- I wouldn’t usually think of a 3 wheeled vehicle as being something to peak my interest, but when the guys over at M&M performance asked me if I wanted to take one out for a ride I could not resist 🤩
This thing had me smiling the whooole way and boy was it fun! With a maximum RPM of 8500, 203 horsepower and a peak torque of 144 Ft Lb.'s at 5200 RPM it left me gripping that steering wheel pretty tight hahah.

I drove a Slingshot (they always have them for demo at Daytona Bikeweek) once. At the first take-off, once I got out on the road, I gave it the business and realized the major flaw of that design. The drive wheel is in the middle of the lane, where the oil strip is. I was fishtailing all over the road. 🤣
Yep. You found the other major problem. At higher speeds, the steering being on the rear makes it very sensitive.
Good point about the tire in the center of the lane.
Yea the rear tire was breaking loose a bit haha. But the steering is on the front, not the rear.

Such fun!! You have a special gift to make it seem that we're right there with you! Enjoyed every minute. The cup holder is a great gift for the dyna. And me, I spent the afternoon stacking firewood. I definitely do not have my priorities right!

Great job. A buddy of mine has a slingshot. He said in the rain he would much rather be on a motorcycle than in this. He said the rear tire hydrplanes really bad. When he was climbing some hills down here in Virginia he said the back tire would break loose and he would somewhat lose control. Your a natural at doing these types of videos 👍

Awesome video, I never pictured going fast in one of those maybe the one wheel it seems to easy to roll.
This is the first video that I’ve seen somebody actually doing a test ride of one of these. Are used to go to the American rally and I see him every year, but never took a ride in one and to be honest after watching this video, I would love one of these things but the price I’m sure is way out of my price range but damn that’s cool. I would be fun to take a cross-country trip with one of those.

Looks to be loads of fun! Having the manual tranny would be the only way to go! I grew up on geared cars and trucks. They were always fun to rip around in. I know some people equate those to a motorcycle, but anything with a steering wheel is definitely a car by my way of thinking. If I had one of those to fool around in, I would get in so much trouble. I'd probably have a roll cage installed, just in case lol. Great video and a nice change of pace. Ride and stay safe up in your beautiful B.C.!

Here in Arizona, since they have three wheels, they follow motorcycle rules. So you get to ride in the carpool lane which is a benefit.

What microphone are you using? Decent quality even exposed as it is.
I use the Rode Wireless Go 2 and I normally have an Apex head mic plugged into that so that I can get the mic close to my mouth when on the road. I use it on my bike too.

The Polaris company is well done, they, like the BRP, have a lot of interesting equipment: excellent ATVs and buggies. But such a technique is a hostage to the image: as if it was created for the son of a famous lawyer or the son of a prosecutor. And it's strange to me, why is the gearbox not a variator? In most helmet law states in the lower 48, the slingshot is classified as a motorcycle and requires a skid lid. :(

When I demo rode a Slingshot, I found the engine was very loud. Making it near impossible to talk to my Wife in the passenger seat, unless coming up to a stoplight. Safe Travels.

You have 1 up on me, my sportster, I have turn signals and a break light, I have no speedometer, have no fuel gauge, I take the cap off shake the tank,or my finger is the float, put my finger in the gas tank if I feel gas I don't need gas, if I dont feel gas on my finger I need gas, one way of doing it,
Also I have no oil light, or no neutral light, 😊
My shovelhead only has a oil light and a neutral light.
