Awesome video. It was a good day out on that Sunday.
We got a couple of Snapper and some good Flathead over towards Wello Point.
Will give you a shout when we see you at the ramp next time ;)

Great video Pete! Such a great range of species and thanks for sharing the tips. Chasing those reefies in the shallows looks so fun. Enjoy the feed of fish!

      Thanks Will!!
Yeah mate, great mix of options in the bay no doubt. If the sharks weren’t there and the giant herring were in, it would be next level!!

@@Peter_Herbst_Fishing Yeah I'm super keen for the summer fishing action, but I'm definitely not keen for the shark activity to increase again!

Great video mate. I've been pushing more out in the northern bay and using the electrics more. What would be great to learn from you - since you seem to be a pro at it - is learning more about how to find the grounds - eg I saw you were jigging in about 14m of water there, so how you go about picking your grounds, and then a bit of your process to finding the fish on your sounder.

Fishing structure in the bay mate.
I’ll try show more of fish on the sounder in the future mate.

Great content as always... what was the soft plastics box you had the small reefie baits in ?
Is it TPE friendly as well ?
A short video on tackle storage would be great ?
I have vibes that tails are bent. from storage

The versus range of split foam boxes are by far the BEST on the market imo. Fine with anything in them too.

Hey Pete, what kindve knots do you do for all your mono to lure knots?
Also would you be able to do an Indepth video on sounding the bay with both down and side scan? I have trouble with understanding it properly and finding good ground.
    Cheers mate.

Mostly use a loop knot connection to the lure to help with better action.
Going to step up the sounder stuff with some new kit coming mate.

Great vid as always Peter, any tips on catching Jew fish, I be tried so much but I just can’t catch them, nor find them most times. Anyways keep up the work

      Thanks mate.
Most fish are coming from structures in the bay.
River systems are different but the bay is dominated but larger structures on the bottom.

Even had them in the shallows of late.

What moon phase was this? Generally small tide changes have less time between them and more of a slack period, so the flow can still get quite strong when it gets moving

People oblivious that leaving headlights on at the ramp is so annoying and disrespectful
I see this every weekend, and yes I do say something, most are very good about it, others not so much
