The way you use it is honest and responsible. That's about it, just tools. Tools have no morals; a hammer is used to fix a work of art on the wall or to hurt someone. Great tips, thanks!
rendaring problem/ my 1.30 min {1080} video rendering needs 13 hours is possible, my computer Prosser is intel I5 13gen is there any problem with Moho 14.2
Are you rendering in a crazy huge resolution? (8k) or doing something super complex with particle generators? Another reason could be you've embedded a huge movie as a background? Just some ideas. Or maybe you've set the rendering length wrong and it's actually 1h 30minutes?
Love your style, and no shame at all in using AI as reference. Are you using any particular brushes for your outlines? I always struggle to find a brush I’m happy with for my outlines but yours look so good.
I just use the standard Procreate 'Studio Pen'. Either at 2% or 5% width. I usually draw my backgrounds in 4k resolution, though so I can do some zooming and cropping if needed (in case I use the drawing as an establishing shot - which I usually don't re-create in Moho, but use as-is). And of course I do some cleaning up, mostly removing all the 'pigtail' artifacts that you get when drawing digitally on a slippery pane of glass. I tried various films and pen tips to get a more paper-like feel, but in the end the original Apple pen tip on glass is still the best, and so I have to clean up the pigtails.
That’s interesting, you have a really nice line style, I have tried so many brushes, but never feel satisfied, I think I must be the problem 😂 Do you use any stabilization? I hear you on the slippery surface of the iPad. I am also working on my own independent project and backgrounds are a constant issue, as even though I can draw, I find them so time consuming and there’s already so much to do with designing and building characters, animating etc. I have looked at AI backgrounds, and although they can give impressive results, I just hate the lines they produce, too thick and you get lots of weird artifacts when zooming in. I like your approach to using them as inspiration and reference.
Only for some curves or arches I use the draw-and-hold function of Procreate which then recognizes arches and you can tweak the shape. I also use the line straightening function in Procreates for lines that need to be perfectly straight (less in Shadywoods, because there everything is a little worn down, but with Phungus & Mowld and the very technical backgrounds I often needed perfectly straight lines).
You didn't even watch the video through, did you? I never used gen AI data as-is for output, merely for brainstorming or as a *reference* for creating my own original designs. So if I used a photo that someone else took as a reference for tracing, that's OK, but using an image created based on data that was collected from the same sources as a *reference* that is somehow unacceptable?
@@KilianMuster you're still using it, wasting energy resources and legitimizing tech that's build on theft and worker replacement. As if there wasn't enough human art to inspire us in the first place! Doing research is an illustrator's job too!
Yeah, I know like those cars who replaced all those coachmen, and phones that put all the people who learned morse code out of business. And the telegraphs that replaced couriers, and not forget refrigerators that replaced icemen, so how far back in time would you think we need to go to make good for all that worker replacement? Or don't you think that you cannot stop new technology entirely, so you better embrace it in a responsible way and - surprise! - for all the jobs gone usually entirely new jobs, new industries will be created in support of that new technology. Just like the coachmen, and horse grooms were gone, after cars became popular, but we got jobs for car dealers, mechanics, car tuners, F1 racers, car designers, engineers, and a whole separate industry for making car related toys, car electronics, tires, you name it.
This is how AI is supposed to be used. Great work
Excellent work. Using references for inspiration is a natural and normal process. You are still putting in the creativity and hard work!
I love it ! you are still using your imagination and your hard work !

Thanks for sharing your method! AI can greatly help small teams or solo animators in designing backgrounds.
brand new to Moho could you do a video on how to make character which software you use to make them
Do you mean the design before I start tracing and rigging?
@@KilianMuster yes i meant that

Honestly I use combination A.i and blender 3d then I import to Krita to make the final touches

Using gen AI is a deal-breaker for me. Unsub.
