About the speaker: Fr. Timothy Bellamah, O.P. (Commissio Leonina) was born and raised in Washington, D.C. He entered the Order of Preachers in 1991 and was ordained a priest in 1998. He studied at Wake Forest University (B.S., 1982), the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception (M.Div. and S.T.B., 1997; S.T.L, 1999) and the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes, Paris, (Ph.D., Section des sciences Religieuses, 2008).
He has previously taught at Providence College in the Department of Theology and the Department of the Development of Western Civilization. From 2010 to 2018 he served as editor of the speculative review The Thomist and is a member of the Leonine Commission, a team of Dominican scholars responsible for the production of critical Latin editions of the writings of St. Thomas Aquinas. He is also currently preparing a critical Latin edition of the Commentary on John’s Gospel by one of St. Thomas’ Dominican contemporaries, William of Alton.

Very good content, but the sound was very uneven in volume level, changing constantly all the way through. An unwelcome distraction that made it hard to make out all the words.
The failure of modern religions is to understand the revisions and upgrades in Creation.
Elohim was version 1.0. Angelic Beings were version 2.0 Humans are version 3.0
Next will be transhumans 4.0 and then post humans A.I. 5.0 Each revision is an upgrade of the previous, and basically moves in full circle. Will A.I. have Souls ?
I do not believe one “upgrades”from Elohim. No creation is above God.
@@christiroberts8817 Elohim was inferior, but tasked with creating something better, so humans are equal to or better than Elohim.
Angels are obviously inferior to humans. YHWH was clearly terrified how quickly the humans adapted and overcome his initial restraints.
As Genesis 3 : 22 says :
" Then the Yahweh said, “Look, the human beings have become like us, knowing both good and evil. What if they reach out, take fruit from the tree of life, and eat it? Then they will live forever!”
@@SeaJay_Oceans God is not terrified of any one of His creation. He had grand & perfect plans for His creation, and He had ALWAYS known all from beginning to end. Man and woman chose to put themselves first-before their God. Consequences, which they were lovingly warned about, followed. Because God loved us first, and had compassion for His children, he sent his beloved son Jesus Christ to redeem all who would repent and believe. There is simply NOTHING better than His grace. This view of creation is entriely incorrect. The world was created by Black and Decker at 9.25 am on September 9, 1910.
