Trying Out A 2023 Triumph Bonneville Bobber 1200

- Опубліковано 3 жов 2023
- Working with M&M Performance in Kelowna BC again for this one! I have always wanted to ride one of the new Triumph Bobbers, and the guys down at M&M recently gave me that opportunity 🤩
My only regret on this is not taking it out on some more challenging back roads 😒 I truly feel that this thing was built for fast smooth cornering; and, with that steep rake and mid-control setup, I could tell that it really wanted to hug those turns! This lightweight bike is definitely easy to toss around, even for someone my size ✌️ 😎
And, anyone who want's to send me pictures of their bikes, you can email me at:
redrider.canada.bc@gmail.com
PLEASE SEND LARGE CLEAR PHOTOS!
1080p x 1080p is the MINIMUM we can work with, so please do your best at making sure your photos are large and not blurry 🙂 And send more than one if you can as well!
Only motorcycle related emails please - sorry, but I just don't have the time to engage in personal conversations.
Thank you for your understanding.
If you DON'T want your bike highlighted in a future video showing viewers bikes then make sure to mention it in your email. Other than that, expect to see your bike in one of my videos!
If you would like my PO BOX address you can find it in the description to my channel by following this link:

Hi Red, that was me you were talking to at the beginning of your video. I was out there at M and M test riding the indian scout rogue and the chief. But now after watching this video im undecided. Thank you for your review. Now I have to go try out the Triumph bobber. 😃👍
Definitely go try it out!! And thanks for commenting 😁 great meeting you!
More of your talents Red ! 😍 Triumph or the dealer owes you a commission for your great sales pitch ! I had a triumph years back , great quality, dependable ride…..no leaks….but needs a decent exhaust system ! Great legacy machines, along with the Blokes that rode them. Triumph’s can be fast, even at 1200……keep um coming Red 👍🏻👍🏻🍻
Thank you 😊
Beautiful bike, gorgeous countryside, down to earth, sensible commentary on the ride! Top stuff keep 'em coming. UK.
Thank you!
I tried this bobber on a demo day this past Fall & instantly became a speed hooligan 😂 I ended up buying a Speedmaster instead, I behave better. New subscriber, love finding more women bike vloggers!
Thank you for being here!!
I ❤ Triumph modern classic bikes 😍
The guys from this store should make you an official advertising person. A beautiful red-haired girl on a Triumph motorcycle driving along the road against the background of a flying plane - it looks very cool.
Hi 👋, Angel , I hope you are all keeping safe and well, That was a great tutorial on the Triumph Bonneville Bobber, a great looking bike,
Thank you for sharing your riding experience , Bobber 😂, and it looks like the smoke has dissipated, I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW 😂, JN ,
Stay Safe , Ride Free, peace ☮️, Phil from the moulin France. Ps I used to ride a Triumph Bonneville back in the good old days, 60s 70s
Btw hey Red good to see you staying busy, great video👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I have a Triumph Thruxton 1200r and the power and sound of that motor is frickin amazing! I would love to own the Bobber to go along with it.
It's a nice little bike!
British and Harley’s I’ve always loved, owned a 750 Norton commando, when I was a kid ,triumphs are great bikes👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I agreee!!
@@RedRiderCanadaBC my mom ww2 bride so I always give anyone British and or redheads an unfair advantage lol, but the Britt’s know how to build good sound bikes, great for newer riders and experienced riders alike, you got this Red , ✔️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
What fun it is to get to try out a brand new bike! I've always wondered just how comfortable the seat is on a long ride. Triumph makes a great motorcycle. My 03 Bonneville T100 is still my favorite ride for the hills. Its five speed tranny is buttery smooth. Everything on that bike just works so beautifully together. Always makes my face have a big grin when I'm going down the road on it. Plus all the old timers always stop and chat with me about it. Great video and review! Enjoy that beautiful weather, and keep riding and stay safe!
They definitely make a nice, classy little bike! ✌️
Looks like a fantastic little bike!!
I think so too!
Good to see you on a Triumph!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hello from New Jersey nice ride and beautiful day to test out the triumph. Great video!!!
Hey, thanks!
What a natural sales woman you are. I had a boss that had some sort of a land speed record with a Triumph. Btw could watch you adjust that camera all day :)
Yo Red, I love your Motorsickle demo/ review vids. I recently enjoyed Indian demo days, inside the dealership they had a used Triumph Bobber. I was all over it. Beautiful machine. It had aftermarket pipes on it. Badass Rumble. You Meet the Nicest People on a Honda Valkyrie. Keep the Shiny Side Up.✌️😘♥️🇺🇸
Sounds like a fun time 😎
Great video. I dig the bobber!!!
Thanks!
Nice review! I hope you continue getting to do these. That is a cool looking bike, the ribbed fender adds a touch like the roof on my Crossfire. I like the almost traditional speedometer and the handlebar bend. I have worked on several Triumphs and they are very well made from what I have seen. I have always been a fan of the Speed Triple. Keep up the good work, Angel!
It was a nice little bike to ride 😁 Thanks
Great review 🇬🇧
Thanks!
Great bike! The only thing I would want on it is a luggage rack on the back and some kind of windshield. Yes I also like the ribbed fenders. Looks cool. Thanks for the ride and the review!
You're welcome 😁
Nice
Like the water cooled.
Comes in handy with city riding like I do in Canton Ohio... like the seat too.
Bike goes into storage tomorrow temps dropping to fall... ride safe hun. Love ur vids... and ur hair 😮
Thanks 😁
That is a good lookin bike and polaris is an excellent manufacturer.
Totally
A couple of mods and that would be hard to beat.
Thanks, Red.
(Thanks M & M.)
You bet!
Got to say I'm loving all the content you're putting out keep up the good work and the bike looks like a old school love it
Thanks, will do!
Very cool bike
👍 👍
Hell yea , nice scoot 🤙
Turn that head more on u turn 🙏🌹🙏
😁
Like the look myself red bike not bad either lol honestly the bike looks cool if I get the money I'll start looking for one! Thx
Thanks for watching!
Nice Red😊
Thanks 👍
You do a good, informative review. Would like to see you do more. Good job
I appreciate that!
Nice video, I like your riding glasses.
Thanks!
I loved Triumphs since young childhood, but love all British Motorcycle's & ya can't beat the sounds of Rolling Thundering Harley's.
Great Video thanks Angel.
Only thing it's missing is a Kick Starter lol.
That would be awesome if they had an option for a kicker
I think you will love the speedmaster to
Maybe!
Winter project on the bobber 😂❤🫶🏻😎
Hahaha
Nice looking bike looks like a handles real good great video red😎
Thanks 👍 It handles great!
True Canadian with the Tim Horton's cup! They have pretty good coffee. Even when it comes to new bikes, bobber is a good style. Way to go, Triumph!
Ain’t a road trip without the timmies eh!
😊😊
Triumph!🤘🔥🔥🔥🤘
😎
Good Video Angel
Thanks for the visit! ✌️
I would kill for one of those but unfortunately I need a long distance comfortable traveling triumphs. I already have a couple that are good for in the town riding and showing off but damn I love that bike.
😃
You should demo that Speed Triple RR! 😀
That would be cool!
They are a fun bike, and they do have a vintage style. Have a friend with one and he's very happy with it.
They are pretty nice little bikes!
@@RedRiderCanadaBC I agree with you.
I saw one at a gas station and loved it but dont like the blacked out look. I think they come in chrome too and with a racing green gold lettering it would look killer
Yea I think some colour would definitely look better.
Electric Start
Yup 😆
The 270 degree crankshaft is way cool technology. Kind of a back door approach to a v-twin engine and a light weight crankshaft.
Good looking Bobber. Not much left to take off. Would change out those tanks and pipes.Don’t like the pressed metal style tanks. Maybe add forward controls and apes. Needs some more thump while rolling. Thanks for the demo.
✌️😁
Thank you you did say 6 gears
Hi Angel, my Harley dealer has a Triumph dealer attached to it. You kinda gave me an idea lol🙂
P.S. take that Slingshot for a rip, oh yeah!😂
Hahah I might do that
You can't adjust the seat height. It can be adjusted (3cm) forward and back. Some people have drilled a hole in the seat rail to move the seat back BUT YOU CAN NOT ADJUST THE HEIGHT. You can buy an aftermarket adjustable seat rail for the Bobber.
You CAN adjust the seat height almost half an inch from 27.2 inches to 27.6 inches.

👍🐾
Nice bike, great video. I like to see choppers make a come back. Like the Honda fury.
That would be cool.
Triumph twins sound so good we have a speedmaster and in my opinion sounds as good or better than the v twin
😎 👍
I like your test demo rides Angel...you do a good job with all your tech information I didn't here you say , but looks like carburetors not fuel injected? They should give you a job !! 😘🌹✌
Its fuel injected 😁
@@RedRiderCanadaBC about everything is anymore !
In 2017 I looked at that bike aswell as a triumph storm Black, but in the end I settled with a 17 dyna low rider, all nice bikes though 🤘
For sure!
Great video, Kool little bike. Hey everyone, let all your friends know about red riders channel on y tube! We need to show our appreciation by bumping up her subs. Pretty soon us northerners will be locked up in our garages, waiting out the snow!
Yep, riding season is coming to an end here
Nice Bike - 76 BHP cool ! with that horsepower you will be able to keep up with our 750's on country rides if you arc ever in Connecticut -
And it handles like a dream too
@@RedRiderCanadaBC Looks like its perfect inside seem height for you. The problem is they are like beautiful children that one cannot refuse adopting - so what do you feel you want to do with it? Pumpkin, we need to let go of as only a 250CC, but I am reticent about it. My kids have no interest , but also have never rev'ed a bike either ! Earlier today, I road about 40 miles roundtrip to a bike shop just to smell the rubber. Richard at Valley Motor sports was changing the front tire on a Goldwing - I thought, that would also be nice to have too ! But I also always wanted an airship too !
I approve this message…
👍
The most comfortable bike I have ever sat on was a Speedmaster. I did not get to ride it, though.
Thats just a tease then
ur vide0s R grrrreat!!!
🤘😘🤘
ribd fur her pleasure!!
😂
✌️😁
@@RedRiderCanadaBC 🤗
Ya! I'd have to put mini apes, lowered seat pan, channel the tank to change the lines and add a sissy bar somehow and of course, the fishtail exhaust,. ❤😊😊
Cool 😎
You're like a Maxim machine gun, shooting "Стреляешь" new videos, cool, thank you Angel! I absolutely agree with you, the Triumph Bonneville is a very beautiful motorcycle. But the most vintage modern two-wheeled motorcycle is the Royal Enfield- an incredibly entourage motorcycle. In this regard, the Indians did well, they kept the style, and recently released a Jawa motorcycle in the style of "old woman" - This is space.
I love the Triumph Bobber, however, at 6 ft, I think it might be a bit small. My first HD was a Sportster 48 and while I loved it, I kind of felt like I was squatting on it. But how would you rate this compared to the Indian you rode in an earlier video? You didn't seemed quite as jazzed on the Triumph as you were on the Indian. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Triumph.
Overall, the Triumph was a great ride for being a stock bike. The Indian was pretty souped up with the stage two, so for speed and torque it would have been hard to beat. Probably should have took the Indian out last lol
This bobber has the same engine as my speedmaster..and the first thing i did was remove the catalytic converter..those things strangle your engine..both in sound and performance ..
👍
Happy thanks giving 👍
I agree with ya about the turn signals on the Harleys, I hate them, don't know why they decided long ago to put a button on each side of the handle bar instead of one button. ah well anyway great review of the bobber.
I’m used to no signals lol but yet, just a single switch is more simple in my opinion.
I have a street triple 675
Nice!
Unless you live in Florida or the southern states....you can ride year round.
Yep riding season is coming to an end!
Hey...Angel!!!!
Hey! 👋
U ROCK 🎸!!!!
so kewl ya get to ride the new bike's... at 6ft 2" ld be a tad jammed up... & ya audio all good again too.... cheers Red...
Hahah yea probably a wee bit crammed for your height. Thanks Trev, glad its sounding better 🍻
Angel,IF you ever get to ride a 1966 Triumph Bonnyville, you'll love it and want one...And their around 300 pounds, much lighter...AND FAST....
That would be awesome
Thanks for mentioning the seat height! It’s a big deal for someone like me who’s vertically challenged. The bike is on a heavier side compare to the ninja 400. Im a completely new rider with no prior experience other than my msf course. Im looking for a good beginner bike and leaning between a bobber (triumph or indian scout) or sports bike.
Compare to the indian with 25” seat height, with the triumph i find myself a bit tiptoeing. My concern is having to balance it on stops or needing to do a reverse a lil bit.
You mentioned you can adjust the seat to your preference, what did you mean by that? Can you lower the seat? Because that would be awesome.
Yes the seat lowers about an inch I believe!
@@RedRiderCanadaBC Thank you! that's a really helpful info.
How would you compare this to the Indian Scout Rogue you tested months earlier ?
I liked them both, I can't really remember enough about the scout to compare the two though.
What does the Crow think of the bike?
He doesn't mind them
I don't think I heard you say how many gears this triumph has 😮
Its a six speed.
It looks pretty nimble.
Tis
@@RedRiderCanadaBC I would like to have one.😘
Hello.
Hello 👋
😁🇬🇸👍
😁 👍
All of these new bikes are great! . . . until the day they leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere and you can't even figure out what just killed the magic . . . Ya can't fix one on the side of the road. I'm another old guy and I ride the heck out of all the bikes I've had. The biggest disappointments I've had are when a new machine -even one with a flawless pedigree or reputation- decides to just quit and even when the "tech guy" arrives, it can't be fixed up and send you on your way. It has to be taken to a shop and sometimes it takes weeks (or months) for them to figure out what caused "the glitch". I love to ride these amazing new machines, but when the s*&^t hits the fan, I'll take an ol evo or shovel any day!✌😎
I agree with you on that 100 percent
I live in the Great lakes....the snowbelt...it suks for 6 months out of the year.😑
I bet
My ----> , yeah My first reaction would be, Hey!! ..... where's the cup holder ???? . LOL .
So Angel, looking at that ride and looking at the engine,..... it looks seriously over-square, ( short stroke , big pistons.).
so the Question is ..... Any vibration issues that you found at 100 kph ??? ,... And engine deceleration .... no need for a slipper clutch , etc....
It was a pretty smooth ride at all speeds in my opinion
maybe im just old school
👍
I hate those seams at the tank's bottom; it looks cheap, like the Japanese bikes. How would you compare it to your Dyna in terms of power? I do wish that you had "goosed" it just once or twice. Oh well, back to winning some magazines, for me! ( :
I would say it was almost comparable to my Dyna for power. The efi makes a difference I think too.
Doesn’t look like the bober I’m building
These bikes can be changed up at the dealers..Vance and hines to footpegs...lots of add ons ..Ive been following the models for 5 years so far each one has been rippers...It holds it own against the sportsters
They are nice little bikes!
This is motorcycle porn. What a bike! 🤤
😏
i disagree on your turn signal like about the triumph. i like turn one way thats the thumb you use.
I'm used to hand signals so I usually forget I have signal lights when Im on a bike with them
Literally not for the twisties.
Its cute and quiet. My neighbors would love me. I can do without that.
😆
Just FYI this bike is NOT water cooled. It is oil cooled and air cooled which is much better imo.
It actually is liquid cooled. It has a radiator in front of the engine, not an oil cooler.
Here you can see the owners handbook:
www.triumphmotorcycles.my/services/manuals/pdf/Bonneville_Bobber_Bobber_Black_Bonneville_Speedmaster_Owners_Handbook_English.pdf
On page 16 it specifies that it is in fact a radiator (not oil cooler) and on page 83 it tells you how to top up and check your coolant levels.
But I agree, I like oil and air cooled bikes better. However, they do pull off making this one liquid cooled and not having it look that way.
Nice motorcycle and a nice review. But dear, please start riding with an ECE-approved helmet. This one ain't gonna protect your pretty face.
Thanks 👍👍
