As a mom who lost her 18 year old daughter because of someone's speed and wreck less driving...lock her up and throw away the key. It's nothing compared to the grief and misery she put on the families and friends.
I can empathize. I'm no parent, but I have still lost someone to a car accident, though nobody was truly at fault in that case. One morning about 30 minutes after I'd woken up I overheard my mom on the phone with my aunt, and my aunt asked my mom if we knew someone (we did, his mom used to babysit me as a kid, which is how I first became friends with him and how I knew his older sister), and when my mom confirmed as much, my aunt broke the news. He'd been killed in a horrific car crash that claimed three lives and left three others (all young children) seriously injured. From what I understand about what happened, he was driving home, from the hospital of all places (a co-worker drove him there earlier in the day over health concerns while he was at work), when he most likely suffered a seizure behind the wheel and struck another vehicle head-on, resulting in him being ejected from his vehicle (despite wearing a seat belt), and instantly killing the two people sitting in the front of the other vehicle. He would succumb to his injuries at the hospital the following morning. The worst part however was that the other two people killed in the crash were the parents of four children, the youngest three of which were all seriously injured in the crash. It still breaks my heart imagining the living nightmare it must have been for the other families' oldest child to learn that all in one night they had lost both of their parents and all of their younger siblings were seriously injured. And then to make things even worse, the local news stations tried to paint my friend as being the one at fault by claiming that he had been drunk or high on drugs, with no thought for the fact that his parents had just lost a son and his sister had just lost her little brother. Sure, I may not know the pain of losing a child, something that nobody should ever have to go through, but I *do* know how it feels to lose someone suddenly and unexpectedly....and that's not even the first time I've lost a friend like that. The first time it happened I was only 13 years old. The summer before that school year started my best friend (who was more like a brother to me than a friend) moved away with his family and despite my best efforts we lost contact with each other (I haven't seen or spoken to him in almost 20 years now), and that naturally hit me pretty hard. But then I meet a new kid once I get back to school and we just hit it off and I think that maybe I've found someone who could help to fill part of the void left by my best friend's absence. And then, one morning as my mom is driving me to school, she overhears something on the radio news and brings it to my attention, as they were talking about a student at my school who had died. I'm still haunted by my response to this day: "It's not going to be anyone I know.". ....As you might have guessed, I was wrong. It was my new friend. He'd been with another friend of his (a 10th grader at the same school) when that friend found a stolen handgun laying on the ground, and in the process of trying to unload the weapon, it discharged and struck my new friend in the head, killing him instantly. Just like that. He was perfectly fine one day, and the next, he was just....gone. I spent that entire school day crying my eyes out, and even once I got off the school bus to go home I was still crying. And when I walked in the front door, my dad was waiting for me (likely suspecting that I had been bullied....again), and when I told him what had happened, he just hugged me and held me until I had no more tears left to shed.

Devastating for this family. My heart breaks for them and I will pray for them. Breaking the law has consequences and she must be held accountable.
Same thing happened to me, I was the first at the accident between a Honda accord & an 18 wheeler, a brother and sister passed away after crossing the medium. My father later that night said him and his coworker heard it on the radio they bother prayed for the parents, only to find out later my father’s coworker was the father of 2 amazing children.
His son was graduating at the top of his class and his sister wasn’t going to be able to be there because of college so he drive up to pick her up as a surprise for their parents. I’ll never unsee them in my head and I still feel that loss. The truck driver lost it couldn’t stop crying.

Oh my! One of the most touching comments coming out of this horrible incident.
Killled six people. Destroyed more lives. Gross negligence. Life in prison! No pity
Can't believe she survived that and already released from the hospital. She knew what she was doing. People said she was fighting with her boyfriend but how TF do they know that unless he or she told someone in an interview.
She should get enough years for all the people she killed she never gets out of prison.
Some folks are psychic I guess gotta remember ALOT of people are getting themselves involved into SPIRITUALITY taping into frequencys unlocking an tapping into extra SENSE from certain part of the brain that would enable THEM to read thoughts not only and also make contact with the SPIRITS IT'S WHAT FREEMASONRY IS KNOWN FOR....it's dangerous because people who mess with that can get there BODIES TAKEN POSSESSION OF
The News put that out as Soon as it happen , come to find out she was in the car by herself. This is so sad on all levels 😢
Well it's common to blame men, especially for a certain group of women who never did anything
She was just sitting on the curb nonchalantly talking to a nurse at the scene looking around like she was thinking, Did I do that? While all those killed and injured nearby. This was murder. As an MD she did not look confused as someone commented here.
@@denisesmith6885 OMG I finally see that today she only scratched her arm in that wreck. They said she has had 13 wrecks in the past and the one before this she also cause injuries to the other people. How does she even have a license after all that. That chic is a road hazard
That nurse was driving faster on busy surface roads than I drive on the highway. This wasn't your typical speeding 40 in a 30 zone. She knew exactly how dangerous her actions were. I have a relative who lives about 10 minutes from that intersection... and if she happened to be hurt in a crash like this, I would want the highest penalty. You have to be empathetic to the victims and put yourself in their situation.
my sincere condolence to all of the victim families.
Hold her accountable. Per her in prison for the rest of her life.
This isn't gross negligence. This is willful and wanton behavior. You can't drive 100+mph in that kind of area and not know something like that would happen
It was a mass murder. I don't see any reason to go that fast on a city street. Maybe she'll do some good helping in a prison.
What happened to the nurse? Why was she speeding? Did she pass out? Was she drugged up? So many questions as to why she didn't even try to stop!!! So sad for all involved....🙏❤️
She had her arm out the window (possibly filming herself)...she knew exactly what she was doing...and was attempting to kill herself. I'm glad the dummy didn't get the easy way out and now has to spend the rest of her life in prison.
Before this she had a fight with her boyfriend and was drinking

Could be charged? Wtf!! Charge its ass now!!!!!
Put this lady in prison and throw away the key!!
So sorry for their loved ones. 🥺🌹
My prayers go out to the victims and families affected by this, one death is too many for something avoidable like this. I hope the lady gets the maximum penalty for her actions.
How'd she make coming down that curve at 100 mph?! Damn!
That’s a hill you don’t wanna be flying down for sure. I try to avoid driving down it if I can as my sister and nephew nearly died in that same intersection when the brakes failed on her car and they coasted into the middle of La Brea and Slauson and got slammed from both directions of traffic and knocked into one of the gas stations. It ain’t no joke and definitely NOT a hill you want to drive fast and furious on.
She has experience in driving like a mania
Life without parole, she should never walk the street again
That’s murder the way she was driving. That’s ridiculous..
I've been praying for all the families to have strength to get through this horrible tragedy and hope they find a way to heal from this. They prayed for people they didn't even know just to find out it was their own loved ones. Absolutely heartbreaking to watch them hurt like this. Lives taken so soon rest in peace angels
Sending my condolences to all of the families . I hope they get justice for their loved ones . That speeding demon needs to spend the rest of her life in jail .
Unfortunately she won’t get more than 10-15 years and she will probably serve 5-8 years and then the parole board will release her . Statistics show women that get charged with vehicular manslaughter get a slap on the hand on imprisonment sentences .
Maybe because she was driving 100mph that she felt invincible because Mercedes are safe in car crashes but forgetting to think about other people

Why was the at fault drivers hand out the window has she crashed ? I’ve heard she was filming it , I’ve heard she was flipping people off - what is it ? I had to slow the video down but can see her hand out.
Yes she did indeed have her arm raised out the window right before impact, I saw that too!
I heard she was recording it
Yes she did if you look at the still photos of her car you can actually see her with the phone. I believe she was on facetime with the fella that dumped her. Can't wait to hear his story.

Why was she driving so fast, what was the rush that killed so many???
She’s a nurse? So what, that doesn’t make her any better then anyone else. What she did was horrifying.

What does her being a nurse have to do with anything? Nursing is a JOB. That's it. Nothing more nothing less.
@@blueviolets2106 you are correct. But a nurse has a certain level of compassion that most other people don’t that’s why there’s not so many of them. I would think somebody who had compassion and helped other people would not do something like that unless she really had some problems going on.
