    Dom, between your OG site and now these vids you've managed to put together some of the highest quality educational content in the sport. Keep it going, dude. I hope it's paying dividends for you. Even the way you discuss gear and your "system" are very entertaining.

    You talk alot of 'sense' in your explanations.
    Having been euro nymphing for a while now alot of what you were talking about makes way more sense than it would have before I started euro nymphing. Having that understanding of currents, drifts and strike zones as you mentioned and also around keeping it tight certainly makes for better success on the water.
    Great content bud

    • @Troutbitten
      @Troutbitten  2 роки тому

      Hi James. The Troutbitten website is the hub of the whole project. There are nearly 900 articles there. It's easily searchable and pretty well organized -- although I'm working on making it even better this summer.
      Here is the guide page:
      troutbitten.com/troutbitten-guided-fly-fishing-trips/
      Cheers.

    This is a great video, but what about people who use a hopper for an indicator or a bobber. Not all of us do the tightline or Euro crap.

    • @Troutbitten
      @Troutbitten  2 роки тому +4

      Please watch the video and listen in detail. I mentioned the indicator style as well. We still want the line from the indy to the nymph to be tight. You can do that with a regular setup. But if you put an indy on a tight line rig, you have even more control over the placement of everything. We do that every day. Here's a link to a Troutbitten article with more detail about all of that.
      troutbitten.com/2017/02/14/tight-line-nymphing-with-an-indicator-a-mono-rig-variant/
      Read that and follow the contained links. But you'll have to do it with an open mind.
      Goodl luck.
