Thank you for the review on the product, it actually helped with my decision on which one to buy. I was looking at the Hollywood Mars 400 have held off for several months. I am glad i held off because I liked the features of the Vaxis Atom 500.

Hi. Thanks for the review. Very cool. Seems everyone is focused on doing reviews on the Mars 300 these days. But VAXIS ATOM 500 seems to be an alternative in the same price range. Could you do a latency test showing a base line first with the camera connected via hdmi cable direcly to the monitor? VAXIS claims 0.1s latency but that does not take into account that the camera itself often has some latency on its HDMI output.

does the atom 500 comes with battery pack or you have to buy them separately?
I can tell you from using both units the Holyland has excessive bleed when using 2 units side by side where as the Vaxis has no bleed. The Holyland runs 200m max where as the Vaxis runs 350m easily ( don’t ask me what it is in ft I have no clue ) . I currently use the Vaxis Atom

yes, you can connect multiple Vaxis wireless video systems together. Their frequency ranges are separate.

Hi my name is Glenn I'm a producer. I would like to use 4 video transmission systems simultaneously for live performances with the Atem mini pro from blackmagic. Is it possible? if yes, will there be any interference? And what thirty year old video systems do you buy?
Hey Carlos Thanks for the comparison. Have you compared images putting out by these systems? I have a cosmo 400 and a couple of mars400s both connected with sdi cable on my ross carbonate black and Sony LMD display monitors and the image from the cosmo 400 is way superior compared with the mars400s, sharper, crisper and much more real colors, and I tested both mars400s units same camera, same camera settings, same cable. Just wonder have you done a test like this before? maybe I'll shoot a video on this...

you can, but the quality may not be as great as if you used a wired connection

@@carlosq00 I have the 400 not the 400S, the 400 has two HDMI on both the transmitter and the receiver and I have been able to run signal from the 400 on my camera and the 400 on whichever one of my monitors I am using and was able to send a signal to my 44 inch external monitor via a longer HDMI cable, I have 4 Blackmagic pocket 4K and two GH5's so I was not interested in the SDI on the 400S it saved me a few dollars. By the way I love your Chanel
