Well there go, there's the actual answer. Cold water tends to be a lot cleaner. The warm Caribbean simply has no Rivers to dirty it.

just because it looks clean doesn't mean it is.. quotes from Business Insider about a lake in Galicia, Spain.. "Instagrammers are being drawn to a vibrant turquoise lake in Galicia, Spain.
But the lake is actually a toxic dump full of hazardous chemicals from an old mine."

Also, 0:55 when listing the marine life the lifeguard was like “ Hmmm should I include sharks too? Nahh”😆. Obviously he didn’t want to include sharks on purpose , which I am sure love to swim in the clear water as much as everyone else 🦈 🦈 🦈

This still won't stop all the doom and gloomers from saying the sky is falling, I live in NY state and we have more wildlife now than in the past 28 years owning our home. I remember as a kid how polluted the tri state area was, it's way better now!

The lack of rain actually seemed like the actual answer to the clean water because naturally when it rains all the mud gets washed from the rivers naturally into the oceans. The Hudson River was dirty and muddy when Hudson himself discovered it.

🏖 It's all of the reasons listed. Taking care of the ocean and environment paid off in spades with beautiful clear water, more sea life and people spending time there, spending money, enriching local businesses.

      @@nelia039Makes sense.
      Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation
These currents are carried in a large "global conveyor belt," which includes the AMOC. AMOC stands for Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation. The AMOC circulates water from north to south and back in a long cycle within the Atlantic Ocean.
      What would happen if the
      AMOC collapses?
Without the AMOC, the Northern Hemisphere would get colder, and
the southern hemisphere would get warmer, though by a lesser degree . (Feb 20, 2024)
How soon will the AMOC collapse?
According to a study published in Nature in 2018, the buoyancy of the Atlantic Current has decreased by 15 percent over the past 70 years. Another more recent research estimated that the point of no return could occur before 2095.
