few times here in Northern California in the Sierra mountains, and where others have also seen them. In the general same area my daughter-in-law her father was out camping with friends and they had a trailer they were staying in and one showed up after dark, And there happened to be a full moon that night. These men were frightened and curious and It was going from window to window trying to look inside the trailer. One of the windows was very large on one side of the trailer and it completely blocked out the moonlight. It also was making the trailer move by its curiosity playing with the door playing with the windows. My son saw one in this general area. My son likes to go camping all by himself. He loves it! The quiet and go fishing. He only seen it the one time there but when he moved to Zurich Switzerland. He would go camping by himself again to the same area and seen one as it stepped out into the open and I said what did you do? He said he was petrified and stopped and just stared and he said it looked just as shocked as he was and they both just stood and stared at each other until it finally turned and walked away. And I'm like you went back a second time after seeing that and he was like yeah It was my son's favorite spot lol And that's where he saw it a second time. I totally believe my son and also believe my daughter-in-law's dad I know him very well, And as he told his story, you could see the nervousness as he told it and you can see he was reliving the whole experience! So to the other poster who doesn't believe just because you never seen one and somebody else has doesn't mean they're not real and to insult another because of this just makes that person ignorant.
I have a Son in Nissawa, he laughs at me for believing, I wouldn’t live in the woods like they do. Thankfully their dogs have been okay and they aren’t worried. I think it’s worse to be close to rivers, or large lakes, like Superior.
A buddy and I were hiking near voyagers park back in January of 2019. We made it about a mile along the shoreline of a lake following a packed down snowmobile track. As we came around a point both of us froze, looked at each other and simultaneously said it was time to head back. We both felt something was watching us from the thick timber on shore. As we head back to the truck, about 200 yards from where we turned around, I notice a wolf track imprinted into our boot tracks from the walk out on to the lake. Turned around again to see where the track stopped and we found the exact spot it jumped from the snowmobile track into the deep snow and up into the timber. Never seen the wolf but we sure felt it
Happy to have your channel pop up this morning, interesting encounters with this interview, I m from Boston and retired in Florida community next to forest that goe on for miles, one morning I was walking my dog by the woods and an awful stench was coming from behind a house abutting the woods, first thing that came to mind was a report in the newspaper of a local girl going missing and thought it might have been her body,I went to check it out when this huge hairy guy stood up and looked at me,felt like it was reading my mind,it didn’t create fear in me, I was totally frozen in place looking at it, it clicked his teeth and went back into the woods,my dog was pulling me out of the trance, I continued my walk and there on the corner was a neighbor who asked me if I saw it,he said it was rummaging through the trash when he was on the way to work and came back to see it again, I asked him what it was ,he told me that it’s called a skunk ape, ever since I’ve been interested in researching all I can find about these forest people, kinda looked like Andre the giant wrestler to me. That thing is in my head now and can’t get rid of it. There’s amazing people who interact with them on their property if you looked,I’m always intrigued by the stories. Amazing reality to those who have had an encounter.
Great description! You might want to see if anyone else reported the sighting or do so yourself. The is a Bigfoot Convention on Ocala in June at the World Equestrian Center also.
WOW Chris ...that was probably the best story ( and interview ) you've ever had... you got him to talk and explain as much as possible, so we could better understand. And I've been in Minnesota decades ago as a child and then as an adult with my husband and children, staying at a campground,in a rented cabin ....we never saw anything but when we got several miles from our destination we stopped for cabin supplies for our stay. We got our food etc and the guy behind the counter asked us which camp we were going to and he said ok that road we would be on had several people reporting a creature running onto the roads and almost being hit...local law said warn folks in these areas. We proceeded to our cabin with nothing seen but we all ( three kids ) and husband and myself were very watchful the rest of the apx. 15 miles to the camp at night. We were in deer river Minnesota...not too far from Canada border....I had relatives in Duluth, deer river and grand rapids. Our vacation was uneventful. This was probably close to 50 years ago...( I'm 78 ) but as your interview story was about places I could almost see in my minds eye it brought back a lot of memories...thanks again Chris! Really enjoyed this. Take care BB from somewhere in Louisiana 🤠👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙂❤️
I've lived here all of my life and have never seen anything. But indoors...a different story!! (Although I haven't SEEN anything inside). Whew!! LOL Just felt and heard things. We bought our house 8 years ago and I frequently feel watched, also. The pets seem to see things. 🤔 P.S. I would love to see the bayou someday!! I also love BB!! Kim
I just saw that Chris had posted this about 30 minutes ago, so I'm missing kick-off to listen to this and it's so interesting I was gonna just watch later but I just kept watching lol wow what a great story.Another great one from our favorite bigfoot story time teller so thank you Chris!!
Fellow Minnesotan here! I live in West Central Mn (Fergus Falls) and my best friend saw a Sasquatch 2 years ago near Nashua. Her and her friend were driving on the highway when they saw something on two legs crossing the road in front of them. They slowed down to a near stop and the creature stood in the ditch seeming to almost "greet" them! She said they both had a positive feeling about the encounter and feel lucky to have witnessed it.
I live a hour west of there... my wife and I have heard some weird things at night. I know my bobcat, cougar and coyote calls. These were very different.
The red foxes in mn sound like a woman screaming in the night. I dont mean a bark i mean it sounds like a woamn being murdered in the woods. Super freaky hearing it come from the woods at 4am getting in my car for work
I've been in Minnesota for 48 years so could relate to these experiences. The most memorable primal-feeling experience I've had though was in the gulf in Florida. I was at a beach in waist deep water and i got that primal fight/flight feeling before i knew what was happening. Moments later i realized some GIANT manatees were floating past me, super close, nearly touching me. It's fascinating how your senses can alert you before you actually know something is going on. Thanks for sharing this, it was interesting.
I have lived along the St Croix on the Wisconsin side my entire life. I have hiked most of the state parks in the area. Several times, I have run, literally run, to my car out of the park because I could feel something watching me.
Wow! Some of his experiences gave me the chills! I am in my camper next to the woods in Virginia, and I kept thinking I was hearing things and had to pause the video to listen! Thank you Chris! This interview was awesome! Keep hiking!
There were rumors of an aggressive entity harassing people in your neck of the woods. Stay safe. I personally think it was a dogman or Wendi (go) (half demon/half long deceased animal nephilim that possessed a human who was in distress and didn’t want to die.) please let me know if you are bothered again.
Another great story, Chris. I enjoyed the interview, too. You’re a great interviewer because you ask the pertinent questions, but then you listen and allow the person to talk. There are many journalists who could take lessons!
I've heard hundreds of squatch encounters and so many say that feeling of fear overcomes them. HowToHunt guy's channel is best, but this channel is darn good 👍 Thx!
Steve is great but also check out Sasquatch Chronicles: excellent for actually hearing interviews of encounters. Also, really incredible is Subarctic Alaskan Sasquatch, Fred has an interactive map of sightings in Alaska and he retells encounters of people he has interviewed. For anyone who is skeptical, there is no longer any denying the amount of eye witness accounts. These things are real and we should all be asking "Why Are We Being Lied To" about them!?
Minnesota seems to be a real hotspot for activity! Very interesting experiences this man and his family have had. I have to admit, I missed your usual storytelling, Chris. You have such a gift, and I always look forward to it. But this was interesting as well.
I live on the Wisconsin side if the St Croix. Lots of rock cliffs, old growth trees. Lots of wildlife. Absolutely could see wild creatures here. I live an hour north of Minneapolis.
I could literally feel the terror that family experienced 😳 I enjoyed your hike and the landscape pictures throughout the interview! Beautiful 🥰 Thanks Chris 💜
I can personally attest to Sasquatch near the St. Croix. Had my first (and only to date) Sasquatch experience just last November while camping just about a mile from the river. Didn’t see them but sure heard them. It was not threatening but they where curious. Something large on two feet walked through my camp site while I had sleep paralysis. Did not take anything. Earlier I heard coyote like howls. Then next day loud ground pounding. I plus I found a clam shell in the camp site placed very deliberately. I think they where just checking me out. Yes they are in the area. I think they like the river.
From my own experience - not only can they sound like air-raid sirens BUT they can replicate the sound of birds, coyotes, crashing trees - thx for the entertaining interview
That and they literally tear fear into your body. Like the skin on the back of your neck, head and every inch of you. It was so powerful and frightening that it brought tears to my eyes. Then your mind races to find what it could possibly have been, and nothing fits.
@@msgottaneedtoknow i've not had that type of encounter - but absolutely - my experience - i was shoveling snow from my very long remote Montana drive - dressed all black puffy snowsuit, black gloves, boots and fluffy black hat - i'm short - i think the mom BF and her son thought i was a baby BF - i received a wood duck wing on my front porch - little gifts - i really hope i never meet an angry or psychopath or territorial or just plain fed up BF (same feelings about humans)
@@msgottaneedtoknowIt's called ifrasound, VLF; which can be projected loudly or silently, and from long distances; it can instill peace, love, dread, a trance state or paralysing fear, including nausea, headaches, memory loss, etc. It's their protective 'weapon', (typically used when their children/family are near), to keep threats away.
Omg I could listen to this guy tell his experiences for hours and days !!! He has such a laid back cadence and laugh absolutely not making anything up. I felt all panicked when You ( Chris ) started saying running out of time 🥺
This area that he’s describing (and lives) has a uniqueness to the woods and terrain, flora/fauna because although the St Croix River area isn’t remote/desolate, but it’s not a populated area, either. IMO, the atmosphere feels ancient and mysterious. The valleys/hills/prairies/forests in (nearly all of) eastern MN = relatively unchanged + untouched since Native American’s thrived here…THANK YOU for posting this interview. Because the St Croix area is well traversed + maintained yet still secluded, it only stands to reason that “entities or paranormal beings” would reside there, too!!
Chris, I was so glued to this interview. So fascinating and scary. I mean scary!!! Lol. The unexplained always fascinates me. Our forests and woods are so vast that who knows what lurks in them. Aaron, thank you for sharing your story!!! It really was awesome coming from a professed scecptic. All i can say is wow!!! Stay safe out there Chris and Aaron!!!
Great story and love the detail. As a lifelong MN resident having a cabin in northern MN and living along the St.Croix since the mid 80’s I’ve seen and experienced a lot of weird things. I would love to see the property first hand since the experiences are happening 20 minutes from me. Now it seems like a big foot type encounter or with some of the stories even more so skin walker. Has any research been done on those 2 mounds to determine if they might be Native American burial mounds? That could explain some of this since the area is covered in rich Native American history.
Love the hike, love the interview. Yet another wonderful job Chris and thank you Aaron for sharing your story. Stay warm Chris, spring like weather in SC.
Cool story and may I add; great choice of brew. In a world that in now inundated with some of the tastiest IPAs from some of the most interesting and resinous hops, there was time when there was no IPA and Sierra Nevada's was I think the first to be bottled for distribution at first just in NorCal. Before that, when it was still just being kegged for local consumption in Chico's favorite fern bar, Lasalle's in 1982, and my sweetheart lived up in the headwaters of the Feather River and she wanted to show me around Chico and of course introduce me to the then local brew a couple of glassblowers over at Orient and Flume were making as a side hustle. I've had plenty of craft brews since then since within a decade micro and craft brewing proliferated like crazy and seems like it hasn't stopped. And like they say 'you never forget your first love..or your first IPA". Cheers.
Thank you Aaron for sharing your fascinating experiences!!! When June comes around, if you hear those sounds again......PLEASE record them and share with Chris and all of his viewers!❤
That’s what I was gonna say! Have a medium come do a reading there, it may be an old Indian burial area. You could do some ceremony or something to bless and share the land?
Several years ago 3 of us went camping pretty close to there on the river. The water was extremely high and all the campsites were submerged. We found an island with a tiny clearing of razor grass that would have to suffice as a campsite as it was getting dark. We heard some very unsettling things that night. Loud grunts, large rocks and objects being tossed into the water, large branches breaking, even though the rest of the island was under water, all the rocks would have been too, and under a couple feet at that. We heard beavers slapping like crazy as though threatened by whatever this was. We were absolutely terrified
Yes, i agree this channel is a favorite of mine...not too long or too sensational..So far all of his stories and interviews seemed more plausible than some other Bigfoot channels. I am an old grandmother..never saw a Bigfoot or UFO...But have seen a ghost...so i definitely KNOW that we can't explain everything away by Science
We live near the Dells and we have heard some heavy growling sounds in our woods. There are Bobcats near us as someone saw one on their outside camera. The Bobcat growl is bone chilling.
My husband seen something yesterday morning that had ALL the indications of being a Bigfoot. The area he was traveling in, a lady has posted of smelling something awful around her property. He seen it crossing a road to his left for only a few seconds. I’m having him take me to that road and look for footprints. I’m nervous and excited.
I bumped into one of these guys thinking I found something dead, they can possess your emotions, are you sure you want to go looking for them,I’d just leave them alone.see,”how to hunt” he’s got plenty of stories.

I have, but will keep trying. In the winter, it's more difficult because the ones I have tend to stop working under 15 degrees. This year was a bit warmer.
@reasonwarrior ever see balls of light, aka orbs? I'm originally from the UP, have heard many weird things and have seen orbs. I had one visual but at the time it's wasn't a normal subject of conversation so oddly enough I chalked it up to a dude wearing a fur coat during deer season. My brother still lives in the UP and has seen Sasquatch four times near where he hunts and once in Ontario. It is a confusing subject. One thing I notice, like my dude wearing a fur coat thought, is the explanation used to describe events often are crazier than if you just take it for what it likely is. The natives believe it's a being that exists in both the current and spiritual worlds, I think there's truth to that.
I live 20 minutes from this guy! Wish I could figure out who he is as I’d love to see his property! Love your YT name - Jesus IS the Way, the Truth and the LIFE!

"Dogman" isn't really credible as an undiscovered species among real and credible bigfoot researchers/investigators. It's far more likely that these witnesses, if their legit, are seeing a bigfoot/sasquatch subspecies or a deformity, etc. Bigfoot has credibility because theres literally thousands of sightings from credible witnesses combined with physical and audio evidence with tracks, vocalizations, stool, the PGF film, and hair. We can also find numerous writeups in historical newspapers dating back all the way to the 1800s about wildmen and "hairyman" and stories past down native American and Canadian groups. If dogman was real, common sense tells us that they would have been seen by people in the past and documented in papers just like with sasquatch. But the fact of the matter is dogman is a new phenomenon that only really came about in the 90s with the bray rd sightings. Before that, there's really nothing besides the typical werewolf stories.
It also could have been a skin walker which can take on many shapes and forms and they typically will try to coax you to come towards them and follow them. If you do start to go towards them and then stop they usually get impatient and will drop to the ground and start a very fast creepy Crawley pace across the ground. And they can appear as an injured person needing help or any kind of animal. Be very very careful when you come across this type of situation in the wilderness.
Skin walkers are in the western part of the US. Canada n Mn have wendigo. I think it's a dogman. Fellow Minnesota resident. Both my daughters saw dogman at different times n locations near Duluth.
MN is ancestral Native American land - with lots of Indian mounds and sacred lands. This sounds like skinwalkers or protective spirits. You should look into the historical background of this land and connect with some native elders for advice and support!. I’d also be offering tobacco & smudging.
I grew up there in the seventies. About 3 miles from the Sunrise campground on the Minnesota side on a farm. We had woods on our property and was less than a mile from the river. Two times I was stopped in my tracks as I entered the woods due to overwhelming fear of immediate danger from an unknown entity. I ran home confused about what happened. I all but forgot about it until I started reading reports in the area on the Internet years later. Also a lot of people describe the exact same feeling prior to an encounter. So I can't help but feel that I avoided an encounter with a sasquatch by listening to my feelings twice in that valley. Also I had a dream when I was a preschooler that while in the woods with my dad a male and female adult sasquatch were watching as they looked over some bushes. I think it was dream.
Captivating and frightening from start to finish. It sounds like there’s some kind of strange energy around those mounds. It’s a shame the family can’t enjoy their land without those kind of strange occurrences happening. Whatever’s there does not seem to want them there.
Went hiking w husband & 3 small dogs near Redstone Arsenal AL, along southeast area in the undeveloped region. Halfway in came across huge hoof prints and large 6” wide paws in the red clay (had claws, one lobe mark- diff from a Florida puma). Something was recently hunting large deer back there; it weighed much heavier than me! My husband walked ahead w our rat terrier but I hung back and followed the two sets of animal prints about 200yds, twisting and zigzagging about, it was fascinating. Def large canine-like paw prints, larger than a loosely closed fist. I looked around and realized the prints were fresh, from that early morning. No birds were tweeting in that area, no frog noises, weird. My hair on my neck was raised, arm hairs were prickly, an uneasy feeling came over me at 15:30 midday. I looked around and caught up with my husband (who was listening to a podcast debate, hiking deeper away from the main path, totally clueless of the silent area, no crickets or birds tweeting). Nope!! It was time to go back to the car. I told him I was taking all the dogs home. He argued but I turned around and immediately left him there. I’m built like a female Viking and a swarthy 178lbs, strong (I rowed crew, weight lifted in college) while my husband is a lab scientist and built like a dancer at 155lbs. Hubby and dogs would be a snack, I would be a great dinner if hunted and eaten 😨 Enroute, I came across a weird nest-thing on a different route back and noted it might be a deer stand (or a huge resting platform) in the heavy swampy area. Further creeped out now, I power-walked thru knee-deep icy rainwater, the sun was sinking fast as sunset is earlier in December. My recently bought New Balance running shoes were covered in red clay (I really dislike clay-stained shoes), no matter! I could almost see the parking area way up 1/2 mile away and had my twin weenie dogs, one on each hip. The dachshund dogs are whining now and uneasy, squirmy. Our spicy rat terrier was itching to escape his leash and run the way we just were, he’s a fearless idiot. Husband was afraid of water moccasins but I silently ignored him, snakes be damned. Relief flooded over me as we peeled off our frozen wet socks, shoes and toweled dry the dogs. Never again will I go in that area, not many people have hiked back there. The two other couples had large dogs pass by, their pets were acting squirrely. Nope. No way. Creepy area. 😮

St Paul MN here!!! I'm ready to hear this!!! By the way, as a kid going up to the cabin in Mn every summer, I had encounters with them, but I didn't know what it was until now, in my 60s. Great program!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
When I was about 10 to 13 years old I would go up north in MN to the cabin with my grandparents and siblings. There was only about 5 cabins and the owners year round home on our side of the lake back then. I used to spend hours walking on the dirt road to the main road that goes around part of the lake and then on into town. I was looking for agates. My encounter was always the same. I would be walking along untill I was exactly between two electric / telephone poles. It always started when I was between two poles, right in the middle, the poles would be on my left as I headed toward the main road, which also was gravel road. Anyway, when I was exactly between, the wires would make a really loud humming noise, like ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, which seemed to get louder and kind of hypnotized me. ( Sounded kinda like a million cicadas) So I would stop and stare at the lines and then always over my left shoulder and behind me I would hear 3 distinct knocks, evenly spaced apart and when I would turn to look I would see nothing. Now where the knocks came from there was a treeline which had to be 1/2 a mile away because the land was all farm fields and a little house way by the treeline. I couldn't see anything move in the fields , the house or the tree line. I wasn't afraid. This went on for a couple years until I was about 13. By this time my parents bought a newly built cabin next to my grandparents. And everytime I went off by myself on the dirt road it always played out the same way. I would be between 2 telephone/electric poles, the wires would start making that Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz noise, I hear the 3 knocks, turn around and see no activity. One time I asked my dad, who worked for the phone company and climbed those poles why it would make this noise. He told me there was a power surge in the lines from people drawing more power in the cabins. But most of the time the other cabins were empty. And this was late 60s early 70s, we didn't have air conditioning, computers nothing. Just light bulbs we didn't dare use during the day and a fridge. Then I asked him about the knocks and he said it was a woodpecker. But how does it peck in a pattern and only 3 times? The last time I went rock hunting alone I was about 13. Everything happened exactly like it had those past few years except this time I felt such fear I can't explain. I was almost to the main road and I could see my dad out on the lake fishing but I knew he wouldn't be able to save me. Everything in me said RUN 🏃♂️ . I ran back to the cabin at full speed, praying the whole time God please let me get back. I had to run about a mile and a half to get back. I never went by myself again. That feeling of fear was so overwhelming. A few years ago I was researching bigfoot and learned about the 3 knocks, that sound like 2 pieces of lumber knocked against each other. And thats what it sounded like. Anyway hope you enjoyed my story. 😀
I live in St Paul MN. I have an old boss who retired from working at the VA-Mpls and is now a gunsmith in Taylor's Falls. He lives out in the countryside. I should send him this video to see what he knows. He has a few horses. Weird stuff going on here in Minnesota. On the Sasquatch Theory channel a fellow from South Minneapolis says he's seen them close to the area below Ft Snelling where the Minnesota & Mississippi River come together, as well in a forest area across from St Thomas University on the Mississippi River--that's between the 2 largest cities in Minnesota.

I wish I knew who this guy was so I could talk to him about what I’ve experienced in the same area
Tell us your experiences! So facinating. I believe in all this yet have never seen anything myself and I've been to so many places all over the world where people have had sightings...maybe I'm just not a chosen one.
I was riding with my buddy driving slowly along the road that borders a small grassy airport in Northern Wisconsin. He looked over through my window and said" look at that",it was standing on the opposite side of the runway about 100 yards away. He said it was a horse . I said ," stop the truck" , it was a wolf! This thing was atleast 48 "s to the top of his spine ! He stood there and stared at us the entire time. Unbelievably creepy. So, the DNR wont admit that giant Canadian wolves have now inhabited Northern Wisconsin.
At the start of the video Chris explains that while their having a conversation Chris would show images of one of his own winter hikes. So no, he never said the footage was from Minnesota, he said it's private videos as a backdrop for the conversation.
I'm in the Arrowhead in northern minnesota , Boundary Waters and I know a trapper who was out on a long wilderness road near Isabella last summer when a large round grey thing came flying straight out of the trees about 8' in the air and landed on the road right in front of his truck . He thought it was a wasp's nest that had blown out of a tree in the wind , stopped his truck , got out and realized it was a calm summer day , no wind so he went to pick it up and get it off the road and saw it was a super heavy granite boulder that he could barely lift so he rolled it off with his foot , walked into the trees and said " what am I doin ?" He got a spooky feeling and hurried back to the truck . This is a big guy , super minnesotan who hunts , traps , not scared of anything , grew up in the woods , french trapper family . Said he was really shook up for a week and finally said to himself , " Ok , they live here too . " 😮
The story of the dark figure beckoning gave me the chills in a big way. I heard a similar story from a boyhood friend of mine many decades ago. He described the same thing happening to him, and he had the same visceral response to run and hide. He described the figure as impossibly tall and thin. He steadfastly refused to ever step foot in the woods again. I mentioned it to my grandfather at the time, and he thought it was probably a Wendigo. Absolutely gives me the creeps.
Oh my gosh...his son felt a fear which wasn't natural to him being a friendly boy and now to sense he had to drop ? Wow..his gut feeling was real...yes the primal fear...you know exactly at that moment what to do ... poor kid...what an interesting interview Chris !
I loved listening to this nice guys conversation about the woods and the wildlife. I especially liked it because it was clean and decent with no foul language. Great job Chris. Well done.✔️ Very interesting! God bless you guys.
My son works under powerlines in Wisconsin and Minnesota I had a girl send me a pic she was trying to say was a were wolf. My sons been a bear guide and dog trainer for over 20 yrs said that huge dog thing was a wolf with mange. Hes never told me any wild stories but I've seen a pic on his property of huge black wild cat about 60 lbs and had 6 babies. I love big foot stories heard wild sounds of coyotes and wild cats.
I’ve seen a dogman. But, there can be all sorts of experimental chimeras running amok. The DM smells like sulfur, wet dog - even in winter- and urine. So use your nose and follow your gut instinct. Also, these are higher dimensional beings, so they move so fast we don’t see them unless they are hunting.
I had a couple rent my cabin in Colorado a few years ago. The guy told me he had seen what looked like a really large dog with no head in the woods in Wyoming. I said nothing surprises me anymore.
I am from Taylor’s falls, I grew up there. I still live in the area, I have heard and seen the same things. I have MANY of the same stories. Please feel free to contact me. This is real. I don’t know what it is, but it is 100% real.
OMG. Be careful! There are aggressive entities all over the place! Cola drinking liz folk in the river and caves, Wendi (go) friends who will slit you a new smile faster than you can say crap, dogmen, Sasquatch and a variety of mythical ‘folks’. Of course, they are everywhere, but you definitely don’t want to be out exploring at night. Something will play a telepathic mind game and compel you to share a snack.
It doesn’t matter if people believe you or not. You know what you heard or saw or encountered and so does your kids. It’s hilarious to me how people try to write it off as you or whomever is just strange or weird or lying. To be honest, I think it’s strange how people think they have the World figured out. Most of them haven’t been anywhere in their entire lives, yet still, it’s impossible to them to conceive of the possibility of an undiscovered animal or creature, unless science has its stamp of approval! Ridiculous! Thank you for a great video and we enjoyed your guest.
Love your comments, people go on like we already know everything. The sooner we realise we've still got so much left to learn, the sooner we will be open to fantastic possibilities.

I have been thinking this about other properties too.
I know where you are talking it's far to populated for anything to live their odd n not be photographed. Pretty sure u seen Jan Arthur flueghoff. That man could appear out of no where. Sposedly he is dead now but no one can find a death record.
You ever go check out the Ojibwa cemetery to the north of Chetek where they did battle with the sioux?
Well, that debunks my theory that it's a guvment operation to keep people out of sensitive areas.
Kim

Sounds like you seen Goat man. I'm Ojibwe/Menominee and it was seen every where.
This man is incredibly honest and down to earth, not to mention self-deprecating and fun! I absolutely believe every word he says!

I live in Osceola. I can absolutely believe it. Lots of wild country out here.
Can you share your experience? TIA. Kim

Yikes!!!!

I loved his own story. Fascinating! BTW, the branch arbor and subsequently large footprints around 14:11 were interesting!
LOVE the way this man tells his story. Very simple and “this is the way it was” type factual. Not sensational, or built up, or anything like that. Very believable. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This is how the average Wisconsin or Minnesota guy sounds. I'm from WI and this man sounds level headed and solid.

WI here too, these types make me believe more than the ones that sound crazy or too knowledgeable .
I remember watching a program on television called “Terror in the Woods”. It had a segment about Dogman in Siren, Wisconsin.
YIKES!!! The idea of Dogmen scares the shite out of me!
Did it argue with the ring doorbell “? Lol hey man them strays are crazy out there.
That’s incredible!
Stay safe!
So, you did not take part of the caller's experience and made it your own... 😮😮😮

It’s not B/S in any way I’m 52 years old I don’t make up stories.

There are a number of cryptid groups in MN. So many ppl have had experiences.

Her and her friend were driving on the highway when they saw something on two legs crossing the road in front of them. Yes they are in the area. I think they like the river.
From my own experience - not only can they sound like air-raid sirens BUT they can replicate the sound of birds, coyotes, crashing trees - thx for the entertaining interview

Hey my friend, thanks for the video and be safe out there.

Cheers.

Let us know if you find anything.

You should set up a bunch of trailcams facing those mounds,I bet you get light phenomena if nothing else.

@@reasonwarriorThanks for sharing your encounters. I'm in Northwestern Ontario, how far from the Canadian border are you?
@@charlottebelieves285About 5 hours.
@@charlottebelieves285Approx 280 miles or 5 hours drive.
Good story and cheers from Minnesota!
Hi! From northern Minnesota also!

Whoopi, a double feature week with Base Camp Chris! Thanks Chris for your efforts. We appreciate you friend.
He mentioned it was like a Werewolf sound, his son mentioned it was tall & skinny.. Maybe Dogman??
Dog men are scary?!?
I heard something Very Large, bipedal, walk near a covert camp I had, December, along Minnesota river, near Carver. Not a hunter. It was 3am.
I'm a fan! I get excited every week for new stories! You never disappoint! Thanks again!
MN is ancestral Native American land - with lots of Indian mounds and sacred lands. This sounds like skinwalkers or protective spirits. You should look into the historical background of this land and connect with some native elders for advice and support!. I’d also be offering tobacco & smudging.
That is what I also concluded.
I would like to hear more of his experiences. Very interesting.

Thank you, Aaron and Chris, for the great encounters!
It probably wasn’t a dream. All the higher D entities like under 5 lamb chops best. (A few of them mentioned it telepathically.)
I do wish that parents would listen to their children .
Captivating and frightening from start to finish. It sounds like there’s some kind of strange energy around those mounds. It’s a shame the family can’t enjoy their land without those kind of strange occurrences happening. Whatever’s there does not seem to want them there.
It is gaurding something, likely an ancient burial mound. It definitely doesn't want anyone to be there
Went hiking w husband & 3 small dogs near Redstone Arsenal AL, along southeast area in the undeveloped region.
Hubby and dogs would be a snack, I would be a great dinner if hunted and eaten 😨
Enroute, I came across a weird nest-thing on a different route back and noted it might be a deer stand (or a huge resting platform) in the heavy swampy area.
Always follow your instincts, the world around you will give you all the information you need, you just gotta know how to listen.

Can you share your stories? 😊 Kim
The Beast of Bray rd in Wisconsin is real and scary as hell!!!
Google said a DM was seen at Ft.Snelling. 😮.
@@stevengoracke7644 sorry to sound ignorant but what is a DM in this context?
@@Toms_Bright_Ideas A DM is a telepathic, dogman chimera govt experiment super soldier type hybrid entity. They smell like sulfur, wet dog , (even in winter) and urine. I have one stalking me up near Duluth. I finally got tired of it and made a dreamcatcher. But, some will argue it's not Christian. Oh well. Last thing he dis was mark a six foot long, three inch wide stain on my driveway, just to know how he felt about that. And, he was playing mind games with my young son for a while. My boy felt like he was being compelled to look out the window at a shape and then had bad dreams. It stopped when I told him to realize dogs don't stand up, so understand it's a dream and imagine the DM doing something funny at a circus and being laughed at. Because predators can't stand it.

And for most people that’s not that too far from other little town a little ways from Lake Superior, there’s millions of acres of forest and lakes
