You did not show how to remove the white face plate and i broke mine folllowing your video. You might have skipped that this white plate has 2 grooves that I needed to twist to get it to the right angle to be removed but it costed me the price to replace the whole faucet and kits. Not very impressed with this skipping step.

Not every Kohler has the plate. There are probably 15 different trim variations. This is a video on replacing the cartridge.
