This reminds me of a poncho I crocheted at least 40 yrs ago. And I have been looking for a similar pattern. It's beautiful in pink. Can't wait to go pick out the yarn. Thanks for the pattern.
I'm happy you want to make this. Not entirely sure about a #4 for this. It will come out larger and heavier. Simply Soft does drape well, but it will not be nearly as flowy. Good luck!
This design is beautiful! I have the perfect yarn that I was looking to use to make something. Can't wait to make this and then in probably 2 or 3 other colors!
Thank you so much! I'm so happy that you like this design and have the perfect yarn for it. Yay! Thank you for watching and commenting. Have fun with this!
Thank you for a Beautiful pattern!! I left a photo of this pattern on your Instagram page that I created and added a little twist to the fringe with tiny flowers. I'm not sure if I like it with the flowers but I think just the right lady or younger girl will 🙂💖

And you are a great theater thank you for that , a make 2 of those and i love them, but a have a gustain can you make somethink like this with a sleeves like a ponco tuiniek or blouse because i dont no how to make a ponco blouse , because i dont no how too make sleeves, i hope you can help me thank you paula from the nederlands
Hi. Thank you so much for the nice comment. I don't have a poncho with sleeves but I have quite a lot of tops with sleeves if you want o look at my other tutorials. Click where it says Crazy Cool Crochet in the white space above.
Love this poncho❤️another design of yours that absolutely love and want to make😂this is a very beautiful design❤️I have a long list of your designs I want to make🤣😂every time I think I’m going to start a new project with you, you come out with another beautiful design. 😫😂🤣❤️🙏🏼✝️
I'm so glad you like this design. However, I do not sell finished products. I design and sell the patterns for crocheters to make here: www.etsy.com/shop/crazycoolcrochetus/
I'm so sorry for this late reply! I'm just today finding comments that I was notified of. I would try a chain of 120 for the size you require. I hope this helps and is not too late. Again, my apologies!
Somebody pointed that out a while back. This was my response: I'm looking at that other poncho now and comparing. The similarity is definitely there. There are other differences aside from the number of chains, but they are certainly similar. I don't follow that channel and hadn't heard of it. But I do recall seeing that video at some point. I deliberately don't follow other designers so as not to be influenced by others' designs. If you look through my videos my designs are pretty unique. This poncho is actually very similar to what my grandmother used to make. I assumed that's where I got the inspiration for this poncho. It was likely a combination of both that inspired my version.
Wow.. This is a copy of Bag-O-Days summer poncho whose video has been up for 2 years. The only difference is the number of chains between the doubles. I'm making hers now.

@@CrazyCoolCrochet I finished mine the other day. I didn't add the fringe though... I'm worried about catching the poncho on something without having to worry about fringe too lol. I wore it to church today. I've just started making shawls and ponchos this year. Do you have alot of issues with messing up crochet clothing? Just wondering because I know I'm going to catch on things and then what do you do.... Besides cry. 😢
@@1debra1962 For me the fringe is what makes this poncho pop. Without it, it would be kinda ho hum. As long as you like your finished product that's what matters. The open weave of the poncho is what might catch on things, but the fringe should be safe. I've got lots of really different ponchos here. Take a look around.
Yep, understood. I was using a new video editor and hadn't yet learned how to change font colors. Good thing there is very little writing on this video! Thank you for watching.

I've been crocheting for over 30 years - and no matter what, cannot crochet loosely... 😊.. I usually do a larger size
Using a larger hook is a good idea if you need a looser tension. Thank you for watching!
Thank you. This was a great tutorial. Blessings
Glad you enjoyed it!

Looks like The Lacy Mint Poncho by BOD.

Muy hermoso me encantas sus trabajos muy lindos saludos y bendiciones.
Muchas gracias! Le agradezco que se haya tomado el tiempo para avisarme.
For a large how many skiens do I need? Or yards? This is a charming shawl.
More detail is always in the description area below the video. You'll need about 8 ounces.
@@CrazyCoolCrochet 😊😊
If you wanted to make a 3x shawl how many chains would you start with and how many rows would you need to do?
Hello! I'm sorry for the delay in replying. I would try a chain of 112 for the size you require. I hope this helps! Thank you for watching.
