Shining Force II - The best game of my childhood. Better playability in many of these games compared to games nowadays. Terrible graphics obviously but many hours of fun!
Was great to see Chiki Chiki Boys on there, I completely forgot about that game. Some great choices up there. Here are a few other of my favourites that weren't on the list.

When I see the above missing, and yet there's space here for Tiny Toon Adventures, MK1 (which was naff on most home consoles, I'm sorry MK fans) and Toki, it's a real shame...
Comix Zone is far better than 78 as well.

If there were only 100 games on the Mega Drive I'd agree Altered Beast should be on this list, weighing in at a cool 100.
Right? I got that game bundled with my MD and I absolutely hated it but couldn't afford another game for 6 months.

These ratings really surprised me. I swear, I'd rather play TMNT Hyperstone Heist than most of the games on this list.

@@donkeyparadise9276 not that I don't like them. Some I've never played and others I enjoy, but prefer Hyperstone to them by far.
Me too, they're very strange, though I get its personal choice. There's no way in a million years I'd have Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine and Altered Beast higher than MK2 or Ranger X, for example, and I've not even seen the rest of the list.
Also, sorry, but no way is Urban Strike better than either Desert or Jungle Strike. It added very little to the series. I quite liked Soviet Strike on the Saturn and PSX.
Batman Forever was missed in this list, that was one of the all time favorites.

Lol, there was time in my life i was not trusting 16 bit games anymore by only looking at the cover.
Yeah me too, I remember getting the genny with joe Montana football & sonic 2.
My people didn’t want to buy me no games. And they finally broke down and said ok.
We went to Woolworth.
Me not having no game magazine or experience with game media. Saw a shelf full of games and had to daunting choice of choosing one.
The collect cover i ever seen had me wondering this might be amazing.
It was wardner…..to my surprise when i got home and loaded the cart and powered on.
It was nothing like I imagined and i was stuck with it. So i played it all the time trying to beat it. In the most miserable state of being.
It was hard and it had it’s charm. But it was not what i was expecting from that dope cover art and having only chance at a game.
I never asked my mother to buy me a game ever again..i felt like i had wasted her money.
I traded and barrowed games at school
From then on and learned covers are misleading. Never care about a games cover.

As someone who didn‘t own a Sega console at all back then, these games look all way to much like arcade games. Just a few seem to have a much depth. No hate because i came here to appreciate older sega consoles and consider if i should get into sega retro gaming but there are just a handful of games i am interested in. Or is this the wrong list?
Sega was indeed very arcade oriented. That and sports.

Huh it could be a good list but there are lots of game missing... and some positions are really scanadalous (just like SOR3 at position 82)
Yeah I totally agree. How can that be 82 and Altered Beast is higher than that, MK2, and Ranger X? SOR3 may not be the best in the series, but it's easily top 35. I'd have had either Gunstar Heroes or Super SF2 as number one myself.

La prochaine fois, tu devrais juste montrer la jaquette et passer au jeu suivant... ce que je veux dire c'est que c'aurait été beaucoup mieux d'avoir les 30 meilleurs jeux avec des extraits plus longs que 5 secondes des 100 meilleurs jeux.
No way yuyu hakusho was only in top 92 it was the best fighting game in the 90's if both player whos playing have high skill. For me its the top 1 game in sega.

Hmm, well I agreed with many of the lower games on the list, but I did take exception to quite a few others.
Sonic 3, S&K not as good as Golden Axe, Castle of Illusion? No way is Altered Beast better than MK2 or Ranger X, and Desert Strike has to be higher than the other two in the series.
Personally, I'd not have SF2 CE as number one. As great as it is, it's let down by duff audio on the MD, though it's remeemed by the awesome six-button pad, which was perfect for SF. Gunstar Heroes, Landstalker and Super SF2 are better games overall, for me. I'm glad you had Phantasy Star IV so high, but how could it be any other way?
But it's your opinion at the end of the day! Fair play for making the video anyway!

All these game are the same pretty much. Not one madden game made it? Evander Holyfield or greatest heavyweights probably the greatest boxing games ever not on this list? Or Warrior of room two. A great real time strategy game on the council for like the first time. And it was damn good unplayable today more so than those games.
