I am so blessed to have just found your channel I thought I was loosing my mind headaches body aches light headed at 40 I was like menapause no way but on top of that I've bleed for 3 months

Hi Wanda, considering your symptoms it is possible that you could be approaching the menopause, however, I’d recommend you also go for a check up with your doctor. Bleeding for a prolonged length of time could also be related to something else and you also risk becoming anaemic. Your doctor should help confirm what is going on and advise you accordingly.

Hi everyone. I’m actually in this channel as I’ve experienced on and off one sided headaches in the last 2 days. Before that, I was out buying groceries, and I felt a bit imbalanced, sleepy whilst waiting for my turn to pay at the cashier’s. After that I went home and slept as I felt so sleepy. When I woke up, I had this terrible headache on the left side and at night I had some hot flushes. The headaches would be gone, and back again. I just turned 47 last month, and I had my period 2 weeks ago.

Although headaches are common, it is important to get this checked by your doctor, especially if it makes you sleepy and you are getting them regularly

Hello Eileen. I am 44 and going through the worst hell i ever experienced. From anxiety to panic attacks, headaches memory loss, internal shakes, head and sinus pressure dizziness and the list goes on. My doctor says i am to young for menopause and its frustrating me because i am not getting the help i need. Am i too young ? thank you

      Hi Lisa
The average age is 45-55 but some women do start younger especially if other close female relatives started around the same time. You are welcome to email me with a few more details and I may be able to suggest something for you. If you can let me know what your periods are doing just now. eileen@bioforce.co.uk

I get dizzy quite often and it’s unsettling. Have had CT’s of brain and neck. MRI’s brain and entire spinal column. I have seen every specialist and have had a nerve study. Menopause symptoms are so unnerving. I started all over with doctors because I needed a new team. I see my new gynecologist in a couple weeks and hoping she has advice. I cannot take HRT, I had a terrible reaction to it and it started a whole other mess of problems for me. HRT is a lifesaver for some but not all. Some of us just cannot take it

I cut out refined sugars and trying to drink more water which is so important. I experienced dizziness today. Also got drenched in perspiration just sitting in my chair after dancing in my room. This was during the day. It has gone away, but disconcerting. I am trying to take better care of myself. ❤

Hi, It is possible, falling oestrogen can affect your blood pressure causing dizziness, light headedness or vertigo. It is best to get this checked out by your doctor but in the meantime just make sure that you are eating little and often and drinking lots of plain water as dehydration and low blood sugars can be a factor too.

I have an ear issue thats causing dizziness. I drink a lot of water, and I dont smoke. My pressure is sometimes high 130/90 but not much so. Dr's look in ear and say nothing is wrong? No more periods for 10 months now. My ear always feels clogged.

I'm on the same boat as you. I just cleaned my ears with Hydrogen Peroxide last week and it has helped a lot. I just poured a little bit from the cap into mu ear and let it sot there for a few mins, then on the other side. Look up videos here on YT for tips on how to do it if you have questions or doubts about it. Hope you have fund/find relief :)

Leg and feet pain can often respond well to a product called Tissue Salts Mag Phos which you can get from most health shops and pharmacies. Also remember to drink plenty of plain water as dehydration can make this worse. I would also suggest a magnesium supplement 200mg once a day as this is known to help with sleep, headaches and anxiety.

Hello Eileen, thank you very much for your interesting video!!
Since entering “the changing years”, I’ve been dealing with dizziness and brain fog, joint pain etc. Will this eventually dissipate again after a few years, or are most women kind of stuck with this “forever”? It’s a real challenge in every day life, I hope this will get better at some point.
Thank you and have a lovely day! 🌞

      Hi C
Most women do find that their symptoms start to ease off as their hormones re-balance, however, this can depend on lifestyle, diet and stress levels. We do know that looking after yourself well, dealing with stress and getting plenty of relaxation can make a huge difference!

Please help!! Started waking up with crushing headaches and severe eye pain that lasts all day everyday. It's been over two weeks now I've been going through this on a constant.. I'm 52 my period's had stopped a couple of months ago.. can my headaches and eye pain be caused by premenopause??? Went to a neurologist to have an MRI of my brain he said it's fine so I don't know why this is happening. I've also had these debilitating symptoms of fatigue nausea hard to speak at times arms feel heavy like I can't even lift them. Keeps me bedridden. I don't know if this is all pre menopause or what. Help please I'm at the end of my rope

      Hi Daisy
Unfortunately, headaches can be caused by the menopause in some women. Hopefully the tips will be of benefit such as taking magnesium and drinking plenty of plain water - these often work quite quickly. If these don’t help then you may find acupuncture can be of benefit.

Hi Eileen. Enjoying your videos tonight. I had a hysterectomy 7 months ago and while the pains associated with endo adeno PCOS and fibroids have gone surgical menopause is killing me 😫 I am on Premarin. Should I take magnesium or do I need to speak to my gyno first?

    • @WeTalkMenopause
      @WeTalkMenopause  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Katherine
As far as I am aware there are no issues taking magnesium with hormone medications such as Premarin so you could try a supplement, approx 200mg twice daily to see how you get on.

      Hi Salima
I am really sorry but I can't answer this question for you; this is a medical one so you would need to speak to your doctor. They should have your health notes and should be able to determine if this is a possibility in your situation.
