No, it needs rally wheels and firestone wide oval tires... those wheel covers are some of the ugliest that GM ever made. I'll never understand why people like them.
Thank you! I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates those ugly wheel covers. The rally wheels are the perfect look for these cars. Those hubcaps look like they belong on station wagon.
@@patriciabrandt490 They're listed as options in the old Corvette Black Book I have. Not sure if it's an accidental omission in that book but I don't see them listed for '69. They're listed for '68 as option "P01-Bright Metal Wheel Cover" for $57.95 and for '70 as option "P02-Custom Wheel Covers" also for $57.95. They were also available '71-'73 for a few bucks more. Upon looking further I also have an "Illustrated Corvette Buyers Guide" and it DOES list "P02" for '69, again for $57.95. I think they're cool if they originally came on a car. Had I been standing there in the dealer back in '69 though I can't say I'd have paid extra for them over a set of rallies lol, nor would I go out of my way to put them on a car that didn't come with them.
@@Jonhobbs64 If that car was in my garage it would have rally wheels on it. Those hubcaps aren't just ugly, they're heavy too... take them off and use them for boat anchors.
Beautiful car and pO3 caps👍🇺🇸
Great video, awesome car. I love those P02 wheel covers but that car needs 3/8'' white stripe tires.

Nice but, those are the most God-aweful wheels I've ever seen !
Stock Hubcaps! Crazy! They weigh probably 20 pounds each also. Lol
@@MrScaredshiftless ya I though so. Having things stock really pays off sometimes though
wheels do like like shit
Even more "awful" is your spelling. They're not wheels they're wheel covers and they're the originals.

Is it an L89? Cause I’ve got a few questions
Sombody take his keys
LOL, that's funny.
This is just stupid and what’s up with the hub caps?
Ugliest hubs I’ve ever seen on a vette.
You would LOVE them it it was in YOUR garage! Lol
They're the original wheels covers. I guess you haven't seen too many Vettes then.
@@sidefx996 I did not know that, thanks for that information, I just like beauty rings, so I guess these would be a upgrade?
