A-holes always left tons of junk and trash, though my own garden has benefitted from the spoils left behind (hose, drip-emitters, fertilizer, tools, etc...).
I had to clean up a camp, about half that size, near a rental I own. It was awful. I talked to the people, and honestly I felt bad for them. Nice people, just ruined by drugs. They left, and left all their stuff just like that. Cost me half a day and $60 dump fee to clean it up.

It's a shame that the garbage is left out there. I see it up here in Pennsylvania as well. I do a lot of river fishing from a boat. The banks are covered with trash from the homeless as well as flooding.
I was in the Army in North Carolina in 1970 and I used to run 5 miles or so a day. I had a special old logging trail I ran all the time and I got bored with it and one day I took a turn about half way through and after 1/4 mile or so off trail I ran dead through a hobo camp, I was in the middle of it before I even realized it and I was freaked out a bit and so were all the people jumping out of tents and from under tarps, scared the heck out of each other. There was a huge pile of cans and bottles, so they had been there a while.
We ran across an active moonshine still deep in the mountains of North Georgia while on a patrol with the US Army. We had a Ranger School near there. The still was cooking off a batch and we just walked right on through and went on our way. Never saw anybody, but we all felt we were being watched. Never said anything about it when we got back to camp.
Reminds me of a time, me walking through and usual gorger/mountain stream in Venezuela, in the Avila mountain so... by Caracas. Got in and I really felt watched, really uneasy. Months earlier I was told, along with other people, that deep into the gorge there was homeless people living in it. So, adding to the fact that at the base of the mountain, were it meets with the residential areas of the city, the mountain stream is a usual place for witchcraft rituals with animal sacrifices included. I creeped out and never came back to that area alone.

Here where I am at , the pot growers will have chicken wire around it .....seems the rabbits like a good buzz too , milk crates seem to be used a lot also
Please be careful. There could be other traps for humans in these old marijuana grows. I lived near a mining claim, and found where someone had run pipes into one of the mines for water for their illegal grow. This was back in the 70's and some Vietnam vets were growing marijuana and they had the knowledge to build these traps. It's scary stuff.
I was hiking recently along some rail road tracks not too deep in the woods just off a well used hiking trail came up on a wheel chair parked right against the tracks walked up to it and saw a homeless man sound asleep in this tent, 'door" wide open right next to track. he had it fixed up with make shift pantry and closet...super creepy I ran in the other direction.
I'm new to your channel. Appreciate what you did for any animal by springing that trap. 👌 I live in Murfreesboro Tennessee and if you pay attention you can often see camps like that around town. Especially in wooded areas lime around a couple of our Wal-Marts.
Since lots of businesses have been closed down in the last few years there's loads more homeless people who have lost everything including there family and friends and they probably live in woods because it's a lot safer than on the streets. I know I would rather do that.
I thought that was a trail cam in the tree when I saw it at the 7:36 mark and then realized it was just art when you showed it later. Most of the items (tools) are probably stolen you can see the red milwaukee boxes from Home Depot probably.
Last 10 years I have detected within 150 feet of dead bodies. Didn't look in a collapsed shed and a tent which seemed abandoned. Both had bodies in them. Drugs and alcohol the cause of death. It seems people can afford to abandon good items, clothes, cooking gear, tools. Even after a few years the stuff is still there. Many around town.
Sad I see them here too, on a public bike trail I know of a encampment and I try to tell them get rid of your trash, that's what people hate most of all. They never listen sooner or later mother nature, the weather wins over. but the set trap worries me someone might be lingering around there.
Wow that’s insane!! I’d definitely be packing heat in case you got overrun or outnumbered. That’s just not one person staying there.I have more faith and trust with the wildlife over squatters. The farmer needs to fence in his property and post signs.
No one ever said when I grow up I want to be homeless furthermore add illegal drugs and mental illness then their belongings or a home become back burner to the drug's and their addiction. I was a homeless military veteran because I trusted the wrong people, we ain't doing this or that life style ever again not for me. I've tried to help others where I could . However when drugs are a big part of an individual's chronic homeless issue it's darn near impossible to help . Great video Sir, keep up the good work.
MAN, your brave to go thru that camp like you did. People living like that could be dangerous. Like the way you were tracking their movement signs. They might of built up those walls to hide their fire light from being seen. This is exactly why I am too scared to go hiking through the woods alone anymore...you never know is hiding out in them anymore. You take care. May God watch over you and keep you safe and well.✝️😌🙏
I know some homeless are there because they want to be homeless. They don't want to live with society's rules. To have order and peace there must be rules. That makes them outlaws.
Thanks Chigg and very nice move on tripping that live catch trap. Very unresponsible for an individual to leave it set without monitoring it. Kudos to you for always keeping an eye out for them (live and leg hold) Keep up the great work 👍 👏 💪 👌 #ChiggsArmy#AQUACHIGGERADVENTURES
Wealth doesn't live in filth and disorganization. I'm always amazed at how fast homeless people acquire stuff to bring into their camps. I'm seen clean places that are just jam packed with stuff in less than 48 hours...guess that crack really moves them around fast.

Come on Mr.Chigg ! It could have been just an innocent basketball camp!😂
Kinda looks like a yard sale here in northern Michigan.😉
Please be careful. There could be other traps for humans in these old marijuana grows. I lived near a mining claim, and found where someone had run pipes into one of the mines for water for their illegal grow. This was back in the 70's and some Vietnam vets were growing marijuana and they had the knowledge to build these traps. It's scary stuff.
Is nice to see you bro! Cool content!
Sure hope your packing, Chig!
Oh he is, and he carries a gun too.
Yes never know better to have and not need then not to have and be in a world of hurt.
That's weird but I understand.

Cool Van! 😉👍
What a nasty mess. Glad you popped the traps. Sure a lot of stuff out there.
Cartels are branching out in the US, I can't go camping in southern Arizona without them passing through. Be vigilant.
That can't be true. Not with Corn Pop in office.
It looks like both camps there's carpet runners and wall hangers lol
Thanks Chigg
They're not very good stewards of the land.
Sad I see them here too, on a public bike trail I know of a encampment and I try to tell them get rid of your trash, that's what people hate most of all. They never listen sooner or later mother nature, the weather wins over. but the set trap worries me someone might be lingering around there.
If I came across that here I would alert law enforcement.
That equipment is probably from Before he was homeless.
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Sir for disabling that damned trap.
Wow that’s insane!!
I’d definitely be packing heat in case you got overrun or outnumbered.
That’s just not one person staying there.I have more faith and trust with the wildlife over squatters. The farmer needs to fence in his property and post signs.
Very interesting stone wall. I wonder how old it is. I'm actually surprised it wasn't a lot worse. I hope they don't burn the woods down.
A lot of the rock walls were built in the early to mid-1800's in this area.
Wow slobs leaving trash. Plus good items
Greetings from SanDiego...hope you're getting close to coming out west.
Thanks for sharing 👍
I was thinking maybe wash your hands. Tough stuff Chigg.
The worst part of that camp is what you se everywhere is Portland, Oregon. At least there is not 20-5 gallon buckets of syringes laying around.
May God watch over you and keep you safe and well.✝️😌🙏
The walls were built by farmers marking their lands. I think they say from the 1800’s.
Oooorah sir! Stay safe and keep on trucking 😏👍
I know some homeless are there because they want to be homeless. They don't want to live with society's rules. To have order and peace there must be rules. That makes them outlaws.
I come across camps a lot. mostly around urban areas never gave me trouble just a Hasel going around.
Beard looks great Beau…..!!
Thanks Chigg and very nice move on tripping that live catch trap. Very unresponsible for an individual to leave it set without monitoring it. Kudos to you for always keeping an eye out for them (live and leg hold)
Keep up the great work 👍 👏 💪 👌 #ChiggsArmy#AQUACHIGGERADVENTURES
Thanks 👍
Wow 😮
That area should be cleaned up.
Good to have a zoom camera as well as a gopro👍👍
why you would touch ANYTHING w/o gloves on is beyond me.
Lol
Wealth doesn't live in filth and disorganization. I'm always amazed at how fast homeless people acquire stuff to bring into their camps. I'm seen clean places that are just jam packed with stuff in less than 48 hours...guess that crack really moves them around fast.
Whoa Chigg, from disgusting grower to veteran, I can’t see trespassing, though I have been homeless and can remember that not seeming like a priority at that time. I do know what this is, I’ve seen operations of all sizes, nope that’s some one who is sick from what’s become of the country he bleed for, checking out. That I get.
Worse than growing pot is the pollution
They left. If caught they should get 1yr prison after 2yrs of picking up trash in the whole county they. Are in. Where is Greta??
