You missed a movie reference from Sly 1. In the beginning cutscene for Sunset Snake Eyes, the movie Muggshot goes to see is titled "The Dogfather" which is a reference to The Godfather
never knew that about the toonami codes! but they probably threw that in there cause a lot of sly cooper's promotion was done with partnerships of toonami. I cant remember exactly, but I read that toonami had a give away for sly 2, and thats when a lot of the comercials would be played cause its late night, just like sly cooper vibes
Here's a fun one: When watching the special cutscene after opening all the vaults in sly 1, if you listen carefully, you'll hear the music from Appergio's blimp in the background.

I was binging both from start to finish haha If you want s little combat exploit in Sly 2 when fighting bosses (found out about it in contessas first world, I think), then use combat dodge constantly, while spinning around the bosses in circles. It will make it practically impossible for them to hit you😂 just beware of their special attacks and make sure to hit them in the back when they charge up

@@oliverj.8266I just recently discovered that I could replay sky games in my ps4 with PlayStation plus. My grandfather bought me sly 2 for my 8th birthday and I played it non stop. Now I’m 23 years old and have always had a move and connection to this game and I finally got to play the first one all the way through. Replayed the second one for the hundredth time. I’m working on sky 3 now. And have yet to play the 4th one. But as of now sly 2 is my all time favorite and it might be because it was how I was introduced and my grandfather gifted it to me but it’s a great game all around
