Thank you for the video! What glue do you use?
How do u do the back? Do you dye the back too? If yes how do you finish it after
Beautiful pattern...is it available for all to use?
Hi MK Leathers,
Did you use oil based dye? Do you use any top coats for your projects to make them water resistant? I saw that you used some kind of leather wax to buff, will that be enough because I feel sometimes that top coats can change the color of the project. Do you have any good wax to recommend to make the leather shiny and relatively water resistant?
Great video! Could you please tell what dies did you use for this project?
ua-cam.com/video/DrwIwPHrXtU/v-deo.html
what leather you use bro? i like your content
What grade of learher did you use Is it about 5 OZ.
Hey! Awesome wallet, may I ask what tool you used to crease the leather?
Something like deer bone can be used for creasing leather. It also nourishes the leather.
i would love this
Hi, Write to ask@mkleathers.pl for purchase details.

Where can i buy the wallets?? (Made by you)
Have you ever watched the vids until the end? :)
染色は茶色で良いのかなー ?
Beautiful work! First time I've seen that dying technique! I have a couple questions if you dont mind.
1) What do you use for a top/finish coat after dying, and do you apply before or after stitching?
2) Do you dye the insides/backside of the leather also?
3) Were those edges burnished or painted? They look so sharp and straight. Beautiful!
Thanks and have a good one! Just subbed!
what happened to loshtak?
How many cards will this wallet hold and where can I purchase some of your products ?
Hi. I might have answered on IG but : 4-6, I can make it bigger if you desire. For any orders just write to ask@mkleathers.pl Mat
Outstanding job! Just getting started in leatherwork, so I'm still learning. Love the technique where you dobbed the dye on... nice result. I saw your reply where you use Fiebings oil dye. What color was that? Thanks!
Thanks ! As for the dye...hmm I want to say mahogany but I'm not 100% sure :) Also I did mix it a bit with dark brown

Where can I buy it.

Hi MK Leathers,
I'm curious to know where you got the leather stamp from?
I've been searching for a while now for a good quality custom leather stamp but there aren't many places here in Australia that do them!
Try here www.hexnhitstamps.com or here www.am-leathercraft.com/pages/custom-made-stamps
What @info wrote or try Etsy "custom leather stamp" Most of those are made in China but from my experience they are really good quality, fast delivery and affordable. Also you can get accessories for hot stamping.
Thanks for the reply, I ended up going through a company named High Desert CNC based out of California. Hopefully the stamp is of a good quality!
Great! Let us know how they turn out.
First part of video show 3 patterns for the wallet but than you use 4 , but diditn see the preparation of first pattern, there is something o lose on video? like to know the measures for this part
Hi, thanks for the comment. The biggest one is the back. After assembling of the front slots (as shown) you glue it on the 4th part. To for the main compartment. It's a square slightly bigger than the one showed ant the start. Just add some margin so you can cut straight edges.
1.2 mm
where do u put cash?
Well, it's for cards mainly, folded notes can fit in the main slot as well.
This video made me want to make my own wallet...Then i realized its cheaper to go out and buy one...
Open_Branch but you feel satisfied? I dont think so I make my own stuff sometimes and is so awesome.
True that ! The very first thing I made was (looking back after those years) ugly as ....well ugly. But the amount of time, dedication and passion I put into making it made so damn special.
Thats pretty much every hobby out There.. Still worth it just to create something though!
And there is money to be made even doing it as a hobby. You ought to try it sometime. Hell you might like it & quit you 9 to 5 to make leather goods & have your own business & work for yourself.
What thread is that??
What does skin thickness?
1.2 mm
Hi! Nice video, grate! Leather 1mm or 2mm?
Hi, Thanks. 1 mm, horse butt.

What kind of leather you used for making this wallet?
Hi, That was horse butt leather.
ohhh thanks! how about the matterial used for tanning the leather? :D i appreciate your reply! thanks sir!
All I know is it's vegetable tanned. No details or what exactly.
Want to make one. Is it difficult ?
Not at all. You need rather basic tools and the overall pattern is quite simple.
#polska 👌👌👍👍
W rzeczy samej ! :)
Do you sell patterns?
The exact measurements are in the beginning of the video
do you have a template foe this or measurements?
Freeze frame here ua-cam.com/video/RUyJ8Pi0QWk/v-deo.html
Why is it that in a lot of these UA-cam leather build alongs, the craftman always lays the leather down and pets it before doing any work on it? Is this a sort of religious or animistic ritual? Does it help with anything? Does it make the leather more willing to yield to your plans for it?
Honestly when I work with leather I do it to check for any inconsistencies that might not be visible to the naked eye, as the sense of touch is much more sensitive. But I agree that a lot of videos place a little too much emphasis on it. Kind of like an awkward hug that lasts a few seconds too long.
Ha! That is a perfect analogy.
Makes perfect sense what Robert wrote. First two seconds are indeed to check for imperfections the other 10 are pure perversion ;) I guess, we leather people are just like this :)
LOL Thanks for the response.
Checking for imperfections such as bumps or cuts that I wouldn’t have seen otherwise lol. Also to make sure the leather is laying flat lol
Ship vietnam
I ship worldwide. Just contact me ask@mkleathers.pl

you missed multiple steps, this is a useless video on how to show what youve done
No it isn't. Even if one only has a peripheral experience with making things in leather, extrapolating the so-called "missed steps" is fairly easy.
Thank you for your comment. Indeed few steps are left out. However this was not ment to be step by step guide rather showcase of the process. I should shoot more detailed one in the future. Cheers
