I love how you were recognized and the folks were all excited to have a quick chat.

I think it's important to acknowledge the courage Sharon has shown in trusting Tim - who is a complete stranger- to do as he says he will do. When you are disadvantaged basic support and life necessaries more often than not come with a "catch". The current system is designed to disadvantage those who need it the most, the more a person needs kindness and support the more difficult it is to obtain. Trust is a major part of life and when your trust in people, the system, or a community has been broken - its incredibly hard to get that back. The action of mowing the lawn is not the critical care point for many, it's the trust that someone gives to Tim that he will do as he says. That is the real magic. 👍

That’s exactly what I wonder?!!! Clearly, they can see that this woman/neighbor needs help with lawn maintenance. What about a young man offering as his mission project?!!! This woman has other issues going on because no one lets their yard go this long. So sad that we don’t see more of these random acts of kindness. But, I am sure the neighbors are quick to report a code violation. Sad state of affairs.

Hi Tim. that scagg made an excellent job at gobbling up that grass. The property now looks so good and you have not finished yet. I think once the outside has been cut we will really see a remarkable finish. It was lovely to see the members of public voicing their appreciation at your good work. That must be so encouraging to you and gives you drive! it would be lovely to have the gate swing free at the drive, but that's for another day! The garden could end up with a 5-Star rating when done. All they now need after you finished off is a good downpour but then the new grass will be showing. It was a great effort from you Tim, and it sounds like the lady is very appreciative. That alone gives you more courage. Kind regards, take care. 💗

I have to deal with trailer loads of oak leaves in the fall, so I use several tarps to layer the refuse into loads I can handle alone, When you think you've reached your load limit, just lay another tarp on top and repeat. I once had five layers on my trailer and unloaded my entire trailer in about two minutes. Never touched a rake. The lady and her husband next to me were raking theirs out of a pickup bed and I heard her ask her husband, "Did you see that!" My guess is they bought some tarps and she no longer helps with the leaves!

Terrific work! You could only guess at the size of the property, now you can see the whole place again. As I said last time, I find it remarkable that you really clean the fence with the electric scythe. The neighbor will also be grateful when it's clean again. I'm looking forward to part 3, which will be released I think. Then everything is in a very good condition again and the lady can perhaps edit it herself. She shouldn't wait that long, though, because then it's horrible work.

Imagine trying to do that just with a brushcutter and your utility mower.
Buying the Scag 2as a huge expense, but just look how much easier it has made those overgrown cuts.

Great job. That is some long grass and weeds. I have a John Deere x540 with a 48 inch deck. First cut I mow with the deck high, then come back low and it's goes into the 14 Bushel bagger which I dump into the pickup truck. When I'm done, I take it to yard waste recycling. Can't wait for Part 3. You should get into a sponsorship with a store like Home Depot and give the people you help a mower for free. Good for Home Depot and good for you. Love that trimmer you have.

How is that not a code violation?! Where is the family? If I were her neighbor, I would have never let her lawn get so out of control. Where is the compassion for others? Thank you for helping her❤️

Tim, you would think that the neighbours help their fellow neighbours in preventing lawns to get so over grown, thus can be overwhelming for the person who would be unwilling to ask for help. You do good dead’s keep it up👍😎

Another way to do thick lawns is to use a brushcutter with a blade, wait a couple days to let it hay off a bit, collect the bulk of the grass and then hit it with the scag
