Keep up the Bloopers. It's nice to see we are all human. :)
I’m very human then. 🤣
I could watch this man talk about power washers for hours
I watch myself talk about them about 100 times when editing. I am sick of myself. LOL
Thanks for the review and discount code heads up.
Waited to upgrade till this was released, just ordered!!
Keep doing your thing!!!!
Appreciate that.
Thank you I’m trying to get together a system to wash my new baby a 2024 C8 Corvette, 37 days old
Nice! Once you get started the addiction improve the setup will never end. 🤣
For the algorithm, man that things a little beast congrats on your sweet 2.0 👌🏼
Thank You
As always, great video Keav! All of your subscribers are always excited to see new content from you. Keep it up!
Any estimated release date for the Active Shortgun? I need a better gun!
Thanks I am enjoying it so far.,
Good question I for sure would test it out.
Best bang for your buck right here! Great review brotha! If I ever upgrade, this will be it 💯
Not “if”, but “when” 😂
finally! the moment I've been waiting for to bad I already bought my Ar630 back in May no way I could wait this long for release.
If I had the money I would buy the AR630 too. This garage is costing way more than I thought. 😂
I can't wait to get mine 🤘🏻. Great review 💯
You will love. Like I mentioned before any help on the setup hit me up.
This was a highly anticipated video and you did not disappoint Keav. Keep up the great work. For your upcoming comparison video, if possible, I'd like to see you use a 3.0 orifice and 1.1mm for the foam cannon and both units. That would be interesting to see. Looking forward to the comparison video.
I would try it, but a 3.0 would go past 15 amps and a 1.1 would for sure overload the circuit. I was getting 15 AMPs with just the 1.25
Been eyeballing that 2.0 for a while. lol great out takes makes me laugh everytime :D
It helps me get through the boring editing process. LOL
Thanks for the review! Pulled the trigger with your discount code.
Appreciate that!
Mine arrived Friday....FINALLY. I tried it out Sunday and it works great.👍 No problems at all. I used an MTM foam cannon that gave excellent foam.👌 I'm impressed.
So far, so good. Time will tell.
Yeah, we for sure are the one that will put the longevity to the test. I have been playing with quick trigger pulls constantly and the TSS just does its thing. I think it will last a long time.
Great video Keav!! I think a washing comparison between your Greenworks and the 2.0 would cool to see.
i'm running an MTM 4.0 for car washing. I tested each orifice size going up and down by .5 and the 4.0 i think is perfect. Right on the edge of hurting my hand if i kept it there long enough.
I did try the OG recommended 5.0 nozzle size as well, but I feel it didn't have enough pressure to knock off loose dirt/debris in my wheel wells.
I am not a fan of the 5.0 and also think I will be using a 4.0 with my custom nozzles. The stock 3.7 is good too.
Just ordered with your discount Thanks !!!!!
Hope you enjoy it.
I bought the 2.0, and I really like it. The 2 GPM makes for a better wash and a much better rinse compared to my old 1.2 GPM pressure washer. I'm using the supplied nozzles and getting slightly less than 1000 PSI. However, 1000 PSI feels like much more power because of the extra GPM - I don't feel the need to change nozzle size. I'm using the 1.25 orifice in my foam cannon and getting lots of foam. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this pressure washer to anyone.
Its a big difference moving from a 1.2 the flow will catch you off guard with how it feels coming out of the nozzle.
Great video!! Question…..What diameter garden hose/inlet water source should I use with the 2.0?? 5/8 in OR 3/4 in?? OR doesn’t it matter?? Thank you…Dr Bob
Does not matter a 5/8 hose can flow up to 24 gallons per minute. I prefer 5/8 as it’s weighs less and way more options. Some have issue with 3/4 because their flow and pressure can’t keep up with the larger diameter and it cause pulsing in the pressure washer.
Hi Keav,
What is your feeling on the optimal Nozzle Orifice size for the "Active 2.0" for Car washing as I want to settle on one size... stock 3.7, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 🤔
Thanks for your videos... some of the most informative and food for thought ones around 👍
Appreciate the kind words. I go with the 4.0 size all day. Great mix of PSI and GPM and it’s a common size most good nozzles come in.
“Shaving cream” 😂 the active 2.0 pressure washer is a great unit. Had the opportunity to use it on the daily driven’s washcast video.
It’s that sweet spot on performance and price.
Can’t wait until my Karcher takes a crap and I can get this one 😂. Might as well get it though so I won’t be out of one when it does go bad 😅. Great review!
I will come down there and put it out of its misery for you if you want. LOL
Bro just got mine today. This thing lives up to all the hype. She's a beast!
I'm running out of cars to wash.
That's awesome, glad you are enjoying it.
Is it good for doing business?
@@capricorn.engineering it does have a longer life than most out there at 200 hours, but for being used all day in a business I would still stick to a commercial unit that can be serviced. They are working on a commercial unit right now. Problem is most commercial will run you at least $700 and they usually run on 20 AMP breakers. So this is still an option, but make sure to buy two so you have a backup.
@@CarsWithKeav Thank you for answering. Would you say this is good for getting started or should I go ahead and get a commercial one? And which one do you recommend?
@@capricorn.engineering I think it depends on your budget. I think it’s great to start out if you need to build some capital first. AR630 or a Kranzle are the popular options that we know are reliable and easily serviceable.
What's the GPM and PSI when using a 2.5 and 3.0 orifice? In case someone is interested in using it for siding or driveway
I have not tried those as they state not to go below 3.5 as it will push the machine to high in the AMP range for the motor and could cause a 15 AMP breaker to trip.
Is this the model of the mjjc foam cannon that fits the active 2.0?
MJJC Foam Cannon PRO, 1/4 inch Quick Connector
Thanks
Yes, that will fit at the end of their wand and connect to most aftermarket spray guns as well.
thank you got one 👌
Awesome, hope you enjoy it.
Just used mine yesterday for the first time. Updated the hose, gun with the quick disconnects. Super impressed with this unit. The unit does seem to have to work really hard with the mtm foam cannon even with a 1.25 orfice. Produces awesome foam just a little worried about longevity of the motor. Is that normal in these units?
My MJJC with 1.25 feels the same and pushing close to 15 amps. I’m switching to a 1.35 or maybe even a 1.5 to see what happens.
@@CarsWithKeav awesome can’t say enough about the unit, it is awesome. Post a vid with your findings!
That citrus doesn’t foam very much anyways. I’m stoked that you got one! Good video, brother!
Its not the best at foaming for sure which is why I like to use it for testing.
@@CarsWithKeav that’s awesome, good idea, definitely cleans great, I use it
What pressure washer hose would recommend for a reel. My uberflex today bubble up on the hose. So now looking for a new hose
For a reel I prefer the more industrial braided hoses that are heavier. They roll up much nicer and more uniform. I am currently using this one on my cart setup and wall setup. amzn.to/3yPmCdN
The machine is very good, the only bad thing is that they released very few units for sale .... very good video Kevin .... Thanks for sharing
Hey Edgar, the tool only is the only one that is out of stock at the moment so the full-kit is still in stock. We're getting support on this product more than what we expected so we initially prepared for what we thought would suffice. We are also considering the factor that we're in the beginning of the journey of the Active 2.0 meaning we'd like to observe how it performs, how it holds up in the market. We are happy with the unit, and we're happy that a lot users are enjoying their units as well!
@@ACTIVEPRODUCTS I have seen that you are innovating and breaking paradigms that not everything that is expensive is the best, you offer us products at low cost and very good quality, and that makes the demand very great.... Congratulations and thanks for your response
They are still in stock on Active site at the moment. Hoping they stay in stock, but they VE52 sold out last year after everybody found out how good it was.
I like the Solo head on the Pressol!
I just use the one Solo head and use any bottle I can find. LOL
@@CarsWithKeav nothing wrong with that. I have 4 after watching your review. I really like them.
@@jonnathanmarcellus4456 I'm going to pickup a few more as I changing my wash process or at least experimenting with rinseless wash as a pre-rinse and the foam as the base for my mitt wash. Been speaking to Yvan Lacroix a lot in private messages and he is convincing me. I seen his ONR videos years ago, but his new company sent me some products to try so giving it a shot.
Just ordered with your code, 315.00. Thanks!
At least you got the taxes covered now. LOL
where did you get the tds meters that fit with the size of you pipes are they the size of a generic garden hose?
They are flow meters that measure GPM and how many gallons I use. One is for the DI water and the other for all water. Digi flow 6700 they are called. My CR Spotless DIW20 has a built in TDS meter though.
@@CarsWithKeav I use a spot free finish brand di pro 50 and wanted to have something like the cr spotless but for the inlet and outlet
Have you tried it with an aftermarket pressure hose? I just got mine. Will set it up today with 75' KobraJet. Really hoping I don't experience the surging issues. They are the only common complaint on an otherwise excellent unit.
Have been using a 50 foot 3/8 hose since I got it and no issues. It was designed to work with aftermarket ones. I don’t know if the extra 25 feet would cause an issue.
@@CarsWithKeav Thanks for the reply. I tried the 50 as well and it worked fine. Honestly, 50 is probably enough. And the shorter hose means less delay with on/off.
Hi, great review! The discount code doesn't work did it expire?
Only had a limit of 25 and we hit that pretty quick.
Are you still using this for your daily? I have a Ryobi 1800 and I’m itching to upgrade. My only real complaint with it, though, is the noise… and the annoying pressure valve that THUNKS when you release the trigger. It’s loud. Is this comparably loud?
Still using it and loving it. I had a Ryobi before and this makes less noise for sure and is a more uniform sound no clunks or anything like that.
@@CarsWithKeav In my Sunday UA-cam and coffee session, I discovered that the Active 2.3 is coming next year. Better all around and quieter. I’ll be waiting for sure. Love your content man. Thanks for the response.
@@DMCnME Appreciate that! Yeah, I am patiently waiting for one. Going to be more expensive, but should be worth it. I’m thinking it will be $499, but could be more.
2.3 coming out next spring
45.5 pounds
Don’t think 2.0 is good for automobile and around the house? That’s what I want. And not lugging an almost 50 pounder around!
I think 45 lbs. would be with the stand it can come in. The unit itself would not be that much. They are putting out a video tomorrow answering questions about it. I have seen no specs released in it yet to know actual numbers. Depends on around the house. If you are doing driveways I always suggest a gas one. If it’s just you siding and something’s here and there might suggest the Active VE52. It’s built more for moving it around with accessory storage.
I used my Active 2.0 a couple of times and it has a problem of staying stuck on about 30% of the time after I release the trigger on the sprayer. I may have to return it or exchange it if it continues to happen.
Stock setup or do you have any upgrades? Sufficient water goin in? Also check the nozzle for debris.
@@CarsWithKeav I just have the pressure washer tool only so I'm using a 30 ft Uberflex hose and after market gun. I have a quick connect on the pressure washer for the hose connection.
I have the same issue with mine.
Mine does the same. All I have to do is quickly squeeze the trigger again and it sets the TSS right.
My v1 does this
MJJC is like King Of Foam Cannon (in my opinion)
I agree, I'm hoping MTM comes out with something good soon. They have lost a hug amount of their market share.
@@CarsWithKeav could you please share your dilution ratio in this Video ? Thank you
@@mlabvn 10:1
@@CarsWithKeav thank you
I wouldn’t use bucket measurements to determine GPM.
I wouldn’t either if I hadn’t already weighed and verified it’s accuracy. Plus same exact bucket for every pressure washer I have reviewed so they are all on the same controlled test.
@@CarsWithKeav ahhh, ok. If you weighed and verified…👍🏼
@@orthodox1717 thx for the feedback though many do go by whatever is on the bucket or
Bottle without verifying. I have found many foam cannons have the wrong markings.
The only negative thing I can say about the active 2.0 or any other Electric pressure washers out there it is that they have a lifespan of 100 to 200 hours then they crap out… period .
Now that’s $350.00 wasted to me . Why you ask ? I have these electric pressure washers all of them.
But the AR blue 630TSS or spend more money and get the best of the best the Kranzle that are serviceable and can last you over 7 + years so far that I know of for facts.
So all in all do I want a pressure washer that only lasts 100 hours to 200 hours That I use every day or week ?
I understand active has nice pressure washers but for how long? That’s why I would spend The money and get the best & I don’t understand why no one ever says to their viewers that these electric pressure washers only last approximately 100 to 20O hrs lifespan And not serviceable after it dies out then you gotta buy a new one and then after that a new one and so on.
I mention the 100 and 200 hour in my review videos including this one. Totally understand your viewpoint and agree with a lot of it, but even I would still pick active as I’m building out this garage and need the money building up other things. It’s an upgrade path for me and after 200 hours I will have gotten my $350 worth and I can move on to the newest product out there. In order for the Kranzle to be worth it I have to run for 800 hours and maintenance kits do cost money as well plus most don’t want to have to check oil levels, etc. If I ran a detailing company I would for sure run a top of the line commercial unit which Active is working on. I wash twice a week that’s probably 1/2 hour of machine time. That’s 5 minutes of rinsing twice and maybe a minute for the foam cannon. I use no pressure when doing my final DI rinse. Say even an hour a week 2.0 should last 3 to 4 years at its 200 hour rating. Kranzle would have to last at least 12 years at that rate. I am planning on moving up to the AR blue since I now have a 20AMP circuit which would be another reason most would rather have a residential washer as most only have 15AMP in the garage. All your points are valid just we all have different viewpoints. Really appreciate the feedback.
@@CarsWithKeav my apologies 🙏.
I did not hear that I’m going to re-watch your video just for myself but I notice other UA-camrs don’t mention that but if you did, I apologize, I’m going to re-watch. Thank you for your reply. I’m going to subscribe to your channel as well Ty again
@@NikxBella No problem, thx for watching. I always like to hear others opinions on pressure washer. No need to apologize.
Nice pressure washer. For the price they should have a better gun. Don't like those big plastic cheap guns.
There is actually some import regulation or law that states the guns have to be that way. Can’t remember what it is also they make these for all over the world and the U.S. and England are the only countries that modify or upgrade. Everybody else seems to like the stock guns. 😂
Good info, you need to change your shirt. Obsessively Overpriced Garage is a joke.
LOL, I pre-ordered from them before I knew Active was going to do the same. I get a few things like the bottle proportioners from them so got the shirts to spread out the shipping. I like the logo and name more than anything. of course I foudn the proportioners in bulk now for 1/5 of the price for them.
Do all these adapters that you're showing come with the 2.0?
The two adapters to allow a different hose or shorten the spray gun do not come with it. There are links in the description for them.
@@CarsWithKeav thank you so much, I am addicted to your videos since I subscribed yesterday hahahaha 👍
@@CarsWithKeav will all these adapters you described below work with active VE52?
@@Admin-ie9hp Awesome, Thanks for watching.
@@Admin-ie9hp the connection on the 2.0 they switched to a 14mm so the one at the pressure washer is a 15mm. The VE52 should come with an adapter itself to convert to 14mm. If it doesn’t one of them is a good investment so all your equipment can work with any pressure washer.
Any other mashine can do the same job this is not best mashine out there
I can ride a bike instead of drive a car and get to the destination the same. Its the amount of time it takes to do the job that is important to me. More flow and my car gets washed faster. If any other machine can do the job then in your opinion what is the best machine out there?
@@CarsWithKeav u r definitely not a detailer
@@martinkostov6981 Your opinion on that means nothing to me, but you are entitled to it though. Thx for watching.
