very good video i am chipping in with one clarification (guessing some of you may have these doubts) @ 6:04 .... the 5% loss is the frictional loss when water travels through a pipe of 1km length (this will vary with material and dimension of pipe) let me explain further: this is not leakage loss (as some of you may assume) In a friction-less pipe to get an output of 8.4 liter per sec you have to pump out at 8.4 liter; but when you consider friction you will have to pump out at a slightly higher rate (thumb rule: add 5% for very km of water traveling through the pipe) P.S: Pls feel to correct if i am wrong in my interpretation or explanation
Dear 1. It's 55 + losses which makes it 70 lpcd for jjm 2. Source is checked for 30 years 3. All components except Pump is designed for 20 years, while pump is for 10 years. 4. Construction period is taken as 2 years
Bro this video very very helpfull.. I m phed department but how to design ..I don't well..i requesting to pls elaborated that in Excel..by example jjm mission
I have one question.. How could we measure the time taken for filling a ESR fully from Pump house for clear water rising main line (DI K9)? Suppose , it is 20 KW pump , with 180 LPS discharge and 200 KL ESR with 1 km distance
Due to sewage system and different population group...just check out CPHHEO manual as a valid source which I have mailed you....detailed answer is available there..
If ESR capacity is halved, why is Q in Pump HP calculation not adjusted later. Q should be 120780 liters / 8 hours instead of 241560 liters per 8 hours, yes?
I've learnt so much in 8 minutes than I have had in 3 months. Thank you for sharing
Ecellent approach
waw ...what a very important video
I really like how you made the basics so easy, thank you for sharing you deserve more views.
Thanks.. means a lot..😄
Yes, he deserve more likes and views, I personally think that everyone should aware of this water distribution system
Valuable information...thanks

A Good lecture I like it because of that I am A waters supply and Sanitation Engineer
Where
Currently I am working in jjm missions Design.. these video is very useful and related
I m also work in jal jeevn mission , u r information very use full
Best of best 👍
Excellent video 👍👍👍
you simplified the whole process, awesome
Part 2 please. Very informative video. 👍

Million dollar video, plz keep it up to make video on distribution design network
Superb video. Realy needed one.
Very well detailed
Loved the explanation it simplified the concept.
All of your videos are very informative! 👌
Please make video of water supply in a bungalow and building from main line to tap.
Very useful.. good bro
Thank you for this! 🙌✨
Excellent video
Good explanation...

really good
Thanks for this vedio very helpful for me
Awesome
keep continue
nice broder...
Thank you very much for this information sir😊👌🏻
Brother, where is the treatment plant? Will you supply untreated water ? No concern for water quality?
Nice video....tho am a bit not clear on the part for frequency and how it reduces cost and volume..
Bro this video very very helpfull.. I m phed department but how to design ..I don't well..i requesting to pls elaborated that in Excel..by example jjm mission
Thank you so much for explanation 💗
Best
Good bro
Sir how hf is calculated please put a value
superb explanation!!!!! To The point!!!
Simplified concept
Thnq so much for this video
Thank you😊
Hello sir, make videos on the Waste water supply system and Sewer Gems
Sir how about the water fixture unit table method to find the q or gpm? Is it the same?
Well explained
With your calculation and with darcy weisbach equation i get different values.
Will explained
Thanks 😊
sir are you from India ? I want to learn JJM DPR making can you provide training for that ?
Please sir soon I need part 2

I have one question..
How could we measure the time taken for filling a ESR fully from Pump house for clear water rising main line (DI K9)?
Suppose , it is 20 KW pump , with 180 LPS discharge and 200 KL ESR with 1 km distance
Pls Make video on watergem and alternative option of watergem,
How i would say u thank u i m not getting... awesome explanation... bro will explain about loop design software
Plz explain logistic curve method plzzzzzzz....
55 litres of water is enough ?? As per NBC it's 135 litres right ?
Thanks for this videos quiet helpful for start up,please can you help with other videos to design hydraulics flow analysis manully?
I like
i like it how to explain this lucture
Can you write from which source you got the pump efficiency?
calculation of friction head
sheesh thanks
Part 2 video sir
Hi...new video out: ua-cam.com/video/xNrZ1uZS8uU/v-deo.html
Sir, kindly explain 8.6 hp calculation at last. I Can't get the answer 8.6 by solving that equation... Hp=pxgxQxH/n(70 present)
The answer you get is in kgm²/s³ and you need to convert that to HP by a factor of 1.36E-3
How did you get the 8.pHP
Only he knows so we have to wait in suspense 😂
How did you get the HP to be 8.6?
Only God knows
Why urban (135 lpcd) and rural(55 lpcd) per capita demand varies ?
Due to sewage system and different population group...just check out CPHHEO manual as a valid source which I have mailed you....detailed answer is available there..
check this #IndiaWater portal thread also:
www.indiawaterportal.org/questions/need-rationale-selection-135-litres-day-capita-domestic-consumption-level-urban-india
Head equal to ..static+ friction loss+residual why u add velocity pressure??
If ESR capacity is halved, why is Q in Pump HP calculation not adjusted later. Q should be 120780 liters / 8 hours instead of 241560 liters per 8 hours, yes?
Author is correct . * hours is pumping hours
Hey what is this application name
Any wrk is designed for 30 yes dude
