The Double Blind playthrough is simply Sweed and I, having never played Dark Souls II nor wanting to, being coerced by chat into playing it by calling us fake soulsbourne gamers. We decided a Co-op run might actually be decent, however we had no idea we were signing up for over 3 months of consecutive DS2 streams.

I love the attention to detail in the stupid gank squad fight. Edgy bleed katana boy at the head of the pack thinking he’s hot sh*t, greatbow guy in the back soft swapping to Estoc and spamming R1 when you get close but crumbles in seconds to any kind of pressure, and a Havelmonster with barely a pulse to speak of, hugging his L1 button desperately, panicking when his phantoms die, and chugging Estus at the last second to try and avoid his imminent death.
Only way to make it better is to have the last guy alive suddenly vanish before dying to the text prompt of “A connection error occurred.”

The gank squad isn't very hard, but was actually the hardest boss in the game on my no-healing lvl 110 play-through with an uchi. It was one of two bosses that took me over 200 attempts. The other was Burnt Ivory King, I did that over a weekend because it wasn't so soul-draining...but the gank squad I did over a few months with long breaks from the game, because it was so tedious.

I hated the trio boss in Shulva and the gauntlet leading up to it so much that I sold my original copy of DS2, haha. Came back to it some years later and still thought that part was an absolute mess of spiteful design, but I did come around to thinking that Shulva has some pretty OK level layouts. Not really into everything having a greenish pallor, though

Hey dude, I wanted to run an idea past you real quick.
There's an immense amount of misinformation regarding the bosses in Elden Ring, despite the game reaching a year old. A shocking amount of people believe bosses input read your melee attacks for example, or don't understand positional branch-points.
Your response to Joseph Anderson is one of the only videos that tackles this issue, but due to it primarily being a response to him and tackling so many different issues, it's effectiveness at changing minds is reduced.
I think a concise, neutral video talking about Elden Ring's mechanics as a whole would do wonders for the community, I'd really love to see something like that from you at some point. You're one of the only people that has the ability and knowledge about the games mechanics that could make a substantial difference in helping clear up misinformation.
