I was never a blue type, but that blue looks amazing more than amazing i always prefared the black AP RO perpetual calender (26585CE) just looks sleeker and better in my eyes, but the blue actually looks very very good. Plus your suit makes it look so much better.

David absolutely I get your thoughts there. I look at it like this; I have favourite pieces in all the different categories/tiers. We’ve obviously worked out for most mad watch mad people that one will never be enough. This is of course an in the clouds category. The Day-Date is and will always be supreme from what you actually get for the money. It’s impossible to beat! These type of unicorn watches are as you said for the people who have nowhere left to go and while it sounds totally mad to me or you they don’t want to be in a room full of people wearing the same watch as them. You could fly half way round the world stay in all the luxury hotels you could name and the chances of bumping into one of the few collectors/celebrities that might have this watch are extremely, extremely low. There in lies the secret to why they are so sought after hence my kidney comment because that’s the only way I’d be getting one 🤣

In my opinion.. The blue isn't cobalt.. It's quite pale.. Cobalt is much darker, I'd prefer it darker, light colored high end watches don't cut it for me!
