@whattheysayaboutme425 This house and many that he's done are in Detroit. The park across the street has the Spirit of Detroit logo on the sign. But he has done quite a few in Pontiac. I'm sure both cities need and appreciate his hard work
I would love to see some of the places you clean up months later, looking at how people use the start they are given, I would find this very interesting,
Seeing these old dilapidated houses makes me think that if they could talk, they would have such great stories to tell! Family gatherings, celebrations, birthdays, holidays, families growing, laughter, tears, loving times and most likely, even some arguments! Thank you, Sean, for helping them to get even a small twinkle back in their eye. I know you were doing it to deter squatters, but as you drive away you can almost see the house wink and smile back at you.
Sean, you are by far the best lawn/yard transformation channel. You pick up your clippings, go beyond the others and mend fences, roof lines, stack wood, build new stairs, etc., while the whole time you are doing this with a smile, jokes and a great personality. Keep up the great work. I always save your video for the last (and that's a compliment).
Sean here and Mac from Midwest Magic Cleaning are my two favourites. If they could do an indoor/outdoor collab, I imagine the end results would be flawless.
Before even start watching the video I always thumb it up because I know your are going to do a great job. Your channel and flawless cleaning servicies are the BEST in UA-cam.
Love Flawless with their brambles and Sean with his Michigan vines. Denver has thistle and it seems like everyone has those trees that spring up everywhere and grow so fast.
Many years ago we had a crack house next door, traffic at all times…..day and night. Limos, bikes , taxis, everybody was going there. Police said take down license plates, nothing came of that. Finally the landlord kicked them out. I peeked inside, mattresses on the floor, crib…yes there were kids in the house. Everything was reported but it was the landlord who handled it. The house was sold and redone by a guy like Sean, he helped me with my house for free. I now have different, wonderful neighbors and no stress as far as the neighborhood is concerned. Thank you Sean.😘
Hi Sean, i am so inspired by your community work. I live in The Netherlands and i decided to start to do some good for people too. Right here in My own street. My neighbour across the street is living isolated and he neglected his garden and house for 30 years. The neighbourhood is angry and frustrated about it. So let's change this!! The city gouverment and the neighbour wants to work with me to start a neighborhood garden in his yard. Slowly and carefully with lots of respect for My neighbour we are starting. Baby steps to create trust and a good feeling for the neighbour. Towards Together fixing his yard. with the kids living in my street i want to create a happy garden. Empathy and positive thinking plus working together will connect the neighbours. Now everyone is living for themselves. Only complaining. Let's connect and feel good about our neighbourhood! Make live good for everyone 🤩 Thanks and keep up doing this beautiful work for free!🙏🏻❤️🍀👋🏻
I think many people are just waiting for people to lead the way because so many are busy with growing demands placed on their time. After years of our civil servants serving only themselves, cutting community projects and services, so many people are lost when it comes to serving their community individually; sounds like you’re stepping up. I don’t doubt people around you will eventually follow.
Right? Instead of the billions being spent on things most citizens don’t want, why not divert these funds to fixing abandoned houses for veterans, the elderly and disabled people. Then maybe we could set up voucher programs to lessen mortgage payments for first responders, nurses, teachers and the regular blue collar folks that we now know are necessary for our survival. I doubt people would have as much problems if our taxes went back into helping our citizens.
@@ElectronicMusicUnderground first I love the fact that you rehab these homes...Sadly I'm sure you are absolutely right...I'm just thinking of the kids and families

Contact health dept or code department. They are supposed to come and board things up. Also contact fire department they maintain list of abandoned properties. If you know someone in the police dept you might tell them you are cleaning it up just so if someone calls they know you are ther or let neighborhood watch know.Another suggestion send your link to the mayor or city council to let them know about this property especially near school or park. Great work!
Great ideas! Safety is always a worry when doing these . I’ve also said there should be someone he could contact to let them know he’s there ,for safety reasons .. we just never know these days , especially if squatters are known to be there ..
Very true. If a fire were to happen it would be a hazard to first responders, esp. with all that garbage in the house and the ceiling caving in. Not to mention the smell and rodents it would probably attract from the mess, seeping over to the surrounding neighbors' houses.
Do you realize there are parts of Detroit that don't even have 24/7 police coverage? The city has been mismanaged by corrupt leadership for decades. They've lost a large portion of their tax base and can't provide basic city services, so I don't think they gaf about a broken window on an abandoned house.

Now if the squatters are currently there and doing suspicious things when the police are called, it MIGHT be a different situation entirely. But at the same time, if the owner of the property isn't taking any action themselves, the police probably won't either.
I grew up in the Detroit area in the 50’s and it was tough then. My mom was born there but it wasn’t that bad yet. Thank you for thinking of the children’s safety.
The person who contacted you should call the mayor and governor's office and let them know what is going on their and ask them to go look at this house so they could either board it up or have it condemned since they aren't getting help from the police! Hopefully, the smell wasn't a dead body.

I can’t believe that people would complain after all that hard work, next they will say you should clean inside….you do so much beyond what is expected a Godly man. Personally, I thought the ivy added character to the home. God Bless
I'm sure this is a naive comment/question, but here goes: You are absolutely awesome, Sean! That said, why doesn't the city locate the owners of these places and hold them responsible?
There's a housing shortage now. You would think all the abandoned houses would be sold and turned into homes for families. In this case, that house is probably beyond repair.
@@blueribb99 There's no housing shortage in Detroit. You can buy a home for a few thousand dollars. The problem is there's no jobs, schools, hospitals, stores, etc. around the property. The land bank owns a lot of these houses, they don't have the funds to maintain all of them. Detroit will most likely never be the size it was in the 60's again.
Hello Superman, another wonderful video to see, i was laughing at the thought of flowers and lights, but after you put it there, the house looked like it came alive. Nice how you also helped out the neighbour. Have a great week, love and blessings to you and the family, see you next Monday.

Thank you for helping the couple with the weed tree growth against their house, siding repair and the cement pile at the front of their yard. That was an overwhelming project for them. Well done!!!

Hi! My suggestion is that this house be brought to the attention of the authorities, as it is in front of this beautiful park that the city created... so that the authorities can come and remove this rubbish from inside the house, and close it with boards, doors and windows... And notify the owner. What this house cannot do is cause a lack of security in this beautiful park.
Yeah. The door needed to be locked, the air conditioner removed and that window boarded up. So long as there is easy access, the squatters will keep going in.
This was my thinking, as well as maybe getting an inspector to condemn it and slate it for demolition. From the look inside, it didn't appear to be in good enough shape to fix up... just my opinion; no expert, but it looks bad.
@lynnquinn7244 it's most likely on the list....just one of thousands and thousands. It's the D...people don't understand till they seen it. But it is getting much better.
Each video you produce just keeps getting better and better! Your work is stellar, your character is that of a Godly man and the way you help people is the perfect example we all should try to live by! God bless you and your family! Be careful out there and I'll be watching next Monday from my little spot in the corner of South Carolina!
The house that you moved that concrete with with the help of that gentleman, was that the house right next-door to the squatters across the street from the park? You did a phenomenal job looks really great. You are definitely a transformation expert!!! I enjoy watching your channel and how you give the communities 110% between getting a play set for the kids and fixing the ladies fence to putting flowers and lights in front of the house to make squatter stay away. You are phenomenal and much appreciated
Love *OPERATION SMOKE AND MIRRORS!* It's great that you helped out the neighbors! You're a hard worker - make sure you pace yourself and don't get burned out. ❤
It's such a shame these places stopped being maintained in the 70's, and 80's. As an past owner, I know how hard it was to keep a rental up because the way the tenants didn't care about them. You'd get a good tenant, and the next was terrible. It's as simple as cleaning up after yourself, picking up trash, instead of ignoring it(because it isn't yours). There where always disgusting surprises left behind. I couldn't stand knowing this about people, So I got out of it. It sucks to see great architecture just rotting beyond repair. The fact the city finally started to demolish buildings has really made a difference in Detroit. But you Sean, you are making a HUGE difference! The City of Detroit owes you a big thank you!
Great job I will never understand why people do that to houses hopefully the kids can play at the playground now and parents won't have to worry as much
I checked out your Merch store. I was surprised there wasn't a 'The Vine Whisperer' t-shirt. lol Thanks to you, Monday has become a day I look forward to! Thank you, for all that you do!
I love how much you help your community. Happy to see you add the flowers this time. Good job! I’m always left with the sparseness of each property after everything is cut down & removed. I’d just like to make one recommendation. Look for the native plants that have grown there & don’t remove them. The birds, bees, butterflies & people will benefit from this. At this time it is so simple to identify those beneficial plants with google, inaturalist, etc. Thanks for everything you do!
This was a very unique video. You sure are a hero. Those two homes look so nice now with that beautiful park across the street. I probably would have given the fifth mum to the neighbors. It would have been pretty on their porch after the clean up you did. Maybe they will get one to brighten up the porch. Also, how wonderful is it to have someone offering to help you on your projects. Teams can really move mountains.... not that you aren't moving mountains on your own!!!! Great job Sean!
So many ideas and activities from you, Sean. Great and interesting! Keep going and stay safe👍 It was nice to hear, that the kids from the last week video appreciated your gift😊
You and OUTDOOR WITH ERIK should team up with some of these horribly overgrown properties. He has some really huge equipment that can knock out backyards that are so overgrown like that. He is in the Michigan area, does a lot in Battle Creek. I am so amazed at how well you do for so many people and just as amazed that single mothers or couples can't come out of their homes and pick up the bricks, tires, pull weeds, cut grass and let stuff get so out of control. I know people have financial issues, health issues but it doesn't stop neighbors from lending a hand. Why don't people look out for each other like decades ago? NC hurricane decimated so much and strangers helping strangers are the many videos you see now. That is the way it should be EVERY WHERE!
You are such a Blessing, Sean! You’re not just a blessing to the people you help there, but you’re a blessing to those of us who get to watch. I can’t believe that people would complain after all that hard work, next they will say you should clean inside….you do so much beyond what is expected a Godly man. Personally, I thought the ivy added character to the home. God Bless
I’m glad that you are supporting your community I hope that you and your family are doing okay
I'm sure this is a naive comment/question, but here goes: You are absolutely awesome, Sean! That said, why doesn't the city locate the owners of these places and hold them responsible?
What is more shocking is that sometimes the city actually owns the property.
There's a housing shortage now. You would think all the abandoned houses would be sold and turned into homes for families. In this case, that house is probably beyond repair.
One of the things I love about your work is all the details. Fixing things that are little but makes a difference. 🎉
Love it that this couple offered help and money. Very nice people
SHOUT OUT TO JAMAR!!!! That’s what I’m talking about!!!! This felt good to watch. I will complain when I see the opposite and I will came here and salute when people do help! Jamar you a real one!!!!
You are one outstanding gentleman in all you say & do. God Bless you !
Before you said what you were going to do with the flowers on the steps, I had thought of the same thing. I think whatever you can do to make it look normal may deter. If not, you tried. You always do an amazing job and go the extra mile. If anyone says you shouldn't, delete that comment or don't even read it. We need more people who go the extra mile to help others. You are an inspiration!
Thank you for helping the couple with the weed tree growth against their house, siding repair and the cement pile at the front of their yard. That was an overwhelming project for them. Well done!!!
I think this is my favorite video yet. Sean is absolutely amazing. His love for his community shows in each video he makes. I was born and raised in Detroit but have since moved to Texas. Just seeing him give back and care for my home area is so heartwarming. He has a loyal follower for life. Thank you, Sean, for all that you are and all that you do.
Sean, you never, ever have to apologize for being kind and helping people out. It looks like you are working in Detroit, so I don't imagine the branches would get picked up anytime soon any way. Keep up the great work!
There's nothing better than a freshly edged sidewalk to improve the look of any area !!! You're amazing ❤❤
This was a good transformation. I love to see the clients you help come out and also help clean up their property. It would be nice also to see that young man helping you on your jobs and getting him a UA-cam channel started.
Except he has no clients. That would suggest he is being paid for his work by the people living in the houses he is cleaning up.
@@Paranitis oh my goodness it's always that one😒 I very well know he's not being paid
@@Paranitis He is being paid by YT for his Video's ! The more views he gets the more money he makes ! Just like everyone else on YT ! There are some on YT making Millions of dollars per year !
@lauroelias3834 it's the D! It will be on the list....but it's just one of thousands and thousands. Too many to get to...
@@gregspencer2654 Thanks!
Thank you for all you do!
Tarzan to the rescue! Hooray for your effort.
Watching from Singapore. Those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed by the Lord.
Exactly
Yes and hello from Canada
Love *OPERATION SMOKE AND MIRRORS!* It's great that you helped out the neighbors! You're a hard worker - make sure you pace yourself and don't get burned out. ❤
You are an everyday Hero .Thank you for what you are doing
As per usual smiles all around.
Cheers from Down Under.
Great job I will never understand why people do that to houses hopefully the kids can play at the playground now and parents won't have to worry as much
Thank you, Sean, for making the kids park safer.
You have a good heart, and God bless you my brother++!!!!😮❤😅😅
I think you should call the city about the first property. Usually they put plexiglass up to keep intruders out
Good morning everyone hope you are having a good day. Greetings from the USA and ohio. Good job Sean stay safe.
That place is a few good rains from falling in. I am sure the neighbor is so thankful for your heart! God bless!
Wait till there's a heavy snow this winter!!!
You do so much good for all the folks living in the neighborhood's. I thank you!!!!
Sean even my 5yr old granddaughter likes watching you work😊
Jamar, you are a very caring person. Thank You, for helping this lady with her concerns. Great Job. May God Bless and Protect you and your family. ❤🙏
Good morning, Sean, good job on today’s show. I knew you were going to clean that porch. You are my favorite.😀
I checked out your Merch store. I was surprised there wasn't a 'The Vine Whisperer' t-shirt. lol Thanks to you, Monday has become a day I look forward to! Thank you, for all that you do!
And wow! I love that you went back to the first property site and helped the neighbor. So wonderful!
I hope someone waters the flowers. Great job Sean
I wouldn't think they would be there long, also the lights. A broken front window says nobody lives there
This was a very unique video.
Awesome job as usual! Thank you kind Sir! ❤
So many ideas and activities from you, Sean. Great and interesting! Keep going and stay safe👍
It was nice to hear, that the kids from the last week video appreciated your gift😊
The city's are so quick to find someone over uncut grass, but let places like this slide by. The city must own it. Thanks for your work!
Cities around the U.S. will whine about having zero funding, but they always seem to manage funds to pay for personal giving out fines.
I hope the people that live there will keep it maintained.
I'm impressed that it's not a corner lot! 😂
You're an amazing man. Keep up the good work! 😊
Wonderful. Great job.
You always do such a beautiful work. Just awesome job 👏
I wait Monday mornings for your videos to come up. You do a great job all the time. I just don’t know what I’m going to do this winter when it snows.
You are such a Blessing, Sean! You’re not just a blessing to the people you help there, but you’re a blessing to those of us who get to watch. With so much bad in the world, so much craziness in our country, to see a truly Good person is so uplifting. Such a Joy!
You live your Beliefs, God Bless you! 💙💙💙💙👍💙💙💙💙
Yeeeerrrrrr it’s Monday we got Sean. Again. Don’t know what I do with out these vidios of yours to watch And this looks. Sutch a messy one so let’s go 🥰👍👍👏👏✋✋😇
I think you so much for the love and work you did on this. I do enjoy watching you and I think you God bless you 🙏❤️
Awesome job Sean. You are so sweet. Be great to call that man back, give him some pride in being able to pay you back.
Love the flowers and lights!
