Right? WTH is up with zero drapes-and blackout drapes at that! You don’t need to be some sort of beacon in the dead-of-night by having a lamp on, and frilly curtains. And, yeah, a sliding glass door for a bear or….whatever…to explode through? No thanks! And NO, I DON’T want an OUTDOOR shower-pffff!!!

I have lived in southern oregon for almost 5 decades. My husband and i know the forest service roads better than roads in the city limits. We have been camping in the same primitive campground in the woods for 2 decades. We know the sounds of our native wildlife. One year we were having a small family camping trip. Two households and 7 dogs with us. One evening after dinner we heard what sounded like a tree falling. Then we heard the weirdest and scariest sounding animal call we have ever heard. It soubded like a mixture of growl, hoot, and scream. It sounded really close to camp. Then we heard the same call replying back, maybe from a mile or two away. The dogs all immediately tucked tail and hid in our sleeping bags and wouldn't come out of the tent until morning. Lets say, we really didnt get any sleep that night. And we left the next day, which was a day early. We have never heard that sound again. Took almost 4 decades of being in the woods to experience something like that.

Over by Bonanza, Oregon, east of Klamath Falls, the ‘forest people’ are commonly known. My 2nd & 3rd sightings were near Bly Mountain. If I had sliding glass doors on a remote cabin, I’d want iron bars installed so it could be secured from bears and a deterrent for the Sasquatch. JMHO.

Now I live in western PA. I have seen them on the Chestnut Ridge. They are the most evolved primates. Yahuah took the mud of the earth(Sasquatch) and spit into it, and then breathed life into it(homo sapiens sapiens). I have witnessed 7 times in my life these creatures, the first time on Manitoulin Island, Canada when I was 14. If you search for them, make sure you bring apples.

    Born and raised near there.
I hunted that area in between the Coast and Grants Pass, Medford, Ashland, for near 30 years. Camping, hunting, fishing, backpacking 🎒, sleeping without a tent, no problems, usually a deer, which is Blacktail, not big deer with it's stomach ate out is definitely Black Bear, they always go for the gut pile first. I hunted with probably 20 to 25 loggers who worked logging in those mountain's and no one including me ever seen a Big Foot. Not saying it's BS, but I have relatives that say they seen them! One thing in common, is when they described the smell! Who knows the truth? The Shadow Knows!!! 😮 You tell great stories! 👍 I especially enjoyed this one Sir! 😊 Thanks

I live near Ashland. I've rode my motorcycle all over the hills behind Mt Ashland, on down into northern California, Condrey Mountain area. This is west of I-5. To the east of I-5 is that national monument area you spoke of. Because of that monument, the riding isn't as good on that side. We have explored over there though. Done a lot of camping here in Oregon as well. I have never had any encounters with a squatch. After listening to many of your stories, I think that makes me the lucky one. We just recently saw a couple of cougars crossing the road. We were about 60 yards away. They're magnificent and beautiful in person.

We live in a hunting cabin turned full time home, in the woods, by a river. From time to time there has been a cougar roaming through our woods following the river. Our daughter found the remains of a deer on one of her hikes
in the woods with its belly ripped open. Thankfully we didn't hear the attack. Those poor dogs must have been traumatized. His daughter was brave and Im so glad she and the children and the dogs got out safely.

Once again a great story and very well done by Chris…appreciated the whole episode Chris…Will try that beer also lol…I live in Oregon more north than where this story happened…definitely hear stories from people especially loggers who worked in the forests both past and present…one thing for sure is we do have big foot sightings in the state…a lot more than are ever past on to others from these people…thanks again Chris…😊
