If only my maths teacher was this passionate.
Hi! You made my day, mate! 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂
Math teacher is not in front of the public. That is the difference.
My piano teacher does this every single lesson…
>>>>Drum roll
Joyce is fantastic teacher and I love watching the videos you upload of her master classes! Also good job to the vocalist for picking a hot pianist (and for singing well).
+InstrumentManiac
Totally agree on all fronts. (and who is that pianist~!? lol)
+magicmonkichi Adam Nielsen
+InstrumentManiac You're hot too^^
Oh, yes, sure. Adam Nielsen: douze points.
God, Joyce is just such a fantastic teacher. I love how you can see her stepping back at the end as congratulations, to give the singer the gift of the audience's applause as opposed to herself receiving them in conjunction. Wonderful.
Sam Brinkley Would she were like that more often, such as in the “discussion” w Janet Baker, who said, so sweetly, that they were sharing.
She puts on a good show. Get your tickets while they last!
I live in the North of kansas city area in excelsior springs area and have enjoyed Joyce and her ability for many years kansas city should have statues and fountains honoring her.
Wow. Fantastic teaching and learning
Learning singing is fantastic but a hard work , Joyce is fantastic
Exceptional gift!

+Ninette Urquizu Hello, the student Joyce is working with is Amalia Avilan Castillo =)

AMO A ESTA MUJER
♥️♥️♥️
Whats the title of the song ? so great
Donde lieta from the opera La Boheme by G. puccini
💓
I keep thinking of Mickey Mouse commanding the brooms and buckets in the Disney film Fantasia scene when she does this - she looks like a SORCERER.
Education at its best:
"The conection between two souls"
Calidad de sonido, squilo, liberacion de armonicos, alta frecuencia sonora.
Eso busca la maestra.
The student is a Stratas in the making.
The student is a work in progress, as hopefully are we all. She'll become a best version of herself.
ciociosan I hope not. Much as I love Stratas(phere), she was not the best of singers, A great singing ACTRESS, yes.
🌟🎈🌹💐💖
1:34 What the hell is that noise???
Florence Foster Jenkins pretending that she knows what she's teaching

Donde lieta usci
Seems like Joyce found a singer who is just as crazy as her!
What song is this?
Lauren Boyer Donde lieta usci
Thank you!
Lauren Boyer its an aria,,, please people don't all arias songs.
Constantina Louttchenko
1) How was I supposed to know it was an aria when I didn't know the work?
2) If you're going to correct me, try a complete sentence. 😂
Lauren donde lieta usci
The pianist looks like a budget version of fassbender
They just love singing in the head.
Uma ótima professora mas não para técnica. É perigosíssimo o que ela ensinou nesta masterclass. Fundo da voz instável e tensão mandibular estão muito presentes aqui.
This is how it is supposed to sound, not nasal and constricted, but free, full and released: ua-cam.com/video/MSHWM0QpaBQ/v-deo.html
Che schifo, molto meglio Ramazzotti!! Questo non è belcanto!
What about that shaking jaw.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NASAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why in the world are they miked up haha
Old comment, but probably for this video. They're recording it, so they wanted to ensure the sound quality was great. If they just park a microphone somewhere in the room and hope for the best, the sound quality would be really scattershot. Putting recording mics on them ensures that everything (sung or spoken) and be heard and understood equally well by the viewing audience at home

The horror is that this is a show, not a singing master class. The student howls, throws the sound back and into the nose, each sound sings in a different position, and the teacher shouts Bravo! Horror! And the suckers under the video in ecstasy show their unearthly delight - of course - the main thing is more emotions and smiles, gestures, waving hands - and the show will be successful!
One of the issues the female singer is having? Too much Jaw shaking due to too much pent-up jaw tension. Joyce is not a technique teacher but rather an emotional teacher.
deadwalke uhmm this is a masterclass. Joyce should not be teaching technique to a singer, that’s what her private instructor is for. Joyce is there to take music from the basic level and make it performance or audition ready. She probably a great technician, but that is not her job here
@@flame246848 What she's doing here is technique anyways. She's mostly working on this singer's mask resonance placement, this is technical work not about character delivery or musicality. What OP said is wrong basically lol also, jaw tension results in a stiff and often closed jaw so literally the opposite of a jaw that's relaxed enough to shake.
@@Gabe7Gal omg what you said is so damn wrong
@@Tkimba2 care to actually explain? Otherwise I'm just going to assume that the stuff I said just went over your head lol
nose.
Un circo
While Didonato sings I hear uncontrolled vibrato with musical efficiencies, but here in this masterclass she teaches something great! Thank you to her, but unfortunately she is C class singer. And she can only be student of Netrebko, Garanca and Bartoli.
No.
Gurl, no! Netrebko's coloratura is labored, heavy, and contrived. I got secondhand embarrassment watching her attempting Elvira in I puritani or pretty much anything bel canto. She's good with even, long phrases that do not require a lot of portamento but anything else and she's a mess. Didonato said so herself copying the sound of Bartoli got her into a lot of trouble when she was younger. As much as I love Bartoli, you could hardly even hear her in a big hall. Her voice is machine gun impressive but tiny at best. And Garanca is the mezzo equivalent of Gheorghiu, pretty but god forbidden boring.
@@kngiht84 And Netrebko in "I Puritani" was at her prime 2006-07. Now she has such a collapsed sound and tends to be off a quarter tone her, a half tone there, a whole tone and so on.
I hate my shit voice :( i will never sing like this
Salka Green don't say that, I know people who had absolutely no voice, and they worked soooo hard, every day and got even better than this voice ;) do not give up!
For your own sake I hope you never do sing like THIS...
I hope you won't because this is terrible
You can do it man just find the right technique
it seems the student paid huge money to the teachers
Sooo nasal. Both of them.
Di Donato is a ridicolous singer but she would teach to other Singers what to do !!
What a shame 🤮🤮🤮😡🤬😎😎😎
Very fake and contrived
