5'' random orbit sander pad replacement hook and loop Porter Cable 333

Watch as I replace the sander backing pad for my random orbit palm sander. This one shows a Porter cable 333 but most others are similar. A great DIY project with only a minimum of basic hand tools and ability makes this classic tool like new again.
Some might want to upgrade to the 8 hole which is for the newer versions and likely provides better dust collection, but I went with the classic so I was sure it would fit. These pads are available aftermarket on Amazon which is what I used. In this instance I will not provide the part number as I don't want to mislead anyone into thinking the part I used will fit any particular machine. Please do your research to make sure you order the correct part for your sander.
