Excellent. I often put off adding aesthetics but when I get it done it feels so rewarding. It brings so much character to a world
Summarized because there's no timestamps:
1. Storage room
2. Bedroom
3. Kitchen / place with furnaces
4. "Super smelter" automated furnaces
5. Automatic farms, villager farms, chicken farms, sugar cane farms
6. Treasure room showcasing rare items found on adventure
7. Map room displaying the world around your home
8. Dog or cat beds / dog or cat house / dedicated area for pets
9. Fireplace
10. Enchantment room / library
11. Swimming pool with a hidden room
12. Aquarium decorations
13. Minecart tracks that connect your base's buildings
14. Villager trading hall
15. Bee / honey farm
16. Furnace XP machine that farms cacti and bamboo and stores XP (or other XP farms)
17. Tables, chairs, sofas, other pieces of furniture (turn house entrance into a chill room)
18. Armory / armor set room
19. Turn your mine tunnels near your base into proper decorated mine checkpoints
20. Potion-brewing room
21. Forge area that has an anvil and grindstone and smithing table

Ive really enjoyed spacing out my storage and surrounding my double chests sides and tops with trapdoors. It breaks up the idea of having everything on one wall filled with chests and allows for more ideas for rooms and decorations.

Bro I don't usually leave comments. but yours are truly informative, organized, and insightful. I'm impressed! I'm 3 years experienced minecraft player but everytime I tried to build bases or megabases had a hard time to decied what to build inside cuz the rooms are always limited even in case of a megabase and I couldn't let go both of functionality and beauty. I'm glad this video points it out and gives insights about that. You deserve more subscribers.

Oh yeah a full aquarium in my base could be great. As you said lots of movement and colour with that addition.

I love map rooms. BUT! Once a new map has been created, that new data creates lag. Unlike other forms of lag, you can't get rid of map data after it has been created.
