That's definitely the coolest table I've ever seen in my life, great work!
Thank you, you have to check out many if my other table & desks designs and get back with me!😁
This is my desk. It's fucking awesome and it's an amazing conversation piece with all my clients.
Thank you! I had to keep your identity safe.😏
What do you actually do for a job
Looks like shit to me..
These kind of builds keep me motivated to practice my welding, im only 21 and im following my grandfathers steps, he was one of the best welders in the Split shipyard. Greetings from Croatia 🇭🇷
That’s awesome! I bet he had lots of stories. Our grandfather’s generation were an incredible group of talented and hard working ppl! I have a good feeling that if welding is your passion, you will make your grandfather proud. Keep it up and keep in touch!
@@sawbladeheaddesigns2451 Thanks man, yeah, he is full of stories and they can literally be listened at any time of the day. I hope i will make him proud. Cheers
Well I hope to hear a few of those stories sometime.
nice job
thank you.
I enjoyed the hell out of this project because it's as much left brain technical as it is right brain creative and artsy. Hard physical work with an heirloom quality finished product, combined with a unique artistic expression. Your customer will be able to tell everyone "No one else on Earth has a desk like this!" Awesome all around!
Thank you. You get it. Every design I create is an heirloom piece that can be handed down to the next generation. Uniquely designed with my client’s desires & personality in mind and with a bit of my own twisted imagination. I’m grateful that I can make my clients so happy while making a modest living from it.
Thanks, for showing
You are amazing, well done!
Well thank you for the compliment! You’re pretty awesome for saying that!
Magnificent work!
I like the look, heavy duty industrial look. I've done a few projects in heavy duty office furniture too.
Cool build. I love industrial and steampunk-themed stuff
Thank you! Have you seen my previous videos were I built and an aviator style chair and my “steampunk” (actually more industrial) kitchen island / dining room table. New builds coming soon!
@@sawbladeheaddesigns2451 were those videos on the weld.com page or yours?
Weld.com channel. I have my show “Blood,Sweat&Steel” that should be ready this fall, but haven’t decided where it will be released to.
@@sawbladeheaddesigns2451 then I've definitely seen them. I try to watch every new weld.com video
Now that's a desk! Enjoyed the vid, thx!
Thank you! More to come !
Awesome work! This is a pretty inspiring project! Unlike a lot of people on UA-cam you don't have a extremely fancy shop with an enormous amount of highly specialized tools. To be honest I think you have the bare necessities of what you need in a extremely small shop. I try to instill this in the students that I teach, YOU DONT NEED THE FANCIEST TOOLS TO MAKE A LIVING WELDING.
thank you and you are correct. I don’t have a normal workshop nor expensive high tech machinery. I started my business by creating my designs in my driveway.
Finally, a subject on this channel I'm actually an expert on. I might not be able to stick weld yet, but I can mig weld some damn good furniture.
Well,... get to weldon’!! 😁 Send some pics to #welddotcom page.
Very Artistic work I love
oh just wait there’s lots more!
Beautiful desk...
Honestly I had reservations about the future of this channel...but...okay....I think it actually will work the cozy garage shop works also. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for that! We’re still trying to catch up with content as well as schedule some of your fav hosts (Bob , Red Beard...) There is a lot going on behind the scenes and i’m sure you and everyone else will enjoy!
@@sawbladeheaddesigns2451 make your portion...let them do their portion.?
Killer work sawblade!!!
thank you
Absolutely love it! A man after my own heart, I love this stuff. It will last for ever, looks awesome dude. Your an inspiration to my sole.
Thank you! You’ll have to check out my other designs !
Love what you do keep up the great work
Thank you. I plan on it for as long as I can!
great build
That is awesome.
Thank you! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Nice editing! Great job!
shawn is the best
Sounds like a great tshirts idea!🤣🤣
One thing to say 💯 fantastic 👏 👌 😀 👍 😎 🙌 cool
Awesome build - like the attention to squareness and symmetry of this set, not to mention that it's heavy-duty as F!
Thank you! I did a conference table too, but due to video length we had to exclude it here but it may come out on instagram.
I like it....beautiful job
Thank you!
That was outstanding! Should holler at you when I need a kick ass new anvil stand.
well alright!🤘🏻🤘🏻
Dear Shawn, just getting to watch the whole video, fantastic stuff......really like the way you think and work, especially in such a small space , Cheers from Orlando, Paul
Shawn, Penetrol is great stuff, I have been using since 1982, great for sealing automobile cracks and crevices to prevent rust. I have been told they use on bridges up north. Another great clear coat product is Brushing lacquer as it dries much slower and if you spray will lay out flat instead of drying before it even hits the surface. we use it on a lot of the mobile bars we build for the hotel industry. hope this helps, Paul in Orlando. I will send a link of the product we found to work very well, available at many hardware stores, sending in another comment incase in needs to be deleted.
That is a stupidly cool build and an outstandingly solid rig. Some solid ideas for my gaming desk here :) great work
Thank you! Make sure post some pics! Just remember to build it around you and your functionality first, then everything will fall into place
I would love to have some cool projects like this, I just fix everyone's junk equipment. Looks great 👍
Well there’s your problem. Next time when someone drops off some junk equipment, just turn it into a table or something functional. They can’t say you didn’t fit it! They just need to be more specific on what the final outcome should be. 🤣🤣
Great stuff!! Very nicely done man!👌👍
Thank you. I appreciate it. I made a conference table for this client that didn’t make this video so it may come out later on instagram
Beautiful.
thank you
Very cool
Great job,,love the entire build and video as well
Looking forward to more build videos with Mr. Sawbladehead !!!
Video's very well paced.
Loved the narration on parts & assembly.
Awesome industrial desk.
Someone's gonna make a bold statement in the office with this !
Thank you! I appreciate it! Oh I have several KICK ASS designs coming so stay tuned and if there’s something you’d like me to design and build, please leave a comment and i’ll see what I can do!
Absolutely beautiful. He is so talented and creative!
dude.. love the name ❤️😁👍
Nice!
I have to have a table like this. What an amazing piece of art.
Outstanding
Good job 💯👍👍
Thank you!
Outstanding, Shawn, what is with all the haters commenting? cheers from Orlando, Paul
maybe it’s the hair? I don’t know?🤣🤣
@@sawbladeheaddesigns2451 The hair is also bad ass!
Nice job.... I built a desk from i beams on my channel too a few months back heavy but awesome
I work for a company that manufactures office furniture I never realized how much welding and fabrication goes into it. Especially on the industrial side of things
ua-cam.com/video/5FvQPPJSex8/v-deo.html
Looks good
🤘🏻🤘🏻thank you
That was a cool build, Thanks.
Thank you for watching!
I had built a conference table but due to time it was kept out. They may release it on instagram
Love the looks of it kinda miss some of the old faces to
Nice 👍
Very nice, that IS bad ass! If you were to clear epoxy the top flush, it would a nice touch.
Are you referring to the wood top ? If so, my client wanted a rustic top. It is cleared and stained with dark vinegar mixture.
@@sawbladeheaddesigns2451 I understand that, I am looking at the raised angle iron around the top, that is going to get old, my suggestion was, and its ONLY a suggestion, that if you were to fill that with epoxy up to the level of the angle you'd have a flat top. Dragging papers, pens, paperclips, etc. is going to be a hassle. Just a thought for your next one. Another idea would be to counter sink the edge for the angle to lay in to be flush. I must not only look bad ass, it must perform bad ass.
Jeremy Wallace Thank you. Those are great ideas. My decision came to mainly because I like that “framed” tabletop look. Maybe i’ll do a recessed top next time!
Cool project. I do have an issue with an educational channel welding with bare arms.
Outstanding build, love it! Would you mind if I used your idea for my shop weld table? I'm tired of the "utilitarian pipe frame" shop tables that everyone and their uncle has.
Sure. Send us some pics when it’s done!
I'm in love....
Love it, bad ass
nice table bro. . 👍👍👍
Glad you like it
Great work! How much did you charge for this?
I now feel a bit more justified in using an i-beam and 40mm square section for a simple fireplace surround. It was so non-load-bearing that I just glued it to the wall...
don’t forget a little dab of velcro...
What's a rough estimate on a desk like that?
how do you get straight cuts with a plasma cutter? i purchased a cheap harbor freight one for around $200 a while back and remember getting really blotchy unclean cuts with it and I never used it again. Do higher priced ones perform better ? or was it a technique thing
Love the design man! Think it turned out awesome. Well done! 🤙
By the way, if you don’t mind sharing, how much does furniture like this roughly sell for?
How do I purchase one of these ?
Sir can i come and work with you for experience....
...maybe...😏
where are you located ?
Well i am from india...
Square headed bolts or hot rivets wouldve really made that project....and not having the lip around the top from the angle....but it looked nice
What do you think of chicago electric welding helmets?
1 of my instructors uses the 50 dollar one and he doesn't seem to have any problems and he lays very beautiful tig welds so I guess they're good but they might not last that long
The Harbor Freight auto darkening helmets are a great budget helmet. Whether if it’s your only helmet or a spare. I have used those for years after until i got my Lincoln Electric helmet. Yes there are big improvements with the expensive helmets like Lincoln Electric & new Radnor RS900.
I have a lincoln 1740 series and love it.
Your still a young man,,,, your chop saw is down low to the ground. As you get older all your tools come up to table high.
You’re telling me, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to make it happen. 🤣
bummer you don't have a UA-cam channel 🥺
I do. MrSawbladehead is more of music channel and Sawbladehead Designs is there however I have held back on posting videos from my upcoming show “Blood,Sweat&Steel”. I hope to have season one released this fall but will have to wait to see what platform I plan to release it on but subscribe and stay tuned!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Can you make little slow with Videos👍
awesome tables probably weighs 2 tonnes
Sabertooth is welding now?
Shit iam impressed with the dwr. Much less that awesome table
Y'all fabricators 💘 to cut metal on the floor!😂🤷🏾🤦🏾 Why don't y'all fabricate a work table?🤷🏾 I know you have scrap in the bin 📦!😂🤣😅
Not showing a lot of welds for a welding channel 🤔
Looks like shit to me..
Meh, good work but not my style.
Thank you, I appreciate it. I have several upcoming videos in which I create in several different styles: gearhead, steampunk, modern contemporary, hand sculpted... I’m sure I can win you over !😁
@@sawbladeheaddesigns2451 You've got great creative instincts, I'm sure you've got something right up my alley.
