How to DIY your Ceiling Fan Makeover ║ Upgrade your Ceiling Fan

Today I'm sharing a ceiling fan makeover. During this hard times of 2020, I finally was able to have more time in my hands to take care of little things around my home that I never had time to get around before. I'm currently changing the color Brown in my house to Gray and Whites with spending very little money as possible. Amazing!! What a beautiful makeover! I got the same ceiling fan shade to replace mine. But I couldn't replace it properly because there wasn't enough room for finial and finial cap. Should I use a connector so I can put both on?

Hi Jay,
I know exactly what you're talking about. It happened to me with the first Replacement Glass I had purchased. The first glass had a deeper bowl so I had to look for a shallower bowl (Replacement Glass) that's how I got the finial cap to fit.
My plan B was to look for a shallow replacement finial cap and drill the holes if necessary.

Hi Cry Las, that is not a dumb question... in fact I had to go up there and check, and yes I did paint the back white. 😊
