On this episode of Deer Season '22, we're going on a special journey with Wade Robinson that ends with him wrapping his tag on a 188" Iowa giant. A story that began back in 2019, the quest for "D8" shows that you just never know what a buck will grow into antler wise. Years of @ReconyxCameras photos showed that the buck had a tendency to leave the farm early in the season, so going into 2022 the guys knew a plan would have to be made to get it done early. Well as you'll see in the show, that plan worked to perfection and another memory was made in the great state of Iowa! Am I the only one who notices they over score each buck they harvest? I love this channel more than most and won’t ever stop watching but damn near every deer they shoot they over score

As for the score, D8 did in fact score at the 188" gross score mark as claimed. We should post the score sheet but to summarize... his drop tine, inside points and trash on the bases got him to that gross score. An incredible deer and we couldn't be happier for Wade. Watched you guys for so long I can’t even remember how old I was, probably, late 90’s? I remember when Mark had a near meltdown over a bad quartering to shot when you guys had what I remember as a contest or competition or maybe to fill a spot for a new “pro staffer”, if you even do that. Wanted to ask, a simple question, simple answer, do you guys “cull” bad genetics in bucks on the properties you purchase? Even to some extent as in a 2-4 yr old has horrible antler growth? Not a trick question or to set you up just curious if that’s an actual thing and if you guys believe in it to any extent at all? Thanks for continuing to provide great..everything really!
Awesome video. Wade deserves to hunt these giants after all the time he has put in. I'm a little confused though why you set up with his bed down wind from your location? Wouldn't you want to do the opposite of that? Maybe I misunderstood too, just trying to learn a little. Regardless, congratulations Wade!

I love these guys but I didn't hear them thank God at all this video. Most of the time they do though. Maybe they did and it just got edited out. If not, hopefully it's not going to be a trend for videos in the future.

Not a drop of coming out the mouth. Was not a lung shot could of nicked the liver. Was definitely a gut shot. Your just lucky that he bled out internally. I myself think it was photoshop Ed.

Not sure if this is hunting or farming for tame deer
Spines Sticks and Hooks, I promise you it's not farming for "tame" deer. The neighbors are hunting these same deer and Iowa is just a special place to call home. It's not possible to adequately showcase it in a single episode, but all we can say is a lot of time and effort is put in day in and day out on the actual farm work, putting the puzzle pieces together, etc. We love getting to embark each season with family and friends and hope to teach along the way.
