    Thanks for your video sir. Can you share a video of pipe sizing of the water supply system (ppr piping). Thank you

    How did u know 0.33 bar pressure for each floor without booster pump? Any formula ot refrence, somewhere u me tioned 0.433psi per feet and here 0.33 bar per floor. Plz clarify

    Hi, thanks for the tutorial. Here are my questions
    1. How do you know the number of floor where the min required pressure won't be available.
    2. Is the 1.5bar min pressure the required pressure of any fixture in the floor? Lets say WC flush tank
    3. How did you arrive at 1.6bar for the floor with gravity supply

    • @ncengineeringtechnology3376
      @ncengineeringtechnology3376  10 місяців тому

      First calculate required pressure for each floor.
      Check the required pressure for fixtures and appliances from catalogue. Consider maximum pressure fixture .if you have water tank on roof then calculate pressure by gravity at each floor in the riser. if riser pressure is less than required then you need to supply this floor by booster.
      Please watch this video again, I think you will understand. then for any doubt you can write me, here or can send email also. I will clarify you.
      For each feet riser you need 0.433 psi pressure.

    hi dear have some doubts redarding this , assuming 1.8 as peak factor and duration all this from where this is added from.

    • @ncengineeringtechnology3376
      @ncengineeringtechnology3376  Рік тому

      Peak factor is different for different area.
      For your area you can consult water supply authority or you can do your own observations.

    14 floor u added (.33 +1.5 ) bar how this got

    • @ncengineeringtechnology3376
      @ncengineeringtechnology3376  Рік тому

      we selected terrace booster pump at 1.5 bar, it is the minimum pressure required for top floor,
      as we go down the pressure in the network will be = booster pump pressure +pressure by gravity duty level difference.
      at 14th floor 0.33 bar is pressure due to level difference & 1.5 bar is by booster pump.
      Floor height =11 ft
      pr to lift water 01ft = 0.433 psi
      Pressure for 11ft = 0.433x11= 4.763 psi
      = 0.328 bar
      = 0.33 bar

    hi for booster pump of 1.5 bar how we decide, is there any calcalculation for that,for feeding 3 floor of 5 flats each.

    • @ncengineeringtechnology3376
      @ncengineeringtechnology3376  Рік тому

      1-calculate pressure required for each floor.
      2- check if pressure available by gravity is less than required, then feed this floor by booster,
      3- Booster pump pressure = max. difference between required pressure & available pressure by gravity at any floor.
      It is generally pressure required at top floor, as at this level pressure due to height difference between water tank and floor is negligible.

    from total fixture units is 9400, water peak demand is 754 gpm how this is found from the chat or formula

      @@ncengineeringtechnology3376 hi bro, if we have riser height of 30feet let say , so we will simply find riser pressure by multiplying (35feetx0.434 psi) means 15 psi total pressure which is equivalent to almost 1 bar. Like this or anythng else plz let me knw.

    peak factor is constand in all cases,if not how it varies

    • @ncengineeringtechnology3376
      @ncengineeringtechnology3376  9 місяців тому +1

      No, peak factor is the ratio of peak demand to mean demand.
      Observe the peak demand in a day and calculate total demand for one day, this ratio will give you peak factor.
      If people living in a building are working, then in morning and evening more people use water,peak factor will be higher, if non working then all people will not use water simultaneously, peak factor less.

    From where you get peak demand and demand factor. Reference pls in ipc

    • @ncengineeringtechnology3376
      @ncengineeringtechnology3376  7 місяців тому

      Peak factor is different for different locality, you can ask your municipality department for it,
      as general practice for medium city we consider it 1.5
      for small projec you can calculate your daily water demand by per capita method, you watch our video
