They better make it happen because I hate having to keep cloud streaming the ps3 game on my ps5 using the strong internet. I still have my ps3 slim model and it’s either way if I can buy it on ps3 store or I can may wait for the sly cooper showcase!

My guess is at one point they were working on a tie in game for the Sly movie like they did with R&C but after the poor reception of the R&C movie both were shelved.

Dang the research in this video is deep you know another thing that would be cool for sly cooper is maybe instead of a sequel they start from scratch with a reboot or something along the line of A FINALE FANTASY REMAKE where they kinda make the same game but the gameplay is different and or innovative like more combative just a thought I WANT SLY COOPER AGAIN!
This is great an all, but the voice of Sly literally confirmed there's no game in development yesterday. So unless he's under NDA with whoever is working on this new "game", it isn't happening.

so my friend thank you for talking to her about Sly Cooper it's always a pleasure to hear that the game still lives, I read that Jason Schreier, a very famous journalist in the field of rumors, confirmed that Sly Cooper is not being worked on at the PlayStation studios, I say that we have to wait 25 years of the saga to see something, the real problem remains the Sly Cooper community which is too small to be heard by Sony, if the Sly fans did as in helldivers 2 fans or veto of the heavy bomig in way to scare Sony in my opinion there is a good chance that Sony will reveal something

@@bamban_garcia5562look, we are in the era of social media, PlayStation has an official account, you just need to go under the comments or write a simple e-mail to say, make a new SLY game and...., but as I have fans, they are too few to have listen, if Sly 4 hasn't even sold 1 million copies, what's your right? To make yourself heard, Sony only listens to you if you have the numbers and in the case of Sly Cooper the numbers aren't there, despite Sony helping Sly Cooper during the of the 20 years of the saga they are putting the games back on the PlayStation plus and releasing new accessories for the 20 years...
@@innocentzbatwell yes they are small games for Sony, but for Nintendo they would be perfect and for a long time Sony's platformers have seen bad because now Sony has more mature and realistic video games, unfortunately the problem is from the fans who don't make themselves heard, we can't give the it's always the fault of the companies, they make the games, we decide what to continue or not, there's no room for nostalgia for these companies..., if Sly 4 didn't sell anything and didn't even reach 1 million copies the fault is certainly not Sony but the fans....

You missed a whole bunch of tiny franchises that Sony owns, like Killzone, Buzz, Singstar (not that those 2 are likely to come back), Invizimals, and Little Deviants.
I would LOVE if they brought back Ape Escape, even if its just a remake of the games.

2024 Sly coper & silent hell 2
2025 new spider man & new IP from Sony first party and new crash game like crash 5 or CTR2.
2026 new uncharted game and New IPs

I heard that there was a job opening at Sucker Punch that was looking for someone to write scenarios or something for a game that is “stealth and melee”
I will remain skeptical like always because I have been disappointed before and I ain’t gonna get burned again. HOWEVER, if anything related to Sly gets shown… just know that there will be chairs and tables thrown.

Considering Shpeshal Nick recently & accurately called for Sonic X Shadow Generations at the most recent State of Play, and the ghost of Tsushima PC port announcement day down to the point. I still consider him pretty reliable, when it comes to PlayStation related stuff!
That said, the Sly Cooper stuff burned the whole community back then. Even tho, like you said, he leaked The Last of Us gameplay at the same timeframe. I still hope Sly can come back, but I'm not counting on it for the Showcase. Gravity Rush? Yeah. Sly? I'm lowering expectations, if the past 6-7 years have been any indication of anything.
not gonna lie if we get through the showcase AND summer game fest with no sly then ill be too burned out as well. Not until I see it after this.

@@Safehouze__no man I'll explain now, Sly 4 was released in 2013 the same year as the last of US and God of war ascension, and Sly's game received more attention with more trailers than these 2 if you don't believe me go check it out how many trailers does Sly 4 have and how many trailers does the last of US and God of war ascension have...., in addition the game was also sold at a budget price of 40 dollars...., and it was also released on PS vita, come on Come on, it's the fans' fault, not Sony's, let's assume our responsibilities, the game didn't sell anything, they didn't see the million copies

I think the only way we get a new Sly or inFAMOUS is if Sucker Punch scales up. They said those series wouldn't get new entries outside of Sucker Punch.
We probably get Gravity Rush 2 Remastered and a new Astro Bot announced for 2024 at the showcase. Concord probably gets gameplay and a release date. And I could see several first-party studios showing off games for 2025 and beyond. Probably the 2025 game that leaked from Insomniac. Probably Bluepoint and Bend's games. And the two big ones will be ghost of Tsushima 2 and one of Naughty Dog's games (or the Uncharted game from the mystery studio)
Sony Japan created Astro, and they're gone now.
One series that used to be a PlayStation mainstay is Tomb Raider. Now we know for a fact that a new game has been in development for a while. A lot of people associate Lara Croft with PlayStation and with TR news left right and centre... I believe we'll be seeing a Tomb Raider reveal SOON
Ape Escape fan here and well last I check which was before the pandemic I think there was 2 times the fandom was teased by sony only for nothing to come. I lost hope thanks to that. I mean they celebrated the anniversary of the og game, updated the Japanese website, and even had merch put out. Hope is low, but even a remaster of old titles like crash and spyro I would cry happy tears.

MediEvil is definitely an interesting case. The first game for PS1 recently came to PlayStation Plus on PS4 and PS5 very recently, so it’s likely they could be doing a remake of the second game. They could even release the original version of MediEvil 2 on PS Plus as well to tie it in as well.

I've been wanting ape escape ever since Spyro got remade!
We just need that last game to complete the series. Neither 4 and potentially 5 were necessarily needed but now that we have 4 (and it's less than ideal ending) we need something to cap the series off right. I'm hoping they keep 4's artstyle though since I think it would look really well even in the ps5 era of graphics IF Sly 5 is ever made.
I think if they make a 5th game, it should go back to the cartoony style, rather then the realistic they did with sly 4

Honestly with the four Sony IPs CGE has good faith to actually release in the near future makes me excited, Gravity Rush is awesome and deserves another chance and a sequel to boot to finish it's story, it has the best direct sequel to a game I've seen in a while that is a huge glow up in multiple ways that the OG game needed.
A new Syphon Filter I'm cool with, I did hear Bend Studio didn't want to make another Syphon Filter after Sony turned down their pitches for a Resistance open world game and Days Gone 2, I guess you could say they wanted to do something different than what they were known for and got to do it and fail at it sales wise.
A new Sly Cooper game is needed more than ever these days, especially in a day and age of the huge lack of Stealth games it's more limited than it's ever been, at least the action ones, plus Sony really needs to make more non realistic games anyways since it's 99% of what they put out. Plus if they do the Time Travel themeing again and this time double down on it, it could bring in some great tech demonstrations like what Rift Apart did with Dimension hopping, instead it's time hopping where you can go from past to present within a push of a button, could be a fun mechanic both for traversal and to make quick getaways.
Also Medievil, we do need a new Medievil at least a remake/reimagining of 2, also control wise that first game's remake needed a true combat lock on feature, it would've saved it like with Shadow of the Colossus remake and modern controls, as long as they fix that mistake, although minor even as an option for the sequel game then it will do better.

Never played a Sly Cooper Game before except watch playthrough's back in the day. If Sly Cooper comes back, it would be a great introduction to the feel of it. I also hope Ape Escape will return because that game was very fun.

I really want a Sly Cooper remake in the vain of Spyro reignited/Crash insane trilogy. Remake the trilogy from the ground up, and heck…why not give us a soft remaster of thieves in time (by remaster, i mean a port with a few tweaks)
I’m still not sure, guess we will have to wait and see if it’s official, hopefully if not there, one day we get some information and news on sly cooper making a return, I hope for a 5th and maybe a 6th game, I even write down how both games could be played out if they become official

Even if this just turned out to be Sly 1-3(hopefully also 4)coming to PS5, I'd be happy because if it sold well, we could almost guarantee a Sly 5 or Reboot.
As much as I love Sly Cooper, I hope he makes a return someday. It would be awesome to play Sly once again. Still I feel bad that they had to flush the Little Big Planet servers down the toilet. I sure would love to see Little Big Planet remastered or made once again. I love that game franchise so much that I enjoyed creating characters and so much more. Have you ever played Modnation racers too? That game was even more awesome. I hope some of my best favorite games return to Playstation someday. And all this talk about possible Playstation games returning, I hope we get to see a new PlayStation crossover fighting game for PS5. And this time they should add Crash and Spyro, even though Xbox owns them now. But hey, at least we can still play our other favorites right? I can't wait to see what Playstation has in store for us this year. This should be good.
Possibly not Crash or Spyro as Sony and Microsoft aren't as friendly as Microsoft and Nintendo.

In that case, they are recently added to Playstation, so it's too soon to determine whether or not this will simmer down their hot rivalry.

A Sly remaster is problebly the remaster i want the most out of any remaster that i could get, i relly hope it eventually gets made, ohh and just so you guys know, the way i envision it, its gonna be game 1 - 3, thievies in time can get a remaster all fore itself, simmular to how crash had his remastert trilogi first, then a remastert sequel in the form of one game not multiple, but personaly i dont really Care fore it, i would be tottaly fine if they just anounced it non canon, and instead started making games each focusing on one specifik ancester, without sly being involvt assasins creed style.

Ratchet and Clank aren't considered small. They are definitely larger titles. and even if they weren't, we kind of have a picture of what insomniac is doing the next few years and ratchet is apparently gonna be much much later, so we wont be seeing it soon.

They'll most likely change things for some diversity like:
1. Carmelita now having a proper officer uniform with no midriff or exposed leg, more modest body shape, now the new de fact leader of the Sly crew, with a huge "independence" ego, and a recast of a proper Latina voice actor who can speak in both English and Spanish fluently (Saves money for both dubs).
2. Bentley being weaker than usual "because Wheelchair badassery isn't realistic".
3. Some villain with the independence hairstyle (similar to Tawna's or the new Prince of Persia).
4. A new member of the Sly crew who is non-binary, extremely sensitive, and also has a physical handicap like Bentley.
5. Carmelita's former police companions acting like the police from Spider-Man 2, where they now beat up citizens on the streets.
@@X2011racer I disagree with point 2. They would either take the wheelchair because it's offensive or they would make Bentley a Gary Sue to show people in wheelchairs can do literally anything.
