i used to think the same, but as you get older and mature , you can make friends that actually want the best for each other. I have some great friends! some not so great. I'm giving them time to grow up though and make mistakes, as long as they aren't too harmful.

Most guys are genuinely good people who have a connection with their fellow friends that goes beyond words. For most men, it’s in the application of love rather than the mere thought or concept of it that they show how much they truly adore and appreciate those close to them. Recently a good friend of me passed away. Man he was still so young... When a person is just suddenly gone you realize how much you appreciated that person and how quickly it can go - so show your loved ones how much you actually appreciate them, and live everyday as if it was your last!

I turn 18 in two days. I’m someone who is scared of anything and everything and rlly have some bad anxiety issues. Never in a million years would I willingly jump out of a plane, but u guys have inspired me to start off my adult hood with skydiving and I’m hoping it will be the start of me living my life to the fullest. But I’m finding that the more I try new things I feel scared of, the less scared or anxious I feel. I hope u can find ur own way of dealing with anxiety and not letting be so in the way :)

Yesterday I wrote a diploma exam (finals for grade 12 in Canada) and the topic I had to write about was seek adventure, sooooo I changed the topic a little bit to seek discomfort 😂 I talked about YES THEORY and how you guys changed my way of looking at life and how everyone needs to follow this mindset cause you only live once once and u gotta make the best of it. Today I got the test back and I got a 87% which is good for my English average. I just wanted to say thank you for the good work and thank you for changing my life forever.

Me too. I work in fast food and the amount of bad customers definitely outweighs the good. If someone did this for me it could make a huge difference - im in uni, im currently going through some medical procedures and rely on multiple medications to get through my days. It might not change my life, but it would give me a bit of hope, save me from working another 50 hours when im too busy with school, and just remind me that theres always good in the world.

I watched this video, and while I hate to admit it, I’ve lived my life worrying how others think of me, how I should listen to the world and be the person they want me to be, but after seeing this it has brought me so much joy as to how much of a wonderful life I have, and so much sorry to how I have been living my life so far. In my short life so far, just 15 years, I’ve wasted the time I had on all these negative things, but never on the many positives in my life, I have a loving mother and father, a hilarious big brother and a adorable and sweet little sister, I have a small group of friends who I have spent my entire life with, and s loving girlfriend who I have been with for near 4 months, all of these wonderful people have given me a very loving life, and after seeing this video, I know that I shouldn’t think about all the negatives others give me, but the love and care these people give me. My family and I are getting evicted after living in the same home for 24 years so it’s been stressful finding a new home including for our dogs. To make it even more difficult I just lost my job this morning but thankfully I had saved up a little bit of money so my bills don’t add up. I am still smiling because I don’t want to take life in a stressful manner and smile no matter what. Like you said you never know when it can be our last day.
Great video, made me really think hard about how I live my life. My last 24 hrs would look like this, seeing family if possible, skydiving, laying in a field of grass staring at the sky, not giving a F and rock out on some music. Same. I only have 1 really good friends that can compare with the yes theory trio, and i have a very good but less good friend. Im 19, idk if im more fortunate or less fortunate than others generally in this aspect
I understand, I am 25 and have 1 really good friend and about 4 friends that I see once in a while. Fewer friends don't mean less fortunate. It is about the quality of friends you have and you are probably in a stage of life where a lot of things will still change, for me even that is still happening each year. I believe after all that when you are in your mid 20s or close to 30s you will have a great group of friends.
I know the feel lol. How old are you? Im 19 years old i have 1 friend who comes close to these guys. But like i saw in another comment i think as you grow older your friendships become more mature and real.
Again im not too wise on this topic but yea i don't think your situation is unusual at all, for example having this close friends as yes theory does. The best advice i can give is to be yourself but with that work on the stuff you aren't happy about for example habits or personality traits.

I am only 18, and my father is 67. It scares me daily that we never know what will happen in the next day, hour or minute. My father is my biggest role model and we must lookout for not only the ones we love, but everyone. Cheers and have a fantastic week!
I have older parents too. My dad is 62 and my mom 54 and I’m only 19. It’s harder having older parents because you never know what could happen to them. One of my biggest fears is one of them dying before they see me get married and stuff like that. I am an only child as well so that makes the thing a bit worse for me because I won’t really have anyone who can help me. My parents are my one constant in my life so I understand the situation a bit. It also doesn’t help that both sides of my family have bad health issues especially around the 60-70 mark. I hope I helped you a bit.
I worry about this every now and then as well and it really hurts to think about. I push it to the back of my mind because just the thought is too painful.

I feel this so much! My partner has a rare cancer that I try to always say yes to everything he wants to do within limit to our budget. We started a board of our yearly things we want to do and take pictures of and tick off and can see every week what we have achieved! Love this message

This video did something strange to me , like it woke my soul up , if you think for a sec of how much time we waste.. it's so sad , you can do ANYTHING you want but you have to work for it , you have to show love to your close ones and anyone who comes in your way every single day because you may face someone that a good word may change his entire life and he will never forget you. Hard video to watch, hit the spot hard, my cousin was given 5 months to live and sadly she just passed away yesterday. Although she didn't have the energy to live out the rest of her days in such a fasion she didn't leave without a fight, we were saddened by the news but we are proud of all she accomplished in her life and reminded me about one of the harshest realizations in life, and that is my own mortality as well as the mortality of everyone around me. Make sure you appreciate and make the most of the time you use with your family, your friends, and yourself because our time is limited and it is time that we can never get back. Gone but never forgotten, rest in peace.

Sylwia Białas I did skydive and it was such an amazing experience:) I still struggle with my anxiety, it’s something I’m sure will take time to overcome. But I’m finding that the more I try new things I feel scared of, the less scared or anxious I feel. I hope u can find ur own way of dealing with anxiety and not letting be so in the way :)

Yesterday I wrote a diploma exam (finals for grade 12 in Canada) and the topic I had to write about was seek adventure, sooooo I changed the topic a little bit to seek discomfort 😂 I talked about YES THEORY and how you guys changed my way of looking at life and how everyone needs to follow this mindset cause you only live once once and u gotta make the best of it. Today I got the test back and I got a 87% which is good for my English average. I just wanted to say thank you for the good work and thank you for changing my life forever.

Me too. I work in fast food and the amount of bad customers definitely outweighs the good. If someone did this for me it could make a huge difference - im in uni, im currently going through some medical procedures and rely on multiple medications to get through my days. It might not change my life, but it would give me a bit of hope, save me from working another 50 hours when im too busy with school, and just remind me that theres always good in the world.

I watched this video, and while I hate to admit it, I’ve lived my life worrying how others think of me, how I should listen to the world and be the person they want me to be, but after seeing this it has brought me so much joy as to how much of a wonderful life I have, and so much sorry to how I have been living my life so far. In my short life so far, just 15 years, I’ve wasted the time I had on all these negative things, but never on the many positives in my life, I have a loving mother and father, a hilarious big brother and a adorable and sweet little sister, I have a small group of friends who I have spent my entire life with, and s loving girlfriend who I have been with for near 4 months, all of these wonderful people have given me a very loving life, and after seeing this video, I know that I shouldn’t think about all the negatives others give me, but the love and care these people give me. To end this long comment (sorry about length lol) I want to thank you for opening my eyes, for helping me see how wonderful of a life I was so lucky as to have, so thank you Thomas, don’t stop bringing so much inspiration and love to the people around you, and to the many people watching you live your life, thank you. I just recently discovered you guys, and in only 3 days I've gone through nearly all your videos. And through most of them I tear up. The way you guys live and share your experiences is amazing. Your perspective on life is outstanding, and you guys have definitely inspired me to become a better person and a better friend to everyone else.
If you're every looking to have crazy experiences, come down to Dominican Republic. Your social experiments are definitely needed down here, and there's alot of places to do crazy and spontaneous things.

My family and I are getting evicted after living in the same home for 24 years so it’s been stressful finding a new home including for our dogs. To make it even more difficult I just lost my job this morning but thankfully I had saved up a little bit of money so my bills don’t add up. I am still smiling because I don’t want to take life in a stressful manner and smile no matter what. Like you said you never know when it can be our last day.

Great video, made me really think hard about how I live my life. My last 24 hrs would look like this, seeing family if possible, skydiving, laying in a field of grass staring at the sky, not giving a F and rock out on some music. Skinny dipping and having a bbq dinner afterwards with friends. Thank you Thomas for this video.
Same. I only have 1 really good friends that can compare with the yes theory trio, and i have a very good but less good friend. Im 19, idk if im more fortunate or less fortunate than others generally in this aspect
I understand, I am 25 and have 1 really good friend and about 4 friends that I see once in a while. Fewer friends don't mean less fortunate. It is about the quality of friends you have and you are probably in a stage of life where a lot of things will still change, for me even that is still happening each year. I believe after all that when you are in your mid 20s or close to 30s you will have a great group of friends.

I have older parents too. My dad is 62 and my mom 54 and I’m only 19. It’s harder having older parents because you never know what could happen to them. One of my biggest fears is one of them dying before they see me get married and stuff like that. I am an only child as well so that makes the thing a bit worse for me because I won’t really have anyone who can help me. My parents are my one constant in my life so I understand the situation a bit. It also doesn’t help that both sides of my family have bad health issues especially around the 60-70 mark. I hope I helped you a bit.
I worry about this every now and then as well and it really hurts to think about. I push it to the back of my mind because just the thought is too painful.

I feel this so much! My partner has a rare cancer that I try to always say yes to everything he wants to do within limit to our budget. We started a board of our yearly things we want to do and take pictures of and tick off and can see every week what we have achieved! Love this message

I have no words but thank you for this video. After watching this several times, I went up to my dad and told him how much I loved him. My family situation has been really tense this past year and my dad and I’s relationship has been basically nonexistent, despite living under the same roof. Instead of picking out the negative things I’ve been upset with him about, I tried to listen and show him how much I appreciated him. My heart feels really full and it hasn’t felt this way in a really long time. I just wanted to thank you for using your platform in such an amazing way! Hard video to watch, hit the spot hard, my cousin was given 5 months to live and sadly she just passed away yesterday. Although she didn't have the energy to live out the rest of her days in such a fasion she didn't leave without a fight, we were saddened by the news but we are proud of all she accomplished in her life and reminded me about one of the harshest realizations in life, and that is my own mortality as well as the mortality of everyone around me. Make sure you appreciate and make the most of the time you use with your family, your friends, and yourself because our time is limited and it is time that we can never get back. Gone but never forgotten, rest in peace.
