@GreenTea💚 Yes but Dettlaff also sicced his vampires on the innocent denizens of the city... because a girl hurt his feelings lol. The duchess comparing me to a beagle was vexing but I didn't want her killed for it. And Syanna was a sick fuck but she had terrible shit done to her.
@@ihateiris3878 try run away from him when he uses his bats, dodge and get ready aard when he attacks directly, i think first phase is the hardest in this encounter
Both the DLC's stories, plot wise, are better than the main game. Main game had a very simple plot but great character nuances and writing but the DLCs had both being perfect. Chef's kiss.
@@wezzsimple6612 i know im late repsonding here, but Detlaff was regenerating, and only a higher vampire can kill a higher vampire so Detlaff would have kept coming back
@pepega clapper i dont think you understand how insane vampire regenration is. Dettlaff could regenrare from a cut like this in a metter of minutes, and before regis and geralt would make it into the chamber.
@pepega clapper Also, he could kept cutting Dettlaff until he can't regenerate in decades (just like Regis when he was attacked by a gang of farmers in the books).
i was chilling when those two vamps were fighting each other in front of me and i was supposed to walk towards them to start the final boss fight... let them fight....why should i meddle :)
I'm here because I am playing Witcher 3 again. CD Project Red announced that they are indeed working on Witcher 4 and I saw this news during the moment Dettlaff died I couldn't have asked for a more perfect moment
Dettlaff: Ho... You're approaching me. Instead of running away you're coming right to me? Jorald of Jovia: I can't Yrden the shit out of you without coming closer. *walks into a trap and gets stuffed with bats*
Look at Regis, just standing there... chilling
THey're both his best friends. He couldn't pick side in this combat :(
He does that a lot

He’s gearing up for a smoove ass ambush
Regis is the tragic figure in all this. He is torn between his dear friend and his blood brother.
Yes😢😢
The percussions in the intro are as epic as anything I’ve ever heard in any medium (theater, movies, games, etc.)
TRUE
Something you dont hear much in this game, but damn its so good!
SO good.
If only Netflix Witcher would've had Witcher 3 direction and music behind it. But no. It just had vocal wamen and _diversity._
2:45 Goosebumps.. Dettlaff takes control in fight. Geralt confronts The Beast of Beauclair and the most difficult fight of Witcher 3 progresses.
prince frog is more difficult to defeat on death march in my opinion
@@Barghest_ the second phase of dettalff is so fucking hard, and the fact that you had to do the entire thing when you die makes it more infuriating.
@@ihateiris3878 try run away from him when he uses his bats, dodge and get ready aard when he attacks directly, i think first phase is the hardest in this encounter
@@Barghest_ on death march you can only shed less than 1 mm of health every time you hit toad prince. Hardest fight in the game imo

I'm glad other people noticed it too :)
Oh yes. Best DLC for a game that I've ever played. Hell, imo it's even better then the main game itself!

This goes well with the preparations if you're not prepared to help Regis
Regis was the one who took Detlaff out. Gerald would've been screwed haha

True. Best boss theme I've ever heard.. Its so grandous but also frightning🎵🎶🎵🎼
Fighting Dettlaff in death march with that song hits different
i was chilling when those two vamps were fighting each other in front of me and i was supposed to walk towards them to start the final boss fight...
let them fight....why should i meddle :)
That's a really good montage. Nice job! I enjoy that.
Dettlaff was my absolute nemesis in the whole game, as much as I love it with every fiber of my heart, but that fight cost me a shit ton of nerves 😤
Uwielbiam ten utwór :3
Thank you for making this masterpiece, Poland =D

You never should've meddled, witcher.
This sounds like a theme for a video game boss fight.
That’s... that’s cause.... it is.... imbecile
That's very astute of you c:
@RevanSykesGaming I think he meant that the theme is a "true boss fight theme"

Jest sporo besti z Toussaint. Anna Henrietta, Syanna, Palmerin, Damien, Vivienne, wiedźmin ma sporo roboty a tak poza tym epicki soundtrack.
