Thank you everyone for your continued support and for watching!!
Featherweight - the gem of quilters. Perfect to take to weekend quilting events or training. Walking foot used to direct and follow quilting patterns (think feathers, circles, etc.) The machine, so light and so accurate.
I just checked in my sewing room because I thought that I might have one of those metal hoops and sure enough I do!!!!! Mine has cork not felt on the inner hoop. It’s not branded, only says made in USA. Off to check comps!!!! Thanks for the info 🎉
That is awesome!
I always check the sewing/ craft section. I've found a crewel kit that sold for $80 to someone in Japan, paid $2. I have found a set of the button hole cams before but they were priced at $20, so I left them. The Bucilla Christmas stocking kits are a good pick-up also. And they are easy to ship!
Nice crewel sale!
Great video. I learned to sew on my mother’s Singer featherweight. She got it as a teen in 1946/47 as soon as Singer started producing them again after WW2. It’s the only sewing machine she ever owned, and it’s still going strong at my siblings house…
They don’t make them like they used to!
Great info! I’m trying to expand my knowledge of “other” categories and I love videos like this (especially crafts!!).
It’s so fun!!
I found a feather light machine with case last summer for $50. I thought I was nuts, but now I will list it!
Oh wow! Major score! Let us know how it does!
You are right! Watching this video makes me anxious too. I want to go thrifting right away. I keep thinking I've seen these kits at my local thrift store.
I hope you find something!!
If you've ever sewn with a Singer Feather Light, you'll know why they're so popular...smooth as silk. I had a bunch of old antique sewing machines and parts. I took them apart and sold the pieces and bought a Feather Light with the money. The Singer pieces and accessories are very good sellers. And you reminded me...I have one of those button hole gadgets somewhere that I need to sell. Fun video, thanks for the company!
That’s great!
Wow that was awesome!! Thanks for sharing that. I have one of the little singer sewing machines ! Think i better go examine it closer!! Best wishes always!
You're welcome!
Oh man oh man, I just bought stuff at an auction that was telling a Singer 221 Featherweight. Wish I would have seen this video last week. It sold for $132.29.
Oh wow!
Thank you! I’m headed to the basement to see if my mom’s Singer buttonhole set has an eyelet cam!
Let us know!!
The hoop you were showing that sold for $330.50 was mine. I had seen this as a BOLO and found one on an online auction with other sewing items. Paid $81.00 for all the lot and was so excited when this sold. Love watching you both. Great tips and information!
Oh sweet!! Congrats on that sale and good job hunting one down!!
Amazing tips!
Freearm is when a piece of the bed on the left can be removed. The bed around the needle is now maybe 3-4” and one can sew sleeves or the hem of a pant leg which can be slipped around the sewing bed. This way there’s no tugging of the fabric because the garment area can move freely. I hope this makes sense.
I just listed a singer buttonholer with box etc and a White brand one. Only the White brand had a eyelet cam. I can’t find a comp for that cam alone so I just made a note of it in the listing just now. Thanks for doing all the great research!
Yes that does make sense! thank you!
Very good info. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I live in Glasgow and I just found you. Been binge watching you. You you and your husband- learning so much
Welcome!! Thanks for watching!
I get such great info from your videos. I’d love to see a knitting bolo video. I sold some merino wool yarn for $80, it’s pricy in stores. I just picked up a bunch of vintage knitting patterns that look promising.
Ooh yarn can be fun! Let us know how the patterns do!
Thanks Sharon! Who knew! Like you, I'm itchin' to run to my local thrift stores and dig in the boxes of metal things. 😅
With such high SOLD amounts, are there ways of insuring or additional fees for shipping? Thanks again for another great video!
That’s a good question! I’d probably look into signature confirmation and inform the customer about it!
Good stuff! Thanks!
You’re welcome!
Really interesting. Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome!
Thank you

Had to be a quick video this week. 😊

Great video. I do not sew either so this video was so helpful!
Thanks!
Thank you for this video! Super interesting. You have a nice video voice. Really easy to listen to.
Can I ask where you’re at in mt? You have mentioned you and your husband go to a bins location. I didn’t know there was one here and would loveeee to go! I’m around missoula. :)
It’s just a tiny bins…not Goodwill but a clearance center run by Flathead Industries. I’m in Kalispell. ☺️
@@pishposhreselling ah that makes sense. What a beautiful spot! Thanks for sharing. :)
Kincaid is in the furniture in NC? Or so that’s pretty cool
