    Cara your intro was just beautiful....the video may have been short but filled with history...very overgrown with greenery no wonder you would loose balance! I can't imagine me doing that...so thank you for taking me along on this journey....Such lovely views too!

      It was quite funny, you may have saw a quick sight of a guy in a orange jacket, one of the Tartan Vikings. He laughed as it happened, cos i wasn't putting the camera down. :-) Thanks for watching

    Nice one Cara.
    Knowing that location, we know how commanding a position it holds. We drove to a car park there in the Motorhome hoping to see the Castle and the Falls nearby. Then we got scammed by a car park payment sticker and lost a grey waste pipe from trying to drive along the track. So we remember it well!! 😃😃
    Have a lovely week ahead Cara

    Normally I love it when nature reclaims what was taken, but in the case of the castle it’s a stand is so overgrown and more isn’t made of it 👍

      It was nice to see it being reclaimed in away, but it kind of gave it a neglected. beautiful but sad at the same time. What remains, surely be gone totally in time.

    It’s frightening just how quickly Mother Nature reclaims the land! We have a bit of wasteland behind our shops here & it soon got colonised by masses of weeds and that pretty purple willow herb that you always see beside railway lines! Oh and buddleia bushes growing out the walls!

    • @openmindedwonderer
      @openmindedwonderer  4 місяці тому +1

      Oh i do love buddleia bushes but they do grow in some odd places at times. It is amazing how nature takes land back. I did love visiting this castle, beautiful and sad. Beautiful that nature has taken over but sad because at some point what is left of the castle is likely to be gone for good. Thanks for watching :-)
