Where Does This Door Go is a great album, not one filler track! Good artist gets major label push, gets money to make a great record, hires four producers, and delivers excellence. Sadly the breakthrough didn't happen, but we can enjoy the artifact that the music businesses enabled.

i bet ***** ! my first time seeing him perform was on the Arsenio Hall show. He performed Her Favorite Song and I was in love right away. I looked him up to check concert dates and he had just been in my city the week BEFORE the Arsenio show. Ugh!

Mayer Hawthorne is blue-eyed soul at its finest. This song is my current anthem. "Where Does This Door Go" is an excellent CD..I definitely favor the new style (though his previous retro stuff was cool). I wish him the utmost success.
I embarrassingly admit I first saw him on Live at Daryl's House....but I own everything hes got now....no matter what mood I'm in it just fits...just amazing.....especially his Mowtown inspired music like on "How do you do"....just genius

I tried to find it one more time yesterday but ended up giving up again and then I sent a message to my boyfriend. He found it RIGHT AWAY by only humming the melody on Google and thinking about it, I actually never tried that option because I was 100% sure my lyrics were right. I even said “It’s impossible, maybe it doesn’t even exist”.
