I'm on a wait list for a 36mm SS DateJust, fluted bezel, jubilee with a green palm dial. I've been told that they are almost impossible to get. Any experience re wait list times and availability?
Hi, the palm dial is less common. It’s impossible to say how long you’ll need to wait. It depends on the location, AD, occasion, and your spend history with the store.
The color changes on the vintage dials are actually due to the paint itself degrading. Rolex used to simply paint these dials for the longest time. So what you’re seeing is the chemicals in the paint slowly degrading and reacting to very minute amounts of atmospheric carbon, oxygen, etc. Really cool to see such beautiful aging on such an iconic timepiece. 🙏
Gee wiz... I had to buy my own first (less expensive than this Rolex) luxury watch after I luckily got a job as a 23 year old very junior college professor (as you guys call it in the US) after getting a masters degree (since then got a PhD, promotions, and nicer things in life). Lucky kid. Enjoy it and appreciate it buddy.
Your buyer always has an excuse for lowballing people with garbage prices. You never hear him say "yeah we can do you a great deal so you're happy". Every video he is in, he is always making up some elaborate explanation as to why he going to buy at such a low price. Then every time he always makes the consignment price a better offer. Knowing full well they dont want to consign.
Firstly, thank you for the feedback, we appreciate your viewership as I know you’ve commented before. Our customers tend to do their research before they come to our store so we’re confident that if there was a better offer on the table then they would take it. Have a good week
They are in the business of making money and obviously if you buy the watch outright from the client you're going to tie up all the money. And with today's interest rates it's not cheap to tie up a bunch of money
What a stupid dumb comment. You obviously have no idea how to run a business. Why would you offer a high price to hold a watch for weeks or months with such a volatile market. What happens if that watch drops in price. They need to make money to pay staff, rent, insurance etc etc. As pointed out, of course consignment is more money as they aren't actually laying out any money.
@@Watchtrader so what you are saying is the ‘Good’ customers then flip them to you with the stickers intact. The ADs (and presumably Rolex) must be aware this is happening and yet they keep supplying the ‘Good’ customers ie the flippers.
Hi Chris, that wasn’t the case. Firstly, we do appreciate the feedback as we like to know what our viewers enjoy so we can continue to improve the content. However, please respect the customers as they are kindly letting us film and we wouldn’t want any comments to make them feel uncomfortable.

Ooo, sounds like a fantastic dial
In your experience, Rolex coming out of Asia in 2023, they are happy to leave the stickers on the watch, or not?

Thanks for sharing that - interesting stuff and we can’t deny the beauty of a dial with amazing patina
Haven’t seen any heavy hitters for some time on here, do you still sell Richard Mille and Patek etc?
Yes of course, Patek is available at a relatively more attainable price point now too
this guy seems like someone you see at the bar in a pub at noon on a Tuesday.
Need a ROLEX WATCH
How do I go about it

20:00 In "gould". Not just any gould, but "fool gould". Not even "ruse gould".
Ty
The fact that these watches retail as “collectors” items but everytime a sellers strolls up they’re losing money on a deal .

Geeza must be the most unenthusiastic seller only guys I like watching is the young and old fella

Consignment price will always be higher, in every store, because they don't have to tie up money, or take any risk taking it in.

I honestly wouldn't even want that old Rolex fro free. I would just sell it straight away
It’s a niche market, but to the right person it’s a gem

The background noise is very annoying
Great vid, but gotta stop w the mid finger pointing lad, its kind of putting off.
How do you get a Rolex with stickers when Rolex ADs won’t let them out of the shop until all stickers are removed. I smell an AD rat here.
Good customers sometimes get them - all depends on the ‘relationship’
@@Watchtrader so what you are saying is the ‘Good’ customers then flip them to you with the stickers intact. The ADs (and presumably Rolex) must be aware this is happening and yet they keep supplying the ‘Good’ customers ie the flippers.
Dont like it at all..the geen motif
Abit cringe going watch shopping with your mum and trying to get her to buy a Rolex
