I saved this video and added it to my USB flash card. You've might have already watched it but if you haven't, markit aneight on UA-cam uploaded a performance of Korn from Lollapalooza 1997 definitely worth a watch. I'm going to save that one to my flash card too now that I think about it!

Oh my god, this looks great. So I was 8 at the time but my brother was way into music and somehow found out about Korn around this time despite us being all the way in Dallas. They were just about to blow up but we’re still pretty much just playing around Huntington Beach area so my brother and some friends (they were high school seniors) DROVE from Dallas to a show they played in Irvine. 21 hr drive and they just did it in one shot taking turns sleeping and driving. Crazy times.

So many korn riffs are so simple but they bring so much atmosphere to the music that they sound amazing when paired with everyone else’s instruments.
I don't think the DefTones would have been what they were without this band. THey seemed to be on the Cali forefront of meth, parent problems, and hardcore core-hop beats with that dark, clown-like vibe

Same here but in 1995 at 15 yrs old. Our singer of our band was obsessed with them and introduced us to Korn. This was right around the time they would have been in the studio making their second album. Never got into their shit after the first album. Everything after 1995 sounded commercial and watered down.

What I love about Korn and other Groundbreaking bands who started a musical revolution like the Beatles, Sex Pistols, Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix Experience is their uniqueness in sound and musical composition. Korn is unique when they came out using 7 string guitars and down tuning them resulting in a more low end heavy sound that are totally new to the people who first heard them for the very first time.

it''s so sad that camera were changing the exposure every so often, so the framerate is trash. Even AI can't handle it. PS, for video enhancement, do you use some kind of eye generating? In 24:08 and many times on the video i can see Jonathan has opened eyes when i believe he has them closed so maybe AI drawn those eyes?

Didn't their one guitarist, not Munki, but other one, have a severe meth addiction and get baptised like real early on?? I saw them with Orange 9mm and another band in '95 at Ziggies. I didn't go home for 5 days. Stayed at a party doing acid, drinking and smoking ice. I loved the 90s as a teen.

I was just thinking the same thng. Just watching this made me want to get high. I remember going to see them at Ziggies in 1995. I was 15 yrs old, a friend of mine was like 20 and saw me at the mall. He said he had an extra ticket. I went and saw my cousin there. He said "Your mom is looking for you. She showed up w/ Chuck's mom (the friend who I went with) at my house at like 5pm today. D-Roc, you better have as much fun as you can tonight b/c when you get home your done for a month". Dude I did like 4 hits of LSD throughout the night, erased the club's sharpie X off my hand and started drinking excessively. I ended up smoking ice at some rich guys party at like 4am. I didn't go home for 3 days. Chuck and 4 other friends of ours stayed and got shit face for days it seemed. LOL. Man... the 90s.. What a beautiful time to be a teen.
