It’s funny how you have two different sizes mine is the same, there is maybe 50mm from end. Mine is a AC25T chlorinator not a RP25 a big difference in prices from $199 to $5-600 and there meant to be the same.
Let me summarize. Per your title, "... WHEN CLEANING FAILS", you first remove the cell to clean it and then reinstall it. You turn on the system and find the cleaning did not solve the problem. Then you get a video camera out and record yourself removing the cell and installing a new one, basically the exact procedure one would have followed to clean the old cell. Why do you think this video is useful?
Great video, but how did the connections come off? Mine are very tight. Are they just pull off push on? Tia.
What is plugged into the underside of the auto chlor box?…..I dont have any chlorinator lights coming up?
hi, wanna know about taking the connections off too. do you just pull them off?

How long to expect the cell to last?
5-8 years from what I have been told
25 Gram unit, not Amp. it produces 25 Grams of chlorine per hour
what if the water doesent want to come up to the cell?
also my light just keeps beeping flashing red light.
Is your spider valve on ‘filter’? It would be flashing as there it no water going past the cell causing it to think there is an error/no production
thats a generic ac cell though....
I’m sorry, was there a question? The ‘autochlor’ box contains a genetic ac cell also?
That new cell should of come with new wiring.Half arsed job using old wiring.
