Thanks for tuning into this fly fishing game changer video! Thoughts?
He has a few videos on this subject but you can also feel free to contact the shop and they will be happy to help.
Like a lot of guys I learned to tie by reading books , so many good ones out there . Charlie Craven , John Barr , Gary La Fontaine ,AK best ,Borger , Kaufmann , Stalcup , Dorsey , Whitlock , The Fly Tiers Benchside Reference ,and , and the list goes on and on . The one thing that has really been the game changer is the internet google any fly and there will be a tutorial on it with a list of materials and a video . I guess you could call it the future. :-)
I still like using a floating line using poppers for bass and dry flies for trout are fun even chubs are fun to catch on a a dry fly and panfish too!
@Mad River Outfitters Man, my question is where do i get some of those super FLY ass shirts youre always rocking in the vids, bud?!?! For real though?!?!

Thanks a ton. Stay tuned.
This has been my go to channel to learn how to fly fish I watched one video 11 months ago and I was hooked thanks for all the tips and instructions but most of all the inspiration to this 47 year old (46 when I started watching) to give fly fishing a try
Glad you are here and please stay tuned!
How appropriate! My wife got me Modern Streamers for Trophy Trout on Valentine's day. Just finished reading it. I applied the jerk and strip retrieve on my local creek this morning before work and caught 1 Brown and missed a couple more in 30 minutes. I am hooked!
Game changing. As stated. Thanks for being here.
This series is by far one of my favorites. Keep up the amazing content
Thanks so much for watching. Stay tuned....much more to come.
I'll be adding this to my flyfishing library!! Would love to Brian and Kelly on the Bonefish trip.............
Thanks! They'd love to have you along. Should be an announcement soon.
As always brilliant video. A question, as a new fly fisher would it be possible to use the streamers mentioned with a 6wt rod set up? If so what X leader would you recommend?

Thanks for watching. Send those questions over to the shop at admin@madriveroutfitters.com and they will be happy to help.
Love Kelly’s streamer patterns very innovative :-)
Agreed!
I just got the feather Benders new Fly Tying book,by Barry Ord Clarke. It's a phenomenal book with a lot of beautiful pictures to on fly tying techniques
Hey! I'm still waiting for your book "End of the line" !!! Any word on that yet? Sounds like a book I really need!
You'd have to contact Brian directly at the shop. We don't have that info but he should.
Do you recommend buying the first modern streamers book or should I just buy the newest edition?
Best if you can read them both. The first really lays the foundation.
Mad River Outfitters makes sense. Will be buying first book soon. Thanks for responding. LOVE your videos!
The two people I learned the most from are Brian and Kelly Galloup’s UA-cam Videos.
Thanks for watching.
Hey, I got a job in a fly fishing store. How much should I know going into it?
As much as you can? Not sure we know how to answer this question.
Are these more about tying formulas, or fishing strategies ?
Ronald Fisher All three and more.
Nice video Brian 👍🎣
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for being here.
Hope to find similar books also here in Italy
Serfish Or find them on our website?
I bet Anyone could just stand between Brian and Kelly for a one day trip..not even fish, and come away a so Much better fisherman. Ok I’m gonna want to fish too, as long as I’m dreaming! Two of the very best ever. Thanks you guys! 🎣
Charlie Boutin Join them in Montana? Or the Bahamas? Next January in Brazil?
I’m going to say Yes to all three! Now I gotta go tell my wife! 😬😂 Y’all are awesome..Thanks so much for making me a much better Flyfisherman. 👍👍
Assuming these trophy trout are in North America, why are Brown trout on both covers?
Because that's what we fish for. All trophies are brown trout.
Maybe it’s because I’m a purist but trophy brown trout sounds disgusting, why not go for native species like brooks, rainbows or cutthroat?
