i love this guy. really clear, compact, informed, and creative. i gotta go practice. mike's approach is always an internal one. so while showing all the external techniques, it is only there for you to have your own understanding of it to express yourself. great teacher.

I have been looking at the various lessons you have posted and just wanted to let you know how great I think they are, the concepts are exactly what I am trying to get to grips with and you explain and demonstrate them really clearly. The challenge for me is to get my fingers to do what I hear in my head so lots of practise needed. If New York was not so far from London I would love some lessons with you but these videos are certainly the next best thing. Thank you for sharing this great stuff.

Love the videos. I really do!! Watching them over and over, as there's so much valuable info packed into them. Also love that you're playing barefoot. Gives it an even more casual, homey feel!

Excellent. This is we what I'm talking about in terms of very powerful, applicable concepts with a very simplistic method. Very well taught, and very effective.

After years of playing and learning music, eventually Learning piano, I find this video.
The concepts are great. But what’s even better?
I look down at the name of the instructor, “Micheal Wolf.” I think to myself, “Hm. Wolf sounds familiar.”
    Now mind you, I’m 26.
He’s the father of Nat and Alex Wolf!
    “The Naked Brothers Band!”
They were the ones who inspired me to want to start my own band and get into music!

following my last post of gushing praise and having watched this video again i would love a more in depth explanation of the whole left hand 4th's ideas, how you move the chords up and down, voicing's etc. I keep trying to pause the video to better see what you are doing but you move pretty fast!!
Thanks again for the great lessons

Love the *chromatic approach,* playing totally 'out' (in a tune as 'innocent' as "Autumn Leaves")
    ;)!
Great chord voicings, by the way, what a natural .
    TY for that!

I would very much love to have piano lessons with Michael when I'm over in the States.
I'm from Australia. He seems very blunt and straight to the point and easy to understand.
Where abouts is he based? and is he available to teach?

and beside the masterful explanation i love your hands on the piano. definitely you had a classical training which so many jazz pianists lack in a good proper playing technique. kudos to you, Sir!
